Evening,
I've been looking for an app that I saw posted up on XDA before I actually got my S3. It was an app that would run when the phone is off and in Charge mode. It showed a Clock and I THINKK, the weather, not 100% sure.
I've been looking for it for the last week and Google, neither the XDA search had shown me anything, im properly searching the wrong keywords.
Any help would be appreciated, im sure I saw it in an S3 thread but i've tried looking though them all.
Thanks, Mason.

Thank you Ziggy! An awesome tool, should had bookmarked it when I had the chance. Will install now, it should be standard on a few ROM's though i'm yet to see it anywhere else.
Thanks again.

edit: seems to have fixed my issue with weather bug too.
Is there any way to remove the fake icon from status bar though, that's really annoying.
Thanks again
Install Facebook 1.5.2 it doesn't need GPS to work. Its an old version but atleast you won't need an extra app or the ugly icon in ur status bar.

Not trying to be a **** here, but seriously, its not like it was just mentioned briefly, its ALL over the place. I mean holy crap.

x1 freaking billion. Wtf, take TWO seconds and search people!!
I did search. I used the "search this forum" at the top. Two results came up, this thread and another just like it, without any information on how to make it work. I'm not going to search for hours in detailed advanced searches and read every post in an "issues" thread. If the search cannot find it, then I ask about making it work.
Certainly no-one held a gun to your head and made you come in here to read it.....
Just use the website. It works great as it actually is more usable thanks to its tablet formatting.
The newest version of the facebook app for Android looks like the old one for the iPhone right?
If you look in Development there is one that has a nicer icon.

EDIT... Just noticed your other thread asking the same thing. So I can understand the posts you got here, but since that was also one of the threads where I thought the answer was, your search for qualified assistance may require a bit more effort and politeness on your part, even if others are being rude.
Honestly, if you do a search and read a bit, like the forum rules say to do, before posting, you will find that this has been asked and well answered in another thread where name calling wasn't resorted to. Sorry I don't remember the answer, but I think it was just like flashing any other tab. Don't take that as a legit answer though because my memory fails often. I do know I have seen this asked and answered several other times though.
So for the best results do a search. Really, it works.

Misledz is often a great help. Good to see him post for you cause usually if it can be fixed, it gets fixed with his help. He's who I'd want helping me.
I know how frustrating searching for an answer can be sometimes, so now it's just a matter of patience as we're all in different time zones.
Best of luck... sorry I can't help you myself but my limited knowledge of anything not standard is still too limited.

Why thank you good sir Benz
Then again, recovery mode has always been the straightforward thing to do, it's just timing, I did a little research on I/O edition to check for differences and it seems there is not much that's different, the recovery kickup is the same, Vol Down+ Power {When the device is off}, Then again, you shouldn't have USB plugged in when you do it as it conflicts with the key combo.
The thread I linked you describes the same method for kicking it into recovery, he is also an owner of an I/O series, I wish I had one to make it easier but sadly I can't see where your issue lies, but I am willing to stick by till you get this done right, Hope that helps.
Fitz
Thank u guys I really appreciate it..I tried the power + volume key with/without USB plugged in and all that pops up is the downloading mode and USB icon..like I said I've had many Samsung phones and never had a problem lol but I'll update u guys n thanks for the support

I have the same tablet and used the same process as the regular tab and worked just fine for me running CM9 right now

Why cant i update via kies? It says my device does not support it.
I'm a noob, so please understand... xD
ok.....so i was being nice in your other thread.....
first of all, remove the ?signature? you have there.... calling yourself a noob does not excuse you from searching
which leads me to the second point.....
you agreed to a set of rules when you signed up to become a member of these forums...you should re-read those rules before you create another thread....
I have been searching and it keeps saying no results. I was just hoping someone had the same issue and found an answeer.

You both need to tone down a bit, please.
Generally speaking, do search in the thread first, say you're running AOKP ROM, then search within that AOKP thread for answer first. If generic issue like OP stated, search within this forum, i777. Then expand the search to XDA site and finally Google.
To OP, my suggestion, pls do provide more info if you want more useful help.
Saying "why kies stop working on my device" getting you nowhere since we don't know which ROM you're on, what made you say so, ......

It's too late but once again, for other readers, pls stop using zedomax thingy, seriously.
When you said "it doesn't work", how so?
+ Can't connect to PC? or
+ successfully connected but not getting the update?
Each person, each case is different.
P.S. "i have another post with a-lot more information on what is happening" is totally useless, next time post related info within the OP. No one will search your "another post" for info.
Thanks for the heads up. I cand do everything normally, but it says your device does not support updating via kies. I want sure if it was csc settings or what.

A while back I saw a nice website that was nothing but really nice ios/android homepages and lockscreens.
Does anyone have any idea what it might be?
Sorry, I know it's a bit of a vague question.
