I'm have a wt19i with stock GB ROM. Is there any way to enable volume rocker wake on stock lockscreen?
(Don't recommend apps like milocker and widgetlocker)

Are you rooted? If yes there was a build.prop tweak somewhere..
Can you tell me how to apply that tweak or provide a link regarding it?
Help please!
I got the build.prop tweak for this, here :
Code:
ro.config.hwfeature_wakeupkey=1
but I cannot find this line in build.prop file in My live with Walkman.
Why is that so? Any way to wake screen by volume rockers?
Please suggest:
Should I add above line somewhere in build.prop

i did some customization and now my wlkman button is not working, how can i fix it?
GB, ICS ?
What kind of customization ?
Look at system/usr/keylayout/pm8058-keypad.kl
Key 200 should be VENDOR_1 or MUSIC.

i just install mod theme for gb, i already fixed it but cant remember now.. something about deleting musicwidget.apk and replacing the name of semcwalkmanmusic.apk
MIUI with working walkman button.
Use lasan's latest ics rom for working walkman button. Follw the This " Link "
you have to modify this:
system/usr/keylayout/pm8058-keypad.kl
But I remapped that button to SEARCH since I think is more useful, because I use another player, PlayerPro for this and is really good! :good:
Hi im kinda new here..... i just want to know how to activate the led button in MIUI V4 my phone is NEO V.
You mean the white LEDS between the front keys?
This might work:

[Q]I don't like this mod anymore. How to Remove?
[A]
Go to /sys/class/leds/button-backlight and change brightness to 255 and max_current to 450. Than go to system/etc and change max_current to 1, too. Or replace the mooded files by the stock files. Download Here. How to Use?
Replace the mooded files with the stock files. Than go to hw_config.sh and change max_current to 450

Hi Guys!!
I accidently broke my back capicitive button and only menu button is working.
To solve this I changed WALKMAN key's function in 'pm8085-keypad.kl' and make my MENU key as back key by changing menu key's function in 'cyttsp_key.kl'.
However this method was working flawlwssly in stock rom and all the costum rom which has base rom of stock rom.
But this method is not working in cm9, cm10. I don't know why. I really want to try cm10. So anyone know how to make this method work in cyanogenmod's rom then I will be really grateful.
Thanks
EDIT:
SOLVED!! Just noticed that after editing the file the permission of that file automatically changed restricting any changes on the buttons.
So I changed the permission manually (rw-r-r) of the file after editing.
In cm10 you can set custom action on the buttons

You can add on screen keys to replace the broken hardware keys. The easiest way depending on your skill level will be to flash the PA, AOKP, or PAC ROM for your device.

I have added the virtual keys, but screen size is too small that virtual keys doesn't look good.

Nothing can be done without rooting!
This feature is on most AOSP roms.
I read a thread for the device samsung galaxy s3 and maybe if you can change a few settings for your device, you will be able to add that
Atleast you will get an idea.
Here's the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2254022%3Cbr%20/%3E%3Cbr%20/%3E[MOD][HOW-TO]%20Long%20press%20volume%20mod%203.0
Press thanks if I have helped

Hello.
My Rom : Xiaomi.eu 8.10.11
i have root.
I need volume keys control media by default
Now volume keys control ringtone , i need change it
...
In stock developer rom volume keys control media but in xiaomi.eu rom control ringtone :crying:
Any solution please ?? But i dont need app to make this
Example :Rocker locker.
Thnx ...
No. It's been always like that. If you're playing music then media are controlled, but if you aren't then it's ringtone. On other phones is like that too.
