I used Green Rom - Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0, 5.0

It is so suck.... DONT USE THIS ROM
Sent from my galaxy s using XDA

I can't use it because I don't have it....
But seems on the paper very promising and useable while waiting for a 100% working and bug free ICS.
What reason you state not to use it??
Any better sugestion or proposal?

when I used green Rom, It is not cooking Rom. It's theme Rom. And too many bugs, and many people broaken down main borad.

Well perhaps this is the non-gingerbread ported NFC. Not that it makes a difference.
i know we got a working nfc enabler already. but has somebody been able to actually use it?? I just want to know for some feed back... back to topic could this mean we are nearing a final ota release?? not that I Care much i dont see me going back to stock rom unless its really stable. As far as the thread, people have been able to get NFC tags working as well as Android Beam. So, I'd say most of the things are working except Google Wallet, which on one part, is the most important use for NFC for a lot of us, but that's AT&T's fault, so...
Thank you DG.. it is appreciated

I have to say, this is the most pointless thread I've ever seen created. All questions are so easily answered. I suggest you read more before starting new topics with questions like these.
I would upgrade manually to jelly bean

If you don't know if you need it or not, then the short answer is: no, you don't need it.
Read, read, read, then read some more, then Google what you read but didn't understand. Then if you think you need it, read the stickies here to learn how to install it.

Put it this way: if you're happily running with Windows7 and could care less about Windows8, then you don't need even think about the 8.
Apply that to Android.
Ics 4 has a lot better batery life.
For me thats the main reason.

Battery life is subjective. Its really more relative to whatever extra apps and crap u stick on that can affect it. If u know what yer doing with tweaking kernel stuff (undervolting, underclocking, etc.) U can get great battery life on most ROMS. GB 2.3.4 firmware was awesome for me in regard to battery life. To each their own I suppose.

Going crazy with my new s3

Hello to all guys.
Maybe it's just me, but I'm finding it well with s3.
It would be a GREAT phone, but that really has a problem I can not solve.
With any rom the phone has a lot of lag in animations.
Even with the liquismooth that everyone says is extremely fluid, I do not look good. When I open an application, when I go into settings or anything, I have a lot of lag .. with any rom. The animations are not smooth at all.
Is there a solution?
With ICS, I seemed to have all these lag .. thanks a lot!
did you do a clean installation ?

Yes..
It is not you I've tried several roms and experienced the same. That's why I switched back to official JB.

If i install an official rom with Recovery, i will have lag?
I think you are describing stutter in the animations, try 1,0.5,0.5 in developer options/animations, or turn them of altogether is what I did!

Yes, that exactly what i'm meaning.
With 1x,0.5x and 0.5x, Is better..but i can see microlag.
Sad that a quad core phone has stuttering.
