Hi all,
Tried to install a custom rom last night, it was all going well then I could not get any further as I can not install a custom kernel due to the bootloader still being locked.
Is there any free way of doing this yet ? Or do I have to use the paid service "Omnius for SE" for example?
Is there also a cheaper option than Omnius if it has to be paid?

Cheers is there no other way ? I have used the paid test mode before for sim unlock.

Dude make sure you have the correct kernel and baseband.

He states nowhere that he changed the ROM, Kernel or baseband, only that he unlocked the phone. Or do you know something about his phone that no one else does?

I did a google search and i found the program i think. it's here, check if that looks like the program you used.
At the bottom of the page it says this:
Trouble Shooting:
Error message: Phone unlocked but no service
Solution: Run software again and start from stage 4 (put phone in boot mode and proceed). Ignore “account has zero credits” message. You can unlock the same phone as many times as you wish.

I was wondering how Carrier and Country affect getting updates? I have a Z Ultra 6802 (HK - came with Chinese apps) and haven't seen the 501 update on my phone yet and I really don't want to unlock the bootloader.
So I guess my ultimate question is: Will I get the update in the US while on AT&T? (I'm ok waiting, just want to know)

Eventually. Or you can do what I did and flash a generic 510. Then use PC companion to repair if it doesn't work properly. When repaired, a new version of 510 is installed by Sony that works.

So I thought to flash combination then stock ROM In order to get the OEM unlocked. ?*?* wrong thing to do ?
My phone is Samsung Galaxy A102U (A102USQS4ASK4) Exynos, TMK @amirizad_7436

So is the U4 allowed to sub for the S4 & what about the last number ? 1 and 4 ??

The only important part is A102U
Other number will change after every update

AFAIU I should change product ID from NAM-LX9 to NTH-NX9 and load Honor 50 full ROM. The questions are:
- which tool I need ? (I checked SigmaKey supported list and both of them are still not supported)
- get Honor 50 full ROM (not able to find it)
Any other suggestion is more than appreciated =)
