Just installed the free version on my Sony ICS Tablet S but there is no setting as described in Play Store so I tried to uninstall and re-install it but I cannot uninstall it whether with the Tablet own Settings or in Play Store (I pressed the Uninstalled button but it didn't work).
Can someone please tell me how to uninstall this app?
Thank you in advance.

One of the reviewers said go into the application and there is an option near the bottom to uninstall.
But once I touch the icon, my device is "screen off and locked"
The one I installed is by Katecca!

Yes, that is the one I was referring to.
Curious, did you try first going into the tablet's Settings > Security > Device Administrators to see if the app is listed and can be deactivated there? That is what I understood the notes on the app's web page said you had to do before the app could be uninstalled.

Got it! Thanks for pointing me to the right direction, I always think its the app's Setting (so did other reviewers - look at the numbers of the complaints in the reviews of their Chinese web page!).
Btw, I only see this app listed in the device administrators under security setting, just wonder why an app has to be deleted in this way, very inconvenient to new and inexperienced users I've been using iPhone for 3 years and started using android couple of months ago with this Sony tablet.

So I use the Amazon app store and GetJar for free 'paid' apps. Some of these apps are showing up in "My Library" on my Google Android Market account. Is there a way to remove them from the Android Market account?
One recent problem is Wave Launcher which used to be free on GetJar. I don't see it listed anymore on GetJar and I can't even buy it from the Android Market since it thinks it's already purchased (but declines the 'install' saying it's not purchased). A 'delete' button like in the Amazon app store library would solve all of this...
Short of changing google accounts, I don't see any options on how to fix this. Anyone have any ideas? The problem is on my market library, not my phone (I know how to remove market links, etc.). Thanks.
I to have this problem its very annoying their has to be a way to clean it up.
I actually used the 'report' app function on the google market and got a reply back. They have "forwarded your case to a specialist to begin working to resolve your issue as soon as possible". We'll see what comes of it. Amazon's app store has a simple delete button in that library. It doesn't seem like that would be too hard to implement.
did you ever get a reply for this?
would love to be able to remove all the apps i just simply try for the sake of testing and i want them gone.....

I believe Titanium Backup can do this if you are rooted.

On the website I don't see an option, but it is possible on your phone.
I am not sure if all versions of the play store have this option (I am using Jelly Bean 4.1.2):
When I open the play store on my phone I can remove previous installed apps from the list.
Go to: Play Store > My Apps > All
There you can remove an app by tapping the Ø icon

Yeahp. It works.
I deleted some yesterday on my mobile, but they were still on my web "Other apps in my library".
Today, I deleted some again and reloaded the webpage. They disappeared.
Thanks for the tip.
Ok, maybe it needs some time to sync. Great it works!

I have this issue as well--phone app has no provision for deleting the apps, on JB ROM.
I was certain this would be answered already but couldn't find one...
I've flashed hundreds of ROMs and have always been able to go to market.android.com and install apps (even ones that said "INSTALLED") but I just flashed a new ROM and now if I click on an app it says it's already installed on the device. Is there anyway to reset this data on the website?
EDIT:
Ugh. Searched for 30 minutes before posting this and couldn't find an answer - literally the next thing I read had the answer:

Login to your Google dashboard; from a PC preferebly. Else from cell is also fine.
There, scroll down to "Android market" and click "Installed applications"
This will open android market, with your already installed apps list, under orders tab. Click the 'Settings' tab here.
Hopefully you'll see your device listed here, but the nickname will be missing. At least that's what I saw. Edit and add a nickname, save changes.
Thanks ..just encountered the problem...I'm always switching ROM (very addicting) & 1st time I encountered this problem as well.
Yikes...My device is not listed ...Guess I have to add them manually from my phone

This happens to me when I switch ROM format or smartphone, but sending the install again, it works.
Galaxy S4 Solution
I had to reinstall ("repair") the software on my Galaxy S4. When all was complete, I had the same problem as the OP. I fixed it by:
Going to the app store via my phone--"play store" app.
Clicking the menu button (bottom left on the phone).
Selecting My Apps.
The missing apps had an X and just said free or whatever.
Clicking the app opens the window to install.
Obvious from there....

Where can i see all the purchased apps?
Did they just make it so you see the install history? very annoying :-\

I don't want to see all. Just purchased....
When you pull up play store and you go to "my apps". It puts you at the installed list, if you swipe left to right you go to "all" which is a mix of purchased and non purchased apps. swiping right to left from all just goes back to installed, and you can not swipe right to left from installed. Someone care to show a screenshot of their play store "purchased" list without all the history?
Installed shows everything you have installed since you flashed, bought the phone, whatever. ALL shows everything mixed, purchased and non purchased apps installed on that account..
Where is the "purchased tab"? Before the market went to Play, you could see an Installed / Not Installed list, the Not Installed list ONLY showed purchased apps, nothing else.. Is there a way to get that back?

Not on the phone. Their might be a way via the website, I rarely log in to the Playstore website.
Im just curious as to why this is a problem? Its not a big deal to scroll thru the list and look for the word "Purchased" on the right hand side, I have a list that is massively long because I have downloaded a crap load of apps (but I usually uninstall them shortly afterwards) and Im easily able to find what Im looking for, especially since the list provided is chronological.
Yes, it would be nice to have filtering and sorting options but I know right around when I downloaded a specific app that I dont remember the name for.
Now, if you have Appbrain installed, I do believe their website has filtering and sorting available for your install history...
Oh, if the reason is because during the Android initial setup process, all your apps automatically install, just uncheck the 'restore my phone settings' option when prompted (its on the screen either just before or just after the 'backup my phone' option).
It's a big deal.
Very annoying.

