Mean time you guys should try XDARK ICS ROM really smooth fast and touchpads work. I highly recommend it. But I have feelling that this rom, jjkkyu's rom, and XDARK is gonna be our stable ICS BETAS

this is not a ICS Beta rom, this is a final Port from the latest Xperia Neo ICS Firmware.
I'm gonna try xDark and then this one I'll let you know what I think when I do

Problem, I flashed the New game launcher but I don't see it in the App drawer, and yes I did open it before I restarted and flashed... mm its not essential but its nice, Anyway thanks, Thats the only issue I've really run into as of yet.

I also meant to ask what option must I choose to restore my apps in CWM. I really don't know. I think it's "Restore /data" But last time I did that, My phone hung

Hello all XDA-developers, this is a IceCreamSandwich port for Xperia X8 that i and Kopbem37 have made.
This rom doesnt require any customkernel and we are going to try to port all missing features in Troufinous Ice Cream Sandwich rom for stockkernel.
It works on other kernels too, but the main reason for creating this rom was to provide a Ice Cream Sandwich rom for Stockusers
This rom is not recommended for daily use yet, but we are working to fix all the errors, if you want to contribute with a fix or something else please send me a personal message.

Try to run X8 Toolbox and install Dualrecovery and odex the rom
The rom is very slow

The 3D works bad and you will only get 627 points in antutu but we are working on a fix for 3d

We have been using modules from other roms suchs as Gingerbread roms and we have compiled some things with fxps drivers.
would be great if this worked on alfs....but gonna try it on stock when everything is fixed. plus if you have spare time you can try helping paul with his rom. here

The Rom iitself is 2.3.7 but has ICS User interface and xperia S features. Try enabling software rendering btw. Also what have you got to lose? Backup your current system and If you don't like this then restore.

There is a brilliant speed and if you want a little more of a push if your using demanding apps like a n64 emulator you can overclock but it isn't needed. The gamepad and touchpad work in everything I've tested.

Rom is actual 2.3.7 built and modeled with ICS and Xperia S UI and features. Not a theme, includes system apps and such. Keep in mind this is only a Lite version the heavy version is still to come.

This rom is not made by me, its by some portugese developer named galerinha, its been made of several ICS parts compiled to make this rom. I thought i'l upload it seeing as this rom has not been recognised in Xperia MDPI Roms, but if it has then cool. So all credit to The developer!
I have also added in my own personal tweaks which decrease lag and to increase game perfomance.

*Instructions*
-Unzip file and place in /clockworkmod
-Flash recommended kernel
-Reboot into CWM
-Wipe Data/Cache/Dalvik
-Backup and restore --> restore rom
-Let it settle for 5 mins after reboot

ROM install failed..
Hi,
I was bit interested with your ROM and tried to install it with Radeon v4 on my LWW. After following your all steps including wipe data/cache/dalvic.
But once i restart my phone i got the sony logo and just keep flashing there and not loading into the ROM. Please help?

i suggest you to use CM 10.1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2346101) for MIUI V5
it has some bugs in bluetooth and nfc and fm radio . but i dont want thats ...

ok tried this earlier this morning but I had to drop it.
I have mtz themes locally but it didn't install and deepsleep doesn't work for me. By default the dial pad on phone has russian text. 90+ RAM at first install.
I have to leave it there I haven't test much. Thanks btw for the rom.

As simple as all roms but I would recommend clean install bro ..
1)Install latest stock let it boot
2)Fast boot latest CM10 kernel
3)Wipe factory reset
4)Wipe cache & delvick cache
5)Wipe system
6)Install latest CM10 ROM
7)Repeat 3,4
8) Enjoi

A nice, really good rom. Smooth as a rom really should be, not like all stock crappy based rom out there. Well done, that's a good work.
Only a couple of fix that makes this rom really perfect.
- Multilanguage: Yeah, it could be the gratest feature out of there, cause atm there's no eu language exept for english. If you want to, you can take this translations: http://en.miui.com/download.html
- RAM: Optionally add a zRam or Ramdisk support on the go, like CyanogenMod "Performance" menu, is a really freaking awesome feature.
- Fix deepsleep for other themes: It's important to have a good battery even with other themes than the stock one.
- DSP Manager: you can make an aroma script with this little addition, cause DSP manager is the best equalizer out here.
- Dialer: Partial russian, even you select english.
These are not easy fix, i now, but I hope to see this rom updated with this things.
Anyway, thank you very much for your work, keep it up!

How do i restore my data in this CM based rom? I normally backup restore my data using stock backuprestore.apk but in cm based rom the app fc.

Hello, you could try titanium backup and do it that way i think. I did it and it worked. Its very quick as well.

This rom is optimize for game,so if u install apps like facebook the phone will have lags after a while
If u want facebook get into from browser,dont download apps that eat ram,u will lost the point

Try to update Superuser,When u finish with boot
Open Superuser then swipe and check for updates

doomkernel is a little bit outdated and lupus 12.5 is faster than doomkernel and it has 600mg data too

At first, some of the apps could not be downloaded or missing from the Play Store but after I reboot, it resolved the issue. I will report any other bugs I encountered. BTW, love the looks of this ROM especially the notification bar
