Hello, im trying to install GB 2.3.6 Brazil via RS after that install ICS, but i dont know if i have to remove the SIM Card in some point of the process.
Please help me, in my old phone (Samsung Galaxy Ace) when i flash a stock ROM i need to remove the SIM card during the process
Never had to remove anything to flash with RSD Lite myself. Never flashed with ICS fastboot also so...
I have never removed my sim card, when I used RSD. And believe me, I've used it a lot.

I never removed sim card in my Samsung phones while flashing. Not sure why you would need to.

My Samsung phones always ran warm but not while flashing a rom that took all of 6 minutes at best. Never a need to remove sim.
For the poor sap that microwaved his sgs3....next time he/she should try his grocer's freezer section.

Trying to figure out why when I try to make a call my SIM disables itself and the phone freezes.

Hmm, baseband version should be I777UCKH7, right?
dude, thats weird, your base band version does not identify your phone as the att variant of the galaxy s 2.
my att gs2 reads i777uckh7 instead of your i1900
You have i9100 modem according to that screen cap - that would be causing your connection problems

Stock is UCKH7 - you've got a bogus modem.
I just posted the stock modem in another thread in General, I'll be posting it to dev later tonight once I do some investigation into flashing methods for it. I've seen some indications that CWM-flashing of modems on our device is a bad idea but I'm not sure.
Just posted a modem package to my return-to-stock thread in the first post.
Tested in heimdall, odin not tested.
In every tutorial I followed, they always told the person to ODIN back to stock before flashing any new Rom.
I've been through many soft bricks and got out of 2 hard bricks due to bootloader flashing bad.
I wanted to ODIN back to stock but my computer doesn't recognize my phone in ADB tools, what should I do.
I was thinking of selling this phone for a iPhone because i wanted to get free apps and avoid paying in the market.
Maybe its USB cord only Samsung ones work on the PC with my phone an Android apk is easy 2 get use Google search

Lol, jokes aside. I agree with Jasonhunterx but you should check your drivers first. Download Samsung Kies, it will re-install the drivers for you. If that doesn't help then the USB cord is something you should definitely take a look at... Also, about the apps... Although me and this site don't support warez, they are out there.
Thanks guys. I updated the drivers and got a new cable. It runs like a champ on the ics passion v9 rom.
You're welcome. Just remember to clickety clack our "thanks" buttons

Yeah, if everyone is OK with the complications of using a motorola phone, wait till you flip to HTC or Samsung.
Christ, who names this ****.
anyhow, which is the newest? How can you tell? I dropped out of nuclear motorola school physics 303.

Logic would dictate the one on the bottom since it's got an "02" on the end of it.
So far logic hasn't really proved to work with these phones yet... I'm still working on it though. Could be me..
A quick search shows which file is which.
The first one is a fast boot file to get you back to .173.
The one that ends in 02.xml gets you back to .744.
I didnt search for the other file.
.173 is the latest official firmware, so use the first one

I havent done it but it is the official file you need to be one while trying to upgrade. I tried but to many hoops to go through for me at this point.
So I went and restored my phone but it seems to be stuck on the optimizing apps/starting apps screen and won't go anywhere else? Anyway I can fix this? I've tried to flash a boost mobile (my carrier) stock rom but I get the same problem.

Which ROM/Kernel are you using? You can get better help if you post in that forum. If you're using stock rom, make sure you're flashing it in the right way, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e-2015/general/stocks-firmwares-moto-e-t3113235 for instructions.

@gameSTICKER has a good point. In addition, have you updated your partitions to the respective version of the ROM you are flashing? Out of curiosity, which build and version stock ROM have you flashed to your xt1526, are you using a custom recovery and, if so, what version?

Once the phone is paid off, sprint will give you an unlock code.
As far as root goes, the US versions of Samsung phones will not be rootable.
