My SGS2 dont support NFC! Help! - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys i know Samsung Galaxy s2 GT-i9100 SHOULD Support NFC But main dont! Please help! My device rooted and i its running on Resurrection Remix V2.0 [ Siyah Kernel ]

No, the GT-i9100 does not support NFC.
Only the Korean version (i9101 or i9102... not sure) has it and maybe i9100p... look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1407808

It's the SGSII I9100G that supports NFC I believe

1.You don't have NFC if its i9100
2.If its i9100P you are running a rom not supporting NFC
3.Wrong section, Q/A = Questions

[Q] No NFC on Samsung Galaxy SII on new ROM

I have updated Samsung Galaxy SII with different Android version and I discover that none of them have support for NFC (near field communication) except the original ROM then I bought the phone.
Now I have Android 4.0.3 ROM I9100OXALP2 (ICS) and it does not have support for NFC, none of 2.3.6 or 2.3.6 all official ROM .
What do I have to do to have NFC support?

ANSWER you do not use ICS its not released by Samsung and is a test rom only .
you use the rom that came with the phone or go back to the seller and see if they have an update .

Most of the roms here are for i9100 not i9100P or whatever your phone is, so they do not have NFC support as we dont have the hardware, if you want NFC support your best bet is to flash back the rom that came with your phone.

[SOLVED] Siyah kernel is compatible with Galaxy S2 ICS?

Been looking for SiyahKernel S3-v1.3.7beta, is it compatible with Galaxy S2 stock ISC 4.0.3?
http://www.gokhanmoral.com/gm/2012/06/30/siyahkernel-s3-v1-3/
You're asking if SiyahKernel S3 is compatible with your S2? Think about it.

Was a lapsus. Obviously my question is if any Siyah kernel is compatible with SGS2 and ICS. The official website doesn't say a thing for each version description.
EDITED: Nevermind, SiyahKernel SGS2 v3.3.2 is for Galaxy S2 ICS
Siyah Kernel v.3.3.2 for Galaxy S2 i9100! [ICS]

RGUI MIUI Rom for I9305??

Hi,
I talked to gh.rohit a brilliant developer. He has developed rom RGUI and RGUI MIUI roms for galaxy S3. I would love to use his RGUI rom but he told me that RGUI MIUI rom works on Korean S3. As much as I know, there is no difference between Galaxy S3 LTE I9305 and Korean galaxy s3 except DMB (To watch live television).
I am not an MIUI fan but in case if anyone wants to give it a go.
Warning: As usual, me or gh.rohit is not responsible if anything happens to your device in case if you try his rom.
Below is the link of RGUI MIUI.

The only difference between i9300 and i9305 is LTE and 2GB RAM. However, I dont know about technical difference between partition and other stuff.
Eagerly waiting for your reply and rom.

this will not work
- its ics
- has i9300 kernel

Porting MIUI would be easy.

Both r good since the base for both the kernels are same ma8
2.does kernel siyah support dualbooting Jelly Bam rom with my stock samsung 4.0.3 ?
Yes,it does support dual booting JB and ICS for u but the JB rom(jelly bam preffered by u) should be the latest release which has the new mali driver
3.If it supports dualbooting these amazing roms beside eachother , how can I dualboot them easily?
u can see this fantastic guide for dual booting by @phistacio, fallow the instruction in the first post carefully to have a successfull dual boot on ur phone
Dorimanx is based on Siyah but Dorimanx has more tweaks.
