I have the international unbranded version of SGIII and use it in the US. I'm trying to register ChatOn but every code I receive it comes back as invalid when I try to input it. I also trying voice call activation same problem. I wonder if ChatOn is not working in the US!!

So, I recently bought an unlocked SGS2 (I'm a US AT&T user) and it seems that ALL the numbers in my contacts list are stored as (xxx) xxx-xxxx which apparently is invalid because I get sending failed errors every time I try to text one of those numbers. If I edit the contact and reenter the phone number, it is stored as xxx-xxx-xxxx, which works. I have somewhere north of 200 contacts with at least 1 number each so I REALLY don't want to have to reenter all phone the numbers...any solution to this?
EDIT: For anyone who runs into this problem, I found a lifesaver of a solution in the form of a $1.99 app called: Google Contacts Formatter...it has a lot of different formatting options, so it could also be useful for people who move from the US to an area where formatting is different. Link here.
Huh, that pattern supposed to be exist in US! Anyway, no need for an app, just change your phone language to English UK, done.
Regards.
Hi all, after flashing an ICS ROM for the first time, when I receive a messege the contact name doesn't appear it shows me the number with the country code prefix, I didn't have this problem when using GB ROMs, and I don't want to re-edit about 500 contacts to add the country code to it.
note: contacts names appear when they calling me without the country code prefix.
any fix for this ??
why not use another messaging app?

My problem is actually when i want to text somebody, the number im texting must have my country code which is +65..but when i want to call somebody,i actually do not need my country code..so i need to save 2 numbers, one with the country code and another with no code.. I need a solution cause i have ALOT of contacts.. any suggestions is appreciated
Ever since the last update (LKC), all my phone number logs (and Caller ID) all display the +1 country code, and thus they don't match the Contacts from my google contacts.
Does anyone know of a fix for this?
Thanks!
I have an account I have used on several phones. On s4 it tells me my carrier does not support it and I need to visit help center. I leave test VMs and Voice is not receiving them. Is there something special that needs done?
*92[Your Google Voice number]
Found it....nevermind
When setting up just ignore it when it says the carrier does not support and activate it anyway. Had to do the same thing on my Thunderbolt.
