Hello everybody,
I have a big-small problem with my X10. My phone is charging but very hard. It take about 6 hours till battery is full. I think it is a hardware problem. I hope not..
Any suggestion is wellcome. I wasn't to any GSM Service with him...so i don't know nothing about that.
P.S
I have that charging problem from the begining, not for soon.
Hi, you could try the Battery Calibration method and see if it helps.
Good luck!

I've tryed almost all ROM's from XDA ( except MIUI cause i don't like iOS interface ). Custom and stock ROM's...
That's why i think it is a hardware problem
That's really weird... maybe you should check the battery itself. You can do a physical recalibrate by wrapping the battery in newspaper and store it in the fridge. I'm not joking, it really refreshes the battery. Anyway it depends on you

Have you tried with a different charger? I was facing the same problem, exchanged chargers with my sister and now instead of 6 hours to almost full charge it takes only 1

Nothing to worry. Use ac charger. It uses 3.12v on average but usb uses 3.72v onn average.
Insert the charger and open up your back cover. Put it near an air conditioner or over an icepack. Don't let the temperature drop below 31degree Celsius, else it will moisten the internal parts. It will charge your phone within 2hours!
Try this trick. If it works, i will tell you the logic behind this stuff

Hello i just bought my s3 yesterday and battery is draining very fast i have used the fix but i have that problem of screen which takes 88% of batery and it's not normal ! here is a screenshot

Keeping the screen on will dran the battery since that's what screens do.
Regardless of the device (including laptops), screens always take >50% of the battery.
Could you show the screen-on time?

Let me venture a guess. When you get a new phone, you tend to play with it a lot, hence the screen on time and battery drain Give it a few days, it will be fine -- this phone has great battery life.

The battery needs to go through a few full cycles of drain and charge before it's reached optimal performance. First week battery drained more but now it's performing brilliantly.
Just keep letting it drain completely and charging fully a few times and have auto brightness selected.

I've heard that li-ion batteries don't suffer from memory issues and there's therefore no reason to calibrate them or run them in any specific charge/discharge cycle.
If you ask 100 different people about how best to use your battery you'll get 100 different answers. Don't worry about it, just enjoy the phone.
Hmm. This phone probably has the best battery life of any android phone I've owned, and I've had a few.

Look in the attachments..
You haven't said how long the screen was on for.
I could show this first screenshot and say OMFG the battery doesn't last, but actually when you look at the second screenshot, then there's obviously no issues (and I am indeed perfectly happy with my battery life)

lol, I'm a bit OCD about these types of things.
But if it's not a problem then why do we need to do it?

Tripe.
Minimum of 3 cycles to reach peak performance. I have flashed hundreds of roms/kernals, it ALWAYS takes a few days for the battery to normalise.
Op, take a chill pill, calm down, post again in a few days. If you're still having drain, it will be down to an app or your settings.

12 hrs is not a good battery life I usually get around 18-22 hrs with moderate use, wifi on for 6-7 hrs. I have removed all the bloatware, which itself eliminates useless battery draining processes.
End of the day it all depends on your settings and use. But Leaked JB is well known for bad battery life. Hope that gets fixed in official release.

My battery life was crap on leaked JB. Cant remember exactly on how long it lasted but it didnt feel long compared to other roms.
At first batterytime was not so good, but after 2-3 charging cycles, and disabling all bloatware it's quite good, easily lasting 2 days with lite to moderate use. Seeing the same on NeatRom Lite 4.0
Debloated, philz kernel and stock battery...
Crap imo. But also seem to have a few wakelocks. eBay I think...

It looks like batterydrain is good when not using the phone much, but not so with more use. I have been using it a bit more than usual today, and after about 7 hours from unplugged, and a little more than 3 hour total screen time (minimum brightness), and 1,5 hour web-browsing, 1 hour playing music, the battery was below 15% (screen using 45% of battery) and I'm really not too happy anymore...

It seems battery is always an issue with android. But if you're using a stock ROM and kernel with light usage it's kinda strange maybe the battery is weak. Are you playing games? If so, it drains the battery so fast.

It's ok mate well listening to music while doing stuff really drains the battery. Try to adjust some settings like brightness, wifi, 3g, to maximize battery life. and monitor the battery first even it's secondhand try not to listen to music for long time and see if the battery drains a lot during standby mode. My battery lasts for 3 hours playing temple run 2

You should not let the phone discharge past 30 percent battery. Never completely dry your battery, you have damaged it.
Get more batteries, and a wall battery charger. They are cheap, you can forget about plugging your phone, and you can carry extra batteries. Never completely discharge them, and charge them full each time.

Try using the Easy Battery Master.
It have a formidable option called BOOST who kills all unused apps and services every 5 minutes(need be configurated to it) and also show the remaining battery in time calculated by your current usage status. This app give me something about 2-3 hours of extra battery daily.
Thanks Guys! I will try the methods! Hopefully my stock 4.1.2 battery life will improve
