System setting issue - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,i just performed a factory reset on my sgs2 , i have hydrogen rom before the reset i could change the transition effects of the menu and the home screen through the rom control settings but after reset the options dont seem to be there. I tried searching but could not find the options anywhere. It is not only the transitions setting some options are also missing like removing the permanent search bar on home screen.
Please help.
Thanks in advance

Try reflashing the rom? I'm sure its easier and faster than finding how to push it to the phone.

Usually the transition effects are under the launcher settings. I don't know which launcher you are using. I use apex launcher and here are my transition effects:

Wow I had this on my old SE C510 phone. Same UI but I doubt it will work OK in gingerbread ROM's cuz of the laggy sensor. Cool share though.

I'm looking more for a 'How to' so that I can do it myself for this and any future roms
In the rom I'm currently using I can go into settings/personal/toggle settings/customise toggles & choose which 11 toggles I want in my pulldown toggle panel.
Might find similar in other roms.

If you talk about the "washed out" part on the right side, it comes from the ripple effect
Just go to lockscreen settings and disable it
Yep.Same problem here.Just check it.

Anyone?
Its not the language selector as I've tried that.
Is there a file somewhere I can edit?
Sent from my GT-I9300
Ask in the roms forum they know the settings ??
Learn Polish?
Just app menu is in Polish? Look in to the ROM thread if someone has the same problem if not, try flash ROM again with Full wipe.

No. If you see the screen grab, look top left. It should say Applications and Widgets.
I was hoping there would be a file somewhere I could edit but after searching I can't find anything.
I've flashed twice so am inclined to think its the ROM.
Everything else is in English and its set as my language.

Have you checked the wallpaper setting. It looks like you have sliding wallpaper set by default. Hope this helps
