Yes they will replace it. they have great customer service. Call them, the process is very simple and hassle free. Best part is you don't have to sent anything back to them.
Otterbox has great customer service...
If you bought from Sprint, Sprint will replace no questions asked or they have always for me.
Sprint has one year warranty on all accessories.

They replaced mine. Just go to the Otterbox website and initiate a warranty repair. They'll then ask you for pictures of the clip with your name and today's date. It's all hassle free without even speaking to an agent.

Back in the day when the first EVO 4G came out, I had the kickstand break on three of my Otterbox Defenders. It was replaced that many times c/o Otterbox.

Sorry but most of us don't have our minds in the ghetto and people with your thinking will quickly make a company like Otterbox reassess their customer service. Maybe next time you break your clip they wont be so quick to replace it.

All I was doing was stating their customer service is kinda crazy for not asking for a receipt. I wouldn't do it I just like to think outside the box and at a business point of view. Believe me I financially don't need to pinch pennies and screw companies.

I work for sprint! If you got it from a corp store then you can take the broken part into any corp store and they will replace it for free don't even need the box only the broken parts... Good for one year in store hope this helps

Only thing I wish I didn't do was tell them my case was black. I originaly wanted the blue case but they only had black at best buy. They did not ask for a picture of the case just the broken clip so I could have been rockin a blue hard shell with a black silicon outer but I'm happy regardless.

Just thought I would share. My local Sprint Store has EVO 3d's and is selling them now, you have to ask though.
They also have both OtterBox's in stock. The prices might make you sweat, but they have them.

Mine confirmed the otterbox commuter to me today on the phone.
They sold me 2 Defender cases, without any trouble at all. They actually walked to the back and got 2 for me.
The Defenders should hold me over until I get a tough case like Ballistic or Trident.

The otterbox defenders usually run $50 retail. This is true no matter what phone it is for. I am thinking the EVO 3d otterbox will be no different.

They do not have the kickstand cases. They have the 2 Otterbox cases, the car charger (obviously) and they also had the window mount.
Call me a retard but how do you pry the plastic case open? I put the phone in after getting it open somehow, now I noticed the screen is dirty and needs to be wiped. I cant open this beast.
Edit: Ok got it figured out. You have to pry open the tabs on the side to open it up. Now that its all situated, all i can say is this thing is a beast. Very happy especially since I got it for $40 using my USPS discount. =)

Just called my store, they are going to call me back. They said they do indeed have them, they just need to check and see if the sku's are all good to go and if they can sell them. Someone is pulling your leg because if it is a corporate store, they should have them on launch.
I just walked into my Sprint store, told them I was told they have the Otterbox cases for the Evo 3D, the guy said yes, went in the back, and brought one out for me. I think all stores have them and its a matter of speaking to the right person.
so like everyone else I also got the free blue silicone cell phone case for my LTevo in the mail shortly after getting my LTevo. I put it on my phone the day i got it and have not taken it off until today. I noticed when i took it off the silicone gel case made the back plastic part of the phone VERY rough, almost sticky. has anyone else had an issue with this???

I've been using the blue silicone case since I got it and it has not caused this issue for me. Sorry. You could try going to Sprint and swapping it for the gray Body Glove case the were also sending people.

sounds like there might be some release agent still stuck on the case, wash the thing with warm soapy water and it shouldn't do that anymore.

My brother got one, quite frankly I'm glad I didnt get that version..
I got a gray hard case with a built in kick stand, it if actually pretty nice. The kick stand allows you to stand the phone up 3 ways. I am very pleased with sprint for this, something they didn't have to do they did..that means allot in the days of companies like Verizon charging 300+ for their newest cell phones just because people will pay for it. Sprint only charged $200 then something unexpected happened and they sent their customers a case for the troubles .. That just shows how much they care about taking care of customers.

I got it from Best Buy so I'm sure they won't take it back. Ima call Otterbox to see what they could do for me. I like putting the clip on my car's sun visor. Its not something I would wear anyways.

Any accessories you buy from sprint they will swap out for you as long as they still stock it. I bought my otterbox and my LG Bluetooth headset from a corporate store and two different sales reps said the same thing. I'm willing to pay a little extra for warranty convenience.

Since I dropped my phone (accidently) a tiny bit of the paint has been chipped away revelaing the metal on the front housing. Now instead of wanting a replacement. I'm thinking of sanding it for the brushed metal look. like on the desire HD

I saw somebody to that to their 3D and honestly, it looked terrible. All the little bevels would be hard to match with the rest.

i might try it when i get my upgrade later this year, screen protector and mask the rest of the things up with very thin masking tape i can buy....that way if i mess something up i'll claim a new one from insurance but i'll still have my new phone =P the front is actually glued on the screen according to tear downs on the internet

Mine did the same thing. I filled out the support form on their website. They emailed me asking me to send them a picture of the affected area of the case on a sheet of paper with todays date. I emailed it to them the picture. About an hour later I had an email stating that my new unit would be shipped out soon and that I would receive a tracking number. I am still waiting on the tracking number but so far I am impressed.
Otterbox will replace any of their products no questions asked usually. Takes about 5 days for me usually.

Yeah that's why I had mine replaced. According to the guy at my local sprint store, they'll replace any accessories for free for as long as they carry them in the store. Ymmv.

I've taken a broken otterbox back to best buy 3 times since July. Also forgot to bring the holster back a couple times so I have 2 extra lying around if anyone needs a spare. Just pay shipping.
Another thing that can, but shouldn't be abused. If u take a pic of your broken case then otterbox sends u a new one. Well, u can take the broken one back to store w receipt and get money back. So, in the end free otterbox, profit?
Just got my Otterbox tracking info yesterday afternoon. Hasn't shipped yet, but at least I know it coming.
I'm looking forward to having my belt clip again, the case alone is really....clunky.
