Hey I'm having a problem. When I first got the phone, I could play music stop and leave it for a while and then continue from where I left it.
Now if I'm listening to an album, and stop it. When I hit play from the widget it starts from the begining which is driving me crazy, because I listen to audio books and I have to skip to the last track I was on.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks

Hello,
I am using my HD2 as my primary music device in the car. When using shuffle on a playlist; the music player go the next track but the music player will not move forward to display the next song. If I go to the home screen, and back to the music player it will catch up and be fine for a song or two but then go back to the same issue.
Another example would be in the main screen of the music player, the wrong song and album art will be displayed. If I go into Library/Now Playing, the correct album/track will be displayed. If I press Back, it will show the last song played.
Is anyone else having this issue? I have searched the threads but not finding anything to help remedy this frustrating problem. It seems to work for a bit, then I will have to get out of the music player and back into temporarily remedy the problem, just to have it do the same thing again.
Thanks!
Has anyone run into this issue?

Sort of...
I've noticed when using the built in sense player if I turn shuffle on while playing songs it will sometimes display the wrong album art until I go into library or exit and go back in.
My thought are that it has something to do with CHT.
Do you use CHT?
I am not sure what CHT is.
CHT = Cookie Home Tab
Never had this issue you stated.. hmm
Hello,
I have the same problem and at least one more...
Now, when I start playing a music it stops after 10 seconds ...
I'm not an expert but, like Faelok, I'm convinced that this is something coming from CHT... Never had this problem with the original configuration...
Now I'm ignoring the original Music Player and I'm using either S2P or Pocket Music.
The new S2P is freeware and it is more then Ok to use in the car.
Cheers

I am using the stock config and yet having this issue. My music plays flawlessly,it is just the visualization that its effected. I hate to keep taking my eyes off the road to hold this things hand and force it too update. All off my tags are correct, album art is all there for every album. I hope someone had a fix for this as its very annoying.
Thanks!
Thanks for your replies. I wonder if this is just the nature of the sense music player and no way to correct it. You would think that if it will refresh and catch up to the correct album art and track name if you get out of the player and come back in there would be a way remedy the behavior. I'm interested to see how many others are experiencing the same problem.

Are you controlling S2P over bluetooth or just your finger?
It looks like album view has been disabled in the recent version .80. My whole reason for this post it to try to get the album art to display properly. It looks like the dev for S2P is working hard on it and wish him the best
I'd still lilke to find a fix for the issue I posted but I am not coming up with anything.
My music will not play continuously. After each song It stops and goes back to the start of the song and waits there. Any else have this problem?
sent from my rooted,
and chillin, canadian Motorola Atrix
Do you have the gallery set to auto close?
im not having this problem, but i am having a simaler one. I started noticing to today, i was listening to a song and around 30 seconds it started playing another song. then i restarted it and it just stopped at the middle. happened to other songs as well. it gets really annoying. it has done it on 3 music players, including the default.
You need to make sure that the music player, gallery and purchased music are NOT on the auto-end list in the Task Manager.

haha, i didnt think of that. i feel retarded
I played around with the trackback settings under accessibility, don't remember what I did, now everytime I'm driving the navigation went from the woman that used to speak through the music, now it's a man who pauses the music player everytime it announces a direction. extremely annoying, how can I fix this? tried searching around, found nothing helpful.
So i have stuck it out with google music. I have close to 7000 songs uploaded.
The one thing that kills me is shuffle on a playlist. It seems i keep getting the same songs playing and it never really shuffles through them all. After many google searches i see others having the same issue. Nothing recent though. Anyone else have this issue or know of google is aware?
Is it the player or the service? I dont know of any other cloud service like this except for the upcoming xbox music.
This shuffle thing is really annoying.

If Google Music gives some problems you can install a different player like Walkman works much better than the system app
I use the XPeria S Music Playe with Beats audio. It does the job
Do all of these work with the streaming of google music?
Anyone who has used an iPhone knows what the music player app is like; it always, ALWAYS keeps track of where you left off while listening to a track or a podcast, and always continues from where you left off even after a reboot.
Is there any 3rd party music player app for Android that can do that?? I have podcasts that are hours and hours long, and it's a pain when I listen to a part of it, leave the music player to do something else, come back and find out that I can't continue from where I left off.
