[Q] No NFC on Samsung Galaxy SII on new ROM - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have updated Samsung Galaxy SII with different Android version and I discover that none of them have support for NFC (near field communication) except the original ROM then I bought the phone.
Now I have Android 4.0.3 ROM I9100OXALP2 (ICS) and it does not have support for NFC, none of 2.3.6 or 2.3.6 all official ROM .
What do I have to do to have NFC support?

ANSWER you do not use ICS its not released by Samsung and is a test rom only .
you use the rom that came with the phone or go back to the seller and see if they have an update .

Most of the roms here are for i9100 not i9100P or whatever your phone is, so they do not have NFC support as we dont have the hardware, if you want NFC support your best bet is to flash back the rom that came with your phone.

My SGS2 dont support NFC! Help!

Hey guys i know Samsung Galaxy s2 GT-i9100 SHOULD Support NFC But main dont! Please help! My device rooted and i its running on Resurrection Remix V2.0 [ Siyah Kernel ]
No, the GT-i9100 does not support NFC.
Only the Korean version (i9101 or i9102... not sure) has it and maybe i9100p... look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1407808
It's the SGSII I9100G that supports NFC I believe
1.You don't have NFC if its i9100
2.If its i9100P you are running a rom not supporting NFC
3.Wrong section, Q/A = Questions

[Q] Galaxy S Player 3.6 wifi not smooth

Hi,
For christmas, I bought a Galaxy S wifi 3.6 (EU) for my daughter. I was expecting this player to be as smooth as my Galaxy S but it isn't. Is it due to Gingerbread 2.3.6 which is old or is it due to Samsung layer on top of Gingerbread ? I don't know.
I was expecting a CM10 for YP-GS1 but there is nothing as of today.
I have seen that there is a stock rom based on Gingerbread 2.3.6 which is pre-rooted and including JB theme.
My questions are:
- Does it include Samsung layer above Gingerbread ?
- Is this pre-rooted stock rom for YP-GS1 more smooth than the original one provided by Samsung with his device ?
Thank you in advance for your help. I searched this information but was not able tio find them.
PS: btw happy new year everybody.

[Q] How to put Android 4.3 on a Galaxy Ace 3?

A friend of mine bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 (GT-S7275R), which has Android 4.2.2 - and that is the latest version that Samsung provides for this phone.
However, he'd like to use it with Fitbit hardware, which requires BLE API for syncing, and that feature is in Android 4.3.
How do we put 4.3 on this phone?
I don't think there's Cyanogen for this model. Is it possible to install vanilla Android 4.3 safely?
no
no rom like u want vanilla

Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy - which rom have enabled BLE in S2 ?

Bluetooth 4.0 BLE is hardware side, not software side. Our phone is Bluetooth v3.
I got results:
Android 5.0.2 CM 12 beta firmware for Galaxy S2 supports BLE, and works with BLE devices!
(others reported that 4.4.4 have BLE, unofficial 4.4.3 do NOT have BLE, official firmwares do NOT have BLE)
