Hello,
I have a problem :
I've changed a battery and installed MiniCM9 (and others too) and each time I turn the phone on it says Powering OFF.Unplugging battery gets phone booted up (with charger), as soon as I plug the battery in it shuts off.
SOMEONE HELP !

Post your issue in the Q&A section of the thread, this is accessories, maybe you will get a solution there.
Look,I think that if you have posted your question in the Xperia Mini (or Xperia Mini Pro if there is a seperate forum) they could help you better, because Xperia Minis & Xperia Mini Pros come with Android 2.3.4 while X10 Minis/X10 Mini Pros come with Android 2.1.1.
That's the only thing I can tell to help you,I'm sure that other Xperia Mini Pro (not X10!!) have encountered the same problem as you and have found a solution.Check Xperia Mini Q&A or Xperia Mini Pro Q&A (If such a section exists)
I hope 'ya get your problem solved.
Thing is, miniCM9 shouldn't even start booting on the 2011 line. should just be stuck on the kernel screen so I'm not too certain what's happening. try getting a logcat

If you two had watched his video, he's definitely got a X10Mini in there, it's not unusual for people to have two phones, or play with a friend's phone.

I didn't say he diidn't have a X10MP, In fact I always thought he did. Still, try a logcat. gives us some idea

LOGCAT
I/UsageStats( 1803): Unexpected resume of android while already resumed in android
That seems to be where the shutdown starts. Anyone got any ideas what on earth this means?

Hi I'm new here..and look for some help...
The external sound of my x10 mini doesn't work any more. Last night it was working perfect. The last thing I used in it was the headset and today the external sound is not working.
Does anyone know what might have happened?
i'm having the same problem..just happened tonight
I think that is some problem with hardware (speakers) ou maybe with the system.. I hope that some expert guy we find some solution for that.. If not I we send my to technical assistance under warranty.

Reinstall the firmware
Sent from my E10i using XDA App
Mine kept switching to silent automatically on every call, reflashed firmware and alls great again.
I found the problem... Just open the back take out 5 screws and check the speaker and put back again.. and tada!!!! it works again....
Nice to see that sony havent bothered there arse about sorting the in call volume problem with the X10 , i have both the galaxy s and the X10 and personally prefer the X10 over the Galaxy but i think ill lose the X10 now that this sound issue is obviously not priority for sony !! .
Its a real shame as its totally spoilt an otherwise fantastic phone , i mean phones do many things now but if they cant function as a telephone with aplomb then whats the point .
The In Call Problems are solved on my X10 since i have 2.1
I have 2.1 also and so do many others on here but the incall volume issue is not solved , many people have reported no improvement at all since 2.1 and the rep from ericsson who i spoke to said he was unaware of any fix in 2.1 for this issue , but they are working on it !!!!! YEAH
when i first bought my phone - x10 mini pro - i pressed the power button after awhile i felt the vibration - the only time i did - and at once updated it to android 2.1 os from that time the vibration never worked
i tried other roms but didn't work however i didn't try downgrading
any help on that ??
Also have this problem, always have since I updated my mini pro to 2.1

Try sending to SE, maybe it's a Hardware problem.
I can't as I'm not under warranty and don't want to pay far too much for a trivial problem, was just wondering if its any sort of software related problem

Try flash and install 1.6. If the vibration still doesn't work, it's a hardware problem.
I am using hdmi to vga connector. When it connect to phone it will detect hdmi connection and start tv launcher but next moment it will be disconnected automatically. This process is continuing like loop.
But I used it successfully in a Acro S.Is there any method to make it work by any kind of phone os modification or something like that???
Mine is Xperia P stock(6.2.A.1.100).I also tried it in 3 xperia Ps(both in ICS & JB) ,same problem. Can we port any setting from Acro S to make it work???

You are not the dirst to report this I have seen several others, with and without converter.
I have no idea why, for me it works with my Dell monitor, for others it works with TV but some have this problem.
Not see one that was resolved.
my bad luck..:crying: I lost some money also for the converter....really disappointed..my friend is enjoying movies on big screen while work at office with the same product and my phone is useless.
I tend to believe most times it's compatibility issue with the devices (phone and screen/tv), and with a converter it may be even worse.
Did you try with more than one screen/tv, maybe there's a problem with the HDMI cable?

Sorry to say , it may be your electricity environment problem. I have the same issue but only at my workplace, it is fine at home.
it's poor earthing from either the charger or the plug socket/house electrics. my Android tablet does it because they cleverly forgot the earth point on the actual port on the unit when making it.
