hey guys i really want to make customs mods and roms. there is one problem i don't know where to start. can anyone point me in the right direction of how/what to do first? i have htc evo 4g lte. if that helps at all.

yeah i wanna load a different rom. you need to run super wipe before doing so right?

What other rom would you want to flash? There's only like... lemme count.... two (QuikSense and BeastMod).
But to answer your question, just wipe by recovery if the rom doesn't do it for you.
In most cases you don't need to wipe anyway.

Look around in the Original Android Development forum for us. There is a GSM patch. Not sure exactly where, but its out there somewhere

I'm newbie to android rooting. I recently rooted to android 4.0.3 using the Stock Deodex ROM and followed the instructions at hZZp://androidforums.Zom/cdma-evo-3d-all-things-root/494212-complete-newbies-guide-rooting-flashing-evo-3d-roms-kernels-using-fastboot.html
My question how I disable the camera shutter sound on my htc evo 3d 4g? It is very annoying when I'm using Google translate app with camera snap feature.
I saw there was a thread about "CamMod v3/MusicMod v3 |Sense 3.6|3.28b" but I have no idea how to install it. I can't post in the cammod thread b/c I'm very newbie.
