Can I ask making navigationbar? - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

soft key~
onscreen key~
navigation key~~
what ever.
I try to decompile and compile framework-res.apk, but apktool, apkmanager don't obey me!!!!
I have tried that 2 hours but failed.
So I ask you.....
Please make navigation bar in xperia S.
ps.Does Anyone know about disabling hardwarekey(menu, home, back) for using navigation key conviniently?

I have something almost done for AOKP. You can try it when it's released, Zaph did some great navbar stuff.

Last update (project killed) *****
Here are the last screenshots, i will never release it, theres an other and 100% better galaxy Tw theme on the way, sorry.
Update**** Good the awesome kevin help'd me with it and allowed me to use motoblur as template,
Buttons and check boxes n such are from elegant steel (a light blue)
The based and coded theme is motoblur, the notification icons n stuff are from an mdpi version of the touchwiz/samsung framework, as you can see there are still alot of issus which i need kevin to help me with =3 Lol, and sorry this is the last time i promise anyone here anything D:! god i didn't know that it was that hard :/,.
Update*** I'm still working on it! i got it to work! partly! i promise it will be perfect and up soon!
EDIT* I've started it from a fresh template (Pulled cyanbread) and it will take some time, it should be done in a hour (almost perfect theme ;3) hope you guys can wait for that :c!
EDIT**Guys this **** sucks! i suck -.-',.. no really i got it to work but i had to use kevin's elegant steel as template.. theres alot of **** we don't need there, i can't add it here because idk if others can use files i signed,
so until now nothing.. the theme is working statusbar n icons n **** looks good but i need a clean template and all them i can get here give me "Application not installed" and yes i got tired,.. **** it i look at it tomorrow
Good night.

[Q]Transparent Settings app

Heeey this is a question to all the theme creators and dev's
Is it possible to create a Settings app with a transparent background?
I saw this on a thread for the Galaxy tab http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1051807 and I'd like to know if its possible to create a modded settings app for our galaxy 3
(I know they explain it on that thread but I was searching in the settings.apk but couldn't find the specific XML )
common +80 vieuws but no reply!?
Its just a question if there is someone that can mod the settings apk
or just tell me if it's even possible is it to hard to say Yes or Now
Yes it is possible but I have totally no knowledge about this so it can't be done by me...

[MOD]UPDATED! Galaxy Nexus on-screen buttons for MiniCM9

I decided to make onscreen buttons for our luvly x8-s.
Note that it only works with MiniCM9-3.0.0, other ICS roms will be supperted soon.
It works now, ready to try DON'T FORGET TO HIT THANKS TO amieow98!! (You can also thank me!)
Screenshot
Changelog:
V0: Conception that didn't really worked.
V1: Works, credits to amieow98.
V2: Now for MiniCM9 3.0.1 too! 2012/5/2
I have enabled on-screen buttons on my MiniCM9(With blue color)
Why do you say its experimental? it is included in the ROM and as far as i've used mine No problems at all.
What? HOW?
So i didn't supposed to mod the framework and work on it for a while??? SH!T.. But IS it really already included in Minicm9-3.0.0?

It IS already included in MiniCM9-3.0.0.
Just change a line of code and done...
But of course..I notice that on the lockscreen(with on-screen buttons enabled)
there is a black bar covering a small part of the lockscreen (The on-screen button one but there's no touchable buttons)
I guess you can try to fix that?

I am VERY sure I'm using MiniCM9.
I googled how to enable the on-screen buttons.Followed the instructions and stuff.
I decompiled framework-res.apk and went into /res/values/bools.xml
and changed a line of code from this:
<bool name="config_showNavigationBar">false</bool>
To this:
<bool name="config_showNavigationBar">true</bool>
pushed it.boot. There you go,Easy on-screen buttons for you.
Then I changed the color of the buttons.(Images in SystemUI.apk)
why anyone would sacrifice precious screen space to put virtual buttons when there are physical ones are beyond me...
then again... whatever makes u happy i guess
nice find btw

Apps to control de LED bar

LED Tester, this is useful to show of the most attractive design element of the SP: The light bar. I'm glad it works on Jelly Bean, it didn't work on my MK16 running ICS. http://tinyurl.com/kojxmbx
Light Flow works great with the SP, has a ton of configurations for every contact you have. Paid version: http://tinyurl.com/cmm2ar4
Please post any other useful app :good:
(Sorry for the "de", please someone edit the thread)
The best is illumination bar pro I think.

"If this phone is not a Xperia U then LUC will not probably not work" It's just a popup at the bottom of the screen, the app is never really opened.
How are we suppose to overstep that ? Is LUC.radar mandatory for testing ?

[to Devs][XU] Time to develop fully working LED bar

God XDA DEVELOPERS done amazing things. Finally you ported JB to Xperia U. But I kindly request top developers to make fully working illumination bar for custom ROMs. You can make kernels, port custom roms, modding, you can do anything. But why not for LED bar? If anyone try it, you can do. Please do it
Thanks!

I really didn't program nothing, I only tried a mix of libs to fix illumination and a mod of phantom kernel with munjeni white CWM (because in every ramdisk for XU there are links to AS3677 drivers but in XU we have AS3676, check/sys/bus/i2c/drivers folder), it worked and I exported those libraries in my rom but after flashing my updated rom it didn't worked and I didn't create any backup, I don't wanna fool nobody, the only thing I can say is that it can work like ics and it bothers me that every rom releaser writes that it will never work like in ics because it can work a day.

The files involved are
Code:
/system/SemcIllumination.apk
/system/bin/illumination_service
/system/framework/com.sonyericsson.illumination.jar
/system/lib/liblights-core.so
/system/lib/liblightsJni.so
/system/lib/hw/lights.st-ericsson.so
When they match they properly write:
Code:
/data/light_teme
^-everytime you change theme it is updated with new color
Code:
/data/lightservice.soc
^- illumination service
Unfortunately I tried a lot of files from fixes and roms but I hope devs soon will solve illumination bar
