Hi,
I am using the SanDisk Mobile Ultra 16GB I
Is there any faster Micro SD out there? class 10 or any others?
I am only referring the speed on the phone.
Perhaps i am going to get a 32gb later
Class 10 is the highest for read/write for memory cards
isn't there is something called the UHS-1?
Yes, however that class is explicitely for professional usage and as such is hard to come by and very expensive.
Additionally, it't not only about the SD, but the cardreader in the phone must also support such transfer speeds.

my question is, does anyone have a high capacity ie. 4GB card working with the windows mobile six from att website. If so what brand, size, and class are you using.
I will start by saying i have a 4gb transcend card that works sometimes after reinserting it. It is a class 6 speed.
Basically im looking to replace my card with one that is more reliable and that works all the time.
As far as i know.... And i may definitely be wrong here
The Hermes bootloader doesnt support micro SDHC card...So if you want to flash from a SD card, you always need a 2gig or smaller card.
Alot of the ROMs available here do have micro SDHC (i think also known as SD2.0) support, but i am not sure about the "official" ROMs!!!
i want to know whether our Ace support Micro SD HC??? i have search across web, and the answer which i found is inconclusive.
GSM Arena : Says Micro SD
geekaphone : Says Micro SD HC
So i like to whether any of u guys are using the SD HC card actively?

I am, and always have used my 8gb msdhc
Sent from my GT-S5830 using XDA App
I also use 8GB Micro SD HC
from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital stated that anything above 4gb is microsdhc. "hc" stands for high capacity. ace supports upto 32gb. so, its just plain obvious
I am using a 16gb class 10 PNY card. Read speed in excess of 20Mbs write speed 9Mbs.
Suggest you buy a class 10 and also from a branded manufacturer. I read a review of some of the cards on ebay and people complaining of low r/w speeds on unbranded cards which is the reason u should by a branded card.

thank you for your exp. got it!
does anyone have any idea what speeds does the tablet take for data transfer?
was thinking of buying SanDisk Memory Card Ultra 32 GB Class 10
does the tablet support read/write speed of > 10Mbps ?
no point wasting $$ if the hardware is limited. also any reported issues of SanDisk cards with Xperia since the internet is full of micro sd card issues with galaxy range of samsung.
thanks
Nope there are no hardware limits that would bottleneck a class 10 card - i can confirm that because class 10 offer notably better transfer rates than class 6 sd cards even on legacy sony devices
thanks, any idea what speeds does XTZ allow
Hey guys,
so I bought this Samsung Micro SDHC Card which has a storage of 32 GB from this link:
http://www.amazon.de/Samsung-microS...te-MB-MPBGCEU/dp/B00AYC6V2U/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t
It clearly states that it's a Micro SDHC Card and when it arrived I was surprised to see that it's a 32Gb Micro SDXC (I thought that SDXC only made sense with 64Gb of memory).
However, I plugged it in my S3 and it worked from the start but then I started to transfer files to it (about 12 gb) from my old Micro SD Card. The speed was ridiculously low, at about 1 MB/s and sometimes even lower. And I was copying big files like videos and also MP3`s where the speed is usually about 10MB/s with my old MicroSDHC Card Class 10. I tried to format it but it wouldn't help.
So then I started to do some research and I couldn't find even 1 picture of the card using Google (Samsung Micro SDXC 32GB UHS I Card), so I'm beginning to think that it's maybe a fraud?
Have you guys seen a card like this or maybe someone even owns one? Would be interesting to know.
Anyhow, I'm gonna write to the seller that I want a new one, since this one is clearly not working as it should.
I have been using a 32GB Class 4 SD card since I got the HAM2 which had a write speed of about 6MB/s. Today, I got a new 64GB U3 SD card with and advertised 90MB/s read speed and 60MB/s write speed, and which I verified through CrystalDiskMark on my laptop. However, I noticed that the read/write speeds of the SD card when used in the phone was not as fast as I was expecting. I did a benchmark test with 'A1 SD Bench' and, indeed, got about 20MB/s for both read and write. I tried the same SD card on my mum's 2014 cheap Samsung phone and got the advertised speed. Is it possible that the HAM2 can only do 20MB/s R/W on SD Card ? BTW, the ran A1 on the internal storage and got R=75MB/s and W=45MB/s, which translates to how fast I feel the phone is.
