Hello all, ive got a new Tablet the GoClever TAB I71 works good but i wanted to root the device. There the problem started i didnot get a USB cable to connect it to my PC co im stuck whit the rooting APK programs but any of them are working. Currentli im running Android 2.3.3. Tryed GingerBreak 1.30, zRoot, nothing i wanted to try the SuperOnClick method but i dont hawe a cable the tablet doesent have a standart mini/micro USB but a wired connector for the USB/ETH Hub. Can anyone help me root this device ? Thx

as i said in title guys can anyone who know how to do this? is this impossible? my usb port is broken i cant charge and i cant to to pc. i already went to repair shop but im unlucky i can access the xRecovery but this is for 2.1 im on 2.3 and i install xRecovery without root 2.3.
EDIT: sorry for this ignore all message above. i remembered i root the 2.3 fw before did broken my usb port. but im using xRecovery 3.0 for 2.1 and i have a card reader and download the latest xRecovery made by Z. can i flash directly this?

It states it works only by using the apk, if that is true the root would require the usb cable, you would only have to transfer the file, which can be done in many ways, dropbox, e-mail,...

I am very new to android and dont know How to root and play with the roms and kernels...
Recently i have updated my lg p500 through lg update sfw i was successfully updated.. Now i am facing a problem i am not able to connect my phone with my pc.. its just getting charge and not getting connect. in phone some times i get usb symbol and it go off very soon.. it connect and disconnect very often, i dont understand what may be the problem.? im using the same usb cable and pc which i was using before update i was not faced and problem with froyo.
please guys kindly help me..... and im looking to root my phone help me to root.

there are many methods to root your phone......just search on the theard.....
i recommand the superoneclick method
hi.i recently bought a xperia
but it has a damaged usb port
so i can only charge it wont connect to pc
is there any app that can root phone without usb pc connection.

Hi. First time here and first post.
I have a Cloudfone 430X_FS201302 with Android version 4.0.4.
I cannot detect any USB device other than my PC connection.
I ran a USB Host Diagnostics v1.32 and it says:
Android API Device detected No
Kernel Device detected No
I guess this is why a OTC or any other USB thing will not work. I was considering ROOTING it. But i do not know if doing that would actually fix this or allow it to be fixed. Also this is my first fone of this kind and i have never rooted a fone before.
Is rooting the way to go here or is there another way to fix this.

OK ... my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (GT-P7500) has a defect USB Port ONLY charging is possible. no more Connections to PC's ore something like that.
Now the Question. Is ist possible to root without USB?
Towelroot dont work for me. It reboots but no SU rights are there.
I'm on Stock Rom 4.04 and will change to cyanogen ore something else ....

I had the same problem when I connected my Note 10.1 (GT-N8010) it only charged, tried all the available methods, used 3 different cables, reinstall drivers, reinstall KIES, etc, etc, etc. For rooting without ODIN, I tried Framaroot to root but it did not work, then tried a chinese program called RomasterSu and it worked....
But the final solution was replace the USB port and the tablet worked again with the PC. For the GT-N8010, you can search ebay for "usb charrging port gt-xxxxx. The usb port cost around $7.00USD and the process to replace it was very easy.
