Just need to find the clock apk or have someone extract it for you. If you don't manage to find it by tomorrow before I get back to the office, I'll pull it out for you.

Hi, I'm having the same problem and I can't seem to find the clock apk. Could you please link me a file or extract it for me?
Thanks

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with this, I've mistakenly overwritten my stock clock too with ICS's stock clock, but Samsung's actually a bit better..
Many thanks!

Think you need:
com.sec.android.app.clockpackge
- needs to be installed as a system app.
Pretty sure that worked for me many flashes ago...

Thanks!

[Q] Help! Live wallpapers option disappeared!

Okay, I have a HUGE problem- I don't really know why, but I cannot access my live wallpaper on my x10a any longer... When I press the menu botton or long-press on the home screen, I can get the option of mediascape and wallpaper only, but the live wallpaper which used to be under those two is gone!! Is it possible that I accidentally deleted this when uninstalling system apps? and can I reinstall it? Or would it be a program that possibly disabled the option?? Please help, I really want my live wallpapers capability back!
Thanks!

[Q] widget wont install on my Arc

did you install the apk as a regular apk or did you move it to system/apps and rebooted.
In last case, did you set permissions right (rw-/r--/r--)?
If you post the apk i can give it a try (Arc Lt15i) if you want
I install using both method, regular and copy to system/app and set the permission to rw-r-r-...but fail also.
This is the link to the apk file. I hope you can solve this problem of mine..

I tried to decomplie the widget seems like it need the framework-res.apk file. So I don't think it's easy to port because it's just like our Timescale widget won't work in other devices. Probably some developer need to port it. Try to post under this section. http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=524

Extract .apk from phone

Is there a way I'm able to pull the apks from the phone of the stock bloatwear?
I ask because I have 2 LG MyTouches. One I have rooted and accidently deleted the launcher (lghome), and the other is still stock and untouched. I want to pull the apk from the stock one and copy it over to the rooted one.

[REQ] AOSP JB lockscreen

Hello,
I'd like to ask somebody more proficient than me to modify/create/whatever to get AOSP jelly bean lockscreen
there are numerous entries in xda forums about that but it seems I'm too dumb to follow it - there's always something wrong.
example links I've found for S2 JellyBean but can't follow:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1689376
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2026976
Thanx in advance (also for not advising me to try 3rd party lockscreens which I found all either laggy or unresponsive or unreliable or battery draining or just ugly)

Just like you I didn't understand anything on those two threads!! But since this is for S2, it may or may not work for S Advance... just wait for some expert to answer you..
Why don't you give Holo Locker a try.. I used to use it when I was on GB...

It consumes your battery. I tried to make that one work, but no luck. When I transfer modded file to my phone I got same thing like before.
I follow four different tutorials and none succeeded, we must find the specific form for SGS Advance.
That seems easy. Try using Virtuous Ten Studios. It will save a lpt of time and help in debugging.

Tried it but I got stuck in a bootloop when I replaced the android.policy.jar in my phone
thanks Shaan for the tip about the software.
successfully edited and compiled android.policy.jar file - I'm trying to follow mirko_ddd's tutorial
but no luck decompiling secsettings.apk - I know it has dependencies on framework-res.apk and tw-framework.res but I can't find any option in the program to force that
-----
just got it, finally decompiled secsettings.apk
----
SECOND EDIT:
I finally managed to decompile secsettings, followed mirko_ddd's tutorial, recompiled and exchanged the androidmanifest.xml from original .apk as otherwise system claimed not to have the app installed (ie. you couldn't enter settings at all). so, the system boots fine, everything works fine, except there's no change, so still no way to toggle AOSP lock.
currently I'm at loss, can you share any ideas with me? ofc if you'd like to take a look I'll upload the smali files I changed

How do you install custom fonts

I was wanting to install a custom, non-SmartWorld font and use it with the stock font changing settings, can anyone tell me if that is possible? if so, can you please guide me? I have looked through all the folders and cannot find where the fonts are located. The only other thing I can think of is that they are .apk files.
My setup is as follows:
LP SkyDragon 3.0.1 w/ SD ver 4.0.1 kernel.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated thank you much.
? If I have helped you please hit the thanks ?

I used to use ifont, but it boot loops my phone on on the LG G3. It worked great on my GS4. I appreciate the reply.
UPDATE:
Well I thought I would try ifont again, just for laughs, since I haven't tried it since they achieved root for this phone. Well I moved my custom fonts into the custom folder, went into the app & installed the fint I wanted, rebooted and worked flawlessly. They must have fixed whatever was wrong with the app. Much happier now.
? If I have helped you please hit the thanks ?
