Is there a patched hboot compatible with 2.25? I see a 2.11 and 2.21, as well as the ENG hboot for GB but nothing for 2.25. Anybody?
I guess a better question is, what will happen if I use a 2.21 JuopunutBear hboot after running the latest ruu?

All good.
Btw since nobody said and just to be clear. If you use the older juopunutbear hboot on the latest leaknothing changes... Won't mess up your phone, everything will work fine. I've been doing that myself.

the difference between eng hboot and ship hboot? I need to unroot and s-on but i dont know if i have the eng hboot
It's a good idea to just use the latest RUU before unrooting, that way you know for sure everything is how it needs to be.

The easiest way I can think of would be to compare the version numbers it shows at the top of the bootloader screen.
The second way which comes to mind would be to examine the type of information it dumps from certain commands. This is probably a less than ideal approach.

I currently have the eng h-boot I ran revolutionary many months ago and then flash the eng h-boot. My question is this can I flash back to the revolutionary h-boot without running revolutionary and will I lose s-off? I tried searching but I'm on the xda app and could not find what I was looking for. Thank you in advance for any help

I don't know about getting back to the revolutionary hboot, but you can get back to the hboot that's almost the exact same as revolutionary, hboot1.4, by flashing a pg86img.zip through your bootloader. If you haven't had any issues with the ENG bootloader, there's no reason to need to change it though. It's up to you.
here's a link to both the hboot1.4 and eng hboot (just choose the one you want to download, both of them are in first post) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192306
Easy question but I'm having trouble finding the answer. What is the most up to date radio? And how might I update it?
Thanks for your help.
Mean Rom 4.4
S-On
HBoot 1.15
Radio 1.05.11.0606
The newest radio is 1.12.0809. However per instructions you must be s-off or hboot 1.12.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

You're right...in order for him to update he must relock and use the most recent ruu...only thing is that will also put him on hboot 1.19...but that's the only way an s-on phone can update firmware and radio.

So my question is what's the difference between HBoot 1.12, 1.15, and 1.19. I see a bunch of people downgrading to 1.12 from 1.19.
I currently have 1.12 S-On and am looking to change it to S-Off cause it's a lot easier to change ROMs around, I was wondering if I should bother upgrading as well or...?
Thanks!

If you have 1.12 do not update your hboot. You can and should run lazy panda to obtain s-off.

According to their site, Lazy Panda is no longer supported. Now you have to RUU to upgrade your Hboot and use Dirty Racun to gain S-off. With Hboot 1.12 you can flash radio updates through recovery, whereas the newer Hboots you can't, at least without gaining S-off first. Also, with Hboot 1.12 you don't have to flash the kernel separately from the ROM. Those are the main differences as I understand it.

Captain_Throwback usually makes a recovery flashable zip for radios he just got back from vacation so it should be soon
Does anyone have a link to where I can find the RUU for ICS 2.13.651.1? I am still running that on my LTEvo and I need to bring it back to stock (S-On and all) so Sprint will look at it. (They already told me they saw it was rooted and unlocked so they wont run the diagnosis software on it) I don't want to update it to JellyBean.

The RUU will update your Hboot version.
If you are S-off, running the RUU won't change it to S-on. There are some other tools available to change S-off back to S-on, though.
Check out the link in my sig for an explanation of the different Hboots.
