You need to provide a little more information... what did you delete exactly?
did you delete the market apk or did you have issues trying to install apks from the market?

If you google "android market apk" you will find many links to download the market. Put this on your SD card and install it.
As far as the backup, Google will backup your settings, including what was installed and will restore upon a factory wipe/reconfigure of your handset (google account).
I also use appbrain - will show you what you have installed and you can easily re-install apps on a new phone.

thanks a lot i downloaded that android market apk and its ok
I also had the same problem, thanks for the help!
I got a Sony Xperia U and downloaded a couple of apps and games, but when I download the apk then copy the sd data into the appropriate directory (I only have an adsl connection), the game still asks to download the additional data. This even happens when I let the apk download and create the directory.
I manually flashed my Xperia to Android 2.3.7 but my phone is still unrooted.
Is there anything that I'm doing wrong or is there a problem with my software version?
Does the application (game in your case) even saves on your SD card after it says the download has completed?
Hello,
I am trying to install a lite mod of the apps Gmail and Google. I got an apk from a trusted site (but I cannot link because the site contains copyrighted content) but when I tried to install as an apk I got a problem parsing error. I am rooted on Android 5.0.1 if that helps. I then tried to make the preinstalled Gmail and Google system apps (the Google one was under the codename velvet folder) convert to user apps, but the apps corrupted. Then, after that failed, I tried to place the apks with correct permissions in the system/priv-app folder but they both did not appear on reboot.
Please help thanks!
Bump
I have used share it to transfer files and apk from phone to laptop etc. I want to know where do apps installed via google playstore get stored. Meaning the apk file of the app installed , where can it be found.
I have many times seen the option of transferring apk from phone to laptop when I use share it
on the phone.
So my curiosity is where are these apk's downloaded when I have installed an app from playstore .
/data/user/...
APK: /data/app/
Data: /data/data/
