No, the Amaze cannot be flashed to a CDMA network, it's a GSM device.

I removed what I said. Not worth the time when you are just gonna ask questions in all different forums here.

Please disregard this posting since I posted the same question to Q&A forum.
THanks!
I wanna know if Amaze would get LTE in future, Cuz I like this device n jus didn't buy Cuz waiting to see if some Carrier Comes with LTE on Amaze, any Clue ?
No, it won't be getting LTE, ever. It's an HSPA+ device, no LTE radio built in. But come on, 42.2mbps isn't great enough?
Wrong section by the way.
Looking at all your posts, it is all just questions. Are you trying to get your post count to 10 or something?
If he is, he should take an ENGLISH class.

Ok, first things first....XDA is NOT a support site, it's a developers site. Looking at your post history, I can see that almost every single tread created by you is a question, or a help request. Conversely, every question you have asked, could have been answered with a simple Google search. With that said, please search the forums and/or Google, BEFORE creating a thread. More times than not, your question has already been asked.
Also, every topic has it's proper section. Questions belong in Q&A, general topics belong under general, etc. Because you are a new member, Im going to cut you some slack, but understand that from this point forward, you will be expected to follow the rules. Any deviation from the rules from this point forward, will result in consequences. I have included a link to the rules. Please read them.

how is that trolling? a lot of people have been wondering if the only difference between US models are radios. in other words, can we just flash a different carrier radio on an S3 and it work on that different carrier.
i believe the answer to this question is yes but it has not yet been confirmed.
If the difference is the radios then no.. CDMA and GSM are different technology. Radios are hardware and software.

He probably posted in development and it was moved to Q/A.
Currently our phones only show edge 4g and 4g lte. Can someone make it show 3g and 4g only when hspda+ kicks in. Thanks.

b.s. they do belong in development becuase it is a request for development and that is the forum where developers read not in the qa .. it is NOT a question..
and how is this any differnt than the thread in development requesting a reset of the counter.. it is exactly the same.

Excuse me? It it's not b.s. If you didn't create it it doesn't belong there. Development is not for requests.

Hi All,
I recently purchased HTC evo 3d sprint cdma phone from US and brought to India. The seller told me that it is unlocked and rooted etc. But now it is not showing any networks here in India.
How will I check whether the phone is actually unlocked for use with any networks?
Can I unlock the phone from sprint?
I have unlocked the bootloader today. But no Idea about carrier unlocking.
Thanks in advance.
Eldhose Paul
Wrong section, plus isn't this kinda thing against the XDA rules?
@Op, I've moved your post here to HTC Evo 3D section questions & answers.
Chef Central is about developing apps and rom cooking.
Please use the correct section next time, thank you!

CDMA phones like from Sprint do not need and cannot be locked or unlocked (network wise). You need to register esn with your carrier (not illegal). If they will not let you, you'll have to change the esn (not sure of your local law about this, but illegal in the USA)

Thanks for the information. I will check with the local network operators.