Yea, Its very annoying. Cause I have to search for my PAID apps, As it shows almost everything ive downloaded since 2010!
I guess, I find it quite useful actually.
The way it used to be, that free app I downloaded 3 months ago that I couldnt remember the name of, I can now find.
It also doesnt help that a few apps had a key which is the paid portion of said app without having the free portion of the app. Yes, I know I could go into the 'key' app and then look at related or more from the developer to get the actual app itself but now its in the list.
As I said, some filtering and sorting options would be nice but you can always scroll thru the list and look for the word 'Purchased'. Its not hard to do. And if you have a general idea of when you purchased the app, it gives you an idea of how far back to scroll.
The Play store is definately in need of more filtering options!
Can't agree more about missing the list of the purchased (but not installed apps)..
I used to purchase apps that I thought would come in useful at some point down the track and use it as a bit of a bookmark that I could easily access..
Showing everything that's been installed is useful to some people I suppose, but there should be a filter, or another screen to filter by things I've actually paid for and aren't installed.
yea um you cant even see all the apps on the website it shows 20 blocks and no more. 12 per page 20 blocks. 224 apps thats it i have some old apps that i purchased on the hero back when it was first released and i can no longer get to them. its really freakin annoying having to search for PAID apps. this was the WORST decision they could have made. really how hard would it have been to make a 3rd column for recent free apps. or something like that.
Google wallet does a pretty good job of storing your paid app history.
Has this issue ever been sorted?
No, the new version of the market still lacks this valuable feature.
Google Checkout
Its still a pain and not a direct download link to the app, but you can view your transaction history on Google checkout and then find the app in the store (wallet dot google dot com). I've run into the same issue after wiping my phone and trying to remember what i've actually purchased for re-download.
I wish there were an easier way to simply sort by paid/free in you history as with the general market.

Where are my paid apps in the market?
I have over 97 "Paid" apps that I would go to after a rom flash, then I moved onto TI back up because of the simplicity of doing a restore.
In the past with the Samsung Vibrant 2.2 rom , when I go to the market, under my apps, I would see my apps that I paid for.
Now with my New Samsung SG3 4.xx rom , when I go to the market, half of them are gone. It's like I have to search for them and half of the time I cant remember what it was I had installed until I need that app.
What is the fix for this?
How do I see ALL of my paid apps at the Android market?
In Google Play, go to menu and then 'My apps'. A list of installed app will be displayed. Swipe to the right, and a list of previously installed app will appear. Select your paid apps from this list.

There's also an app I heard about just yesterday named "Legacy Play Store" that will only display your PAID apps. You can sideload it without root on pre-Jellybean devices (need root on JB).
I just tried the legacy play store app and all I got was f/c's.

I do know of that method and it does list some of the apps that I have paid for but not all of them.
Thanks Viva_SA; for your reply but even that does not list all of the apps.
This is what happens when you have over 10 billion apps sold and a large fragmentatio
Yes I agree, there should be a better way to have your paid apps listed, ALL of your paid apps.
I think google knows of this because I am not the only one with this problem and as the play market becomes mature, I am sure that there are other bugs that are now starting to surface.

Did you check out the legacy play store that was linked? It looks like it will do what we are looking for..
My only question is how do you install an app from a apk?
Defiantly, I love differentiating my purchased apps from my installed apps. I have 4+ devices.... I have 100s of apps installed and a lot are free but I do have numerous paid apps I have purchased that I would like to view without scrolling ALL the way to the bottom of the My Apps page.
Also, play.google.com does not properly detect when an app IS NOT installed on your phone so you cannot install a app from the website that was previously on your phone.

I have asked the support from the Google Market Place before it was changed to Play. This is what they told me, regarding installing apps on multiple devices. The Apps from the Market, now Play are tied into your email address hence your account. Not a phone number, so if you are to have 4 phones, as long as they are signed into a valid single account then you are free to install your apps on each puppy.
The white link is "My Orders & Settings" on the footer of the page......

Hi, I have an old HTC U11+ with Android 9 that works perfectly, at least until a few days ago.
For a few days now I've been experiencing problems with system applications, problems never encountered before... the settings application doesn't work, I see the window for an instant and then it disappears.
I tried to upgrade/downgrade apps such as "Android System webview" and "Chrome", without solving it.
I don't know what else to try... is there any way to reinstall all the system apps?

Hi! I'm having the same problem with the HTC U11 android 9. It just happened. I took my phone to a phone tech and he told me that I needed to do a hard reboot. (back to factory settings) However, that would delete all the data and pictures, music..etc.... In other words, I'll lose EVERYTHING! I need to back up the phone and have tried several different programs on my laptop to achieve that, but they all require USB debugging to be enabled. Which I can't get to because I can't access the settings on my phone. I also need to save some photos from a locked folder in the phone, as it crashes when I try to enter the locked folder. It crashes just as the pattern entry window opens. .
A hard reboot is out of the question. I need to save everything on this phone, so any help would be seriously appreciated!
