According to what I read on the internet, Adobe Flash Player doesn't work well on ArmV6 processors, which is present in your Samsung Ace. The solution mentioned was in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1504968
Check it out and let me know. Meanwhile I'll search some more

Confirmed that the flash player doesn't work on Galaxy Ace or ArmV6 processors. Here's an alternate thread for the solution: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1504968
If it still doesn't work, you can try MxPlayer from the Play Store. Select that when clicking on play in a flash video in your browser. It plays literally every video!

I haven't watched the video, maybe it is an update that now allows flash player to work on such devices. Still, the links I posted are for Adobe flash player that do work on these devices. Potato-potato

Did none of the two links work? I'll look into it. Meanwhile, you can try Mx Player from Google Play. It plays every video format, even web browser videos. I use that instead of flash player. When you will click on the video in your browser, select open with Mx Player. Don't forget to install the codec pack for ArmV6 processors separately from Google play. I'll see if I can find a solution for the flash player.

Hi, at Uplinq conference Qualcomm announced that they worked very closesly with Adobe to make the Flash player available for mass market devices and get this, they said that our 800Mhz msm7227 is first mass market SoC that will support it!
Here you have official press release.
With proper hardware acceleration this could allow smooth playback of 360p clips and GPU accelerated flash shouldn't slow down browser that much.
Now it's just up to adobe to release supported version of flash and maybe up to samsung to release new firmware
EDIT: Decided to add a poll to see what will you do with flash after finally getting it on your device
Great news!
This is great!!!

Few things about this announcement that I keep thinking about:
1) this new version of flash will probably need new drivers developed by qualcomm to make flash work as it should so this means that samsung will have to release new firmware after the latest 2.3.3, so maybe with 2.3.4?
2) New drivers could mean improvements to the 3D performance
3) Samsung please do everything to give us full flash support!
honestly I don't use flash that much. the only thing I do use it for is flash videos and skyfire does the trick brilliantly! sure there are a few bugs but the browser is improving day by day. i see little to no use for me! but for some people that love flash games this is indeed great news!
I personally love not having no flash on my phone...too much adverts in my opinion!
This is my first post here. I want to buy this phone in recent times. In post above you mentioned skyfire browser. Does it show flash content even in this phone that does not support adobe flash?

AFAIK skyfire allows user to enjoy flash videos without flash on device. It transcodes(or whatever) the flash videos to something that is supported by the device.
Don't know precisely how it works cause I'm still using default system browser.
Nope. It only allow to watch videos, but not all. For example on a site with few embedded it will play only the first one.
And not all sites are supported.

Thanks for clearing that up, now I learned something new too
After more than a week of people voting in the poll I decided to summarise it.
1) 56,41% of people will use it to watch flash videos and that was to be expected.
2) 43,59% of people will show that their Ace supports flash, which I think is very funny and I will do the same. What's more interesting is the fact that only 35,9% will use it to play flash games.
3) 7,69% will not download it. I find it strange considering how many people longed for flash support.
I made to open flash 10.1 via Adobe air on LG GT540 with arm 6, now I have samsung. No flash - is shame...
Flash for acr would be great
Any specyfied time of this update?

I need a Flash Player to watch flash videos on HTC Explorer and Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830.
Which is the best ? Or should I install a browser ?
Both ARMv6 devices so don't expect much to work. There are unofficial flash apks out there for ARMv6 but performance isn't that good. If you want decent flash player you'll need an ARMv7 device.

Oh, you're right, I saw that it had a MSM7225A SOC and thought it was ARMv6, but the SOCs with the A are actually ARMv7. You can try the Android 2.x flash apk from the site in my signature. For a browser you can use the default one that came with your device or a 3rd party one like Dolphin Browser, etc.

I installed Dolphin Browser & SWF Player - Flash ®FileViewer on both the phones.
On Galaxy Ace, the site worked using the Dolphin browser and SWF Player seperately, but the images are moving in frames i.e still images moving after 5-10 seconds. On Explorer, the site didn't load anything at all using both seperately.
I don't know, why !

I try to keep it updated all the time, right now the latest version is up. You can always go to the direct Adobe link at the bottom and see. But newer releases are all just security fixes that aren't adding any new features, they will never make anything past version 11.1.x.

I find myself using Boat browser more than any other... with Skyfire a close 2nd; however, the stock/"Internet" browser works surprisingly well for flash. For example, the flash test page (which also displays version number... or an error msg...) is blank with boat, but works fine with stock:
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html
Lucidmike78 (YouTube Note 2 tips videos) mentioned flash compatibility of stock browser in passing and, although I hadn't used it for years, I thought I'd give it a try: he is right! FULL YouTube on stock browser (with flash installed) is far better than YouTube app!
