[Q] Wimax file locations

Does anyone know where all the wimax files are located?
I have found 1 in system/lib
I am sure there has to be more.
Thanks in advance.

I found 3 more in system/bin
I hope thats all of them
Sent from my MB855 using xda premium
What do you need them for?
I am going to unlock my bootloader then adb push them back to there locations to see if that retains 4g after unlock. Want to make sure i have them all backed up. Its a long shot but worth a try.

Keep us posted and let us know how it works out for you.
Nice!!

I just unlocked. Going to push the files shortly. Then i have to drive 10miles to 4g area. Will post back.

Tried it. My 4g wont turn on at all. I think something happened when i restored my titanium backup. I think this because it came on after unlocking then after my titanium backup restore it wont come on at all now. I will keep working on it.

Sweet Man. You create a restore in CWM to bipass the Titanium Backup issue?

That it was. Thanks for trying Man.

From what I have between told, the unlocked bootloader doesn't pass the Wimax keys properly to the system. If that's the case, nothing you change on the ROM side of things will make a difference.

Got a question about bootloader unlock.

Hey every one. My laptop and desktop decided to crap out at the same time. So I was wondering if there is a way for me to unlock the photon via the hd dock or via the phone without needing a pc. I'm already rooted but it seems pointless to have root if I can't even flash roms. On my Evo 4g I was a flashaholic. So please any insight would be greatly apreciated.

You can root it from just the phone, but to my knowledge you cant unlock. I could be mistaken though.

no, cause you need to sbf the derpunklock.sbf and then you still need to issue the unlock commands thru commands prompt(moto-fastboot unlock)

Charging problem

So I unfortunately ended up with the charging bug.
When I put my phone In the wall charger it doesnt want to charge. The charging indicators all turn on but I still lose battery.
I've tested the cord and charger on my friends phone and they work. I've also put in a different battery with the same result. Also booted into safe mode.
Help?

Have u installed any app after which this prblm started?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Replace the phone?
I've never had that problem, so have no clue. But if rebooting and pulling the barry doesn't do it, I'd take it to sprint.
What's the rating of charger u are using?
Sent from my MB855 using xda app-developers app
Stock charger my friend.
No apps because it started on the aokp job build 8. I switched back to stick rom but even that didn't help

Try to reset the phone...

Yes I think u r right but you see, we guys are not professional or experts. So we can only suggest some possible solution my friend.
And if someone is in trouble, these possibilities can lead him/her to the solution of the problem..
I hope u understand...

I would try reverting back to stock, and if that doesn't work, then i would get a replacement. Sounds like a hardware issue.

You get get odin mobile but it's pricy I think
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
That requires root to use.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
you need a pc to be able to root this phone unfortunately
maybe go to a friends and do it quickly, doesnt take to long
I figured. Always good to ask though. The last phone i had was pre-rooted and rom'd so that made things easy. (it was a skyrocket i got from someone from craigslist)

I rooted using exynose abuse app which gave me superuser and root and then installed too manager flashed recovery with that been flashing ever since don't own a laptop anymore unless my wife decides to come back home lol

Help with Odin! Please!

Up until tonight I have never had an issue with Odin..
But for some reason Odin will not recognize my Verizon galaxy note 2. I have tried troubleshooting and had no luck.
Then I tried to plug in my GS3 and Odin would not recognize that either..
How do I fix this?
Thanks to all in advance!

Plug in your phone and go into the device manager. Delete the driver and unplug your phone. Download a fresh new driver from Samsung and install it. Restart your computer and connect your phone. Should work now, don't have a note to test but that usually fixes anything driver related which is most definitely your case. That or you need a new cable.
Edit, I just re-read the post and you probably need a new cable. Sometimes cables will still charge a phone but not carry data. Make sure you get a good one and try it again.

Problem solved... through trial and error I found out that I have to:
1. Open Odin
2. Put my phone into Odin mode
3. Connect phone to PC.
4. The comport then populated.
Problem solved!
