I found a similar post, but it was refering to a Tablet device and I am having this issue on my Samsung Galaxy S2,
Recently, I have lost some apps. So far about 4 in total. I would use it, then the next time I go to use it,a day later, or a few hours, it appears ghosted out and if I touch it, it would say, "you do not have this app installed". I didn't move it to my memory card either. I would have to re-download it again, and my files are still there after the re-install.
Does any one else have this issue?
Does any one know why this is happening?
Some Examples of apps are: Google Wallet, Angry Birds RIO and I can't remember the others..
Are you using stock rom? Any mods at all?

Everything is Stock...I haven't Rooted or done anything to the phone yet. I only got it almost 2 weeks ago...or so. When it came out Oct. 12th....
so theres an app I want to buy, on Google play but I can't. It says purchased, prompts me to install, but when I do, it tells me it can't be downloaded because I haven't purchased it.
IIRC about a year ago, I tried it out and I wasn't satisfied, but I saw it on a friends phone yesterday and it looked great, so I wanted to give it another try.
How do I actually get the app? I don't want to be forced to obtain it in a less legal manner.......

Try clearing market data and cache. A reboot might need to be done as well. Also make sure that your phone is at normal dpi before you start. Good luck!
Absolution 3.7/Redemption ICS A2b1
Thanks for the tips but they didn't work :/
Its also says "install" instead of purchase on the play store online... any ideas what to do?
Is there a reason why in the market apps that I have already bought have a price tag on them again? Normally it says purchased, but now it shows the price, and when I click to buy them, it says error. Any ideas why?

I'm also getting the same error, don't know why.
It sucks cause Im always changing Roms and I cleaned out my SD card which deleted all my backups and things from titanium, and now I can't seem to get my paid apps and I have a lot of them, I can buy new ones, just can't retrieve my old ones lol. This blows.
Sent from my HTC Amaze 4G using XDA
IF you already paid for the aps there should be a reciept in the google acc't associated with your phone/market. Just contact the developer, there shoul;dnt be any reason why you should have to pay twice, which hopefuly you havn't lol.
I always make a backup of my backups onto my pc, including anything from titanium pro.
probably a glitch or something. I love TB but I also use one of the ap backup aps from market just to be safe, best is the ones that save the apk.
Check your google emails for the reciept then contact the dev of the ap, most times they are cool, although I have run into a few who take their sweet azz time responding.
Backups are great but backups of backups are even better!
GL !
lol it goes through than it gives me back my money, saying order cancelled, and doesn't download the app. But if i want to buy a new app it goes through, just weird. Wanted to see if anyone else had this problem and if they did how to fix it.
settings>applications>play store>clear cache and data
haha, didn't work /:
maybe try installing a new vending.apk through root explorer?
Go to the market website on a computer and install it, doesn't ask for you to pay and it fixes it. Worked for me the other day anyways.

Go to settings and remove all market updates and install Google Play again and it should fix the problem.

I think the market is just acting screwy. Had a golauncher update tonight that I can't update because of an "error 921". Never seen it before until today. New play store is way buggy
Yeah, knew it was Google play...

all of a sudden google wallet started giving me this error Unfortunately, Google Wallet has not yet been certified in your country or on your device / carrier.
This is the first time ive gotten this, ive been stuck on the adding a card and i peroidicly check from time to time to see if it works yet and tonight and i now im getting this.. I have to hit ok and it closes the app.. not sure what i should do, im running fresh rom 5.1.1 and it was working earlier today.. i havent installed any apps or anything like that..
i keep thinking to clear the app data and uninstall the update, but im afraid of breaking my secure element.. Anyone have any ideas?
and sorry for another google wallet thread.. i did try searching but didnt come up with much
I got the same error after a reboot today. I posted in the PSA thread.

Mine has been working fine till this afternoon when i got same message ..
I'm getting the same error, "google wallet has not been certified in your country..."
help here plss
Evidently since Sprint is going to introduce their form of wallet, called "Touch" (I think it was) google probably pulled it from us. That and they couldn't ever get it working for all of us. I got same message tonight too.

Anyone tried anything to fix it? I went into recovery and wiped my cache and dalvik cache. Still getting the same thing..
Just wondering if anyone tried clearing wallet data or uninstalled the update or app..
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
Same thing. I've been fighting with it all day cuz I thought it was because I flashed a custom ROM, but I've even gone back to stock and still getting it.
Interesting. Add this to the google wallet mystery bag. I just loaded up wallet. My app is nice and friendly with me still. I just rebooted a few times about an hour ago too as I did a nandroid(or the twrp equivalent).
I hope that google figures this out because
1. I want to support google and I want them to be successful
2. When iPhone 7 comes out with NFC technology, they will steal the glory and everyone in the cult will be oblivious that android even utilized it first. Google should patent and make an itc suit on it. Hehe.
EDIT/UPDATE
Upon waking up this morning and being paid, I was going to add funds to my google wallet account. I open the app and get the not supported in yuour country message.
I'm glad I at least didn't apply any money to it beforehand where I couldn't use it now.
Bummer.
I wish Google would make an announcement about this.

sigh....i hope a smart company like sprint doesn't make a stupid decision like NOT allowing Google Wallet on their phones. It will be extremely disappointing.
called google wallet, they said there is widespread outages affecting many people. So apparently they need the MEID to research the issue
Thank you for getting in touch with our team. Google Wallet is
temporarily unavailable on your device and our engineering team is working
hard to make sure Google Wallet is working as intended. We will be sure to
let you know when full functionality has resumed.
Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

I just exchanged my phone last night.....Not rooted yet and first time trying it I get this message. Just tried to factory reset and still nothing.
I wonder if the gt-i9300 trick would work. I'm too lazy to try it.

the google rep i talked to said that they disabled wallet for the lte for a little bit to fix an issue, i would just wait a while. they said they would send me an email once it was fixed. lol just relax and wait a bit this is one of this things that should fix itself. the Rep told me it had nothing to do with the phone itself its something on their end.
We just received the newly released US version Mate 10 Pro. I got it for my wife to replace her Axon 7. If it were my phone, I'd root it and use TiBU (assuming there's even a safe method for the US version), but it's her phone and she prefers it not be rooted. Through Google Backup, we got most of her stuff moved over, but all her apps don't have the application data that would also be moved using TiBU, so I'm wondering why the hell Google Backup even bothers.
I also tried the Huawei app "Phone Clone", but it fails after a few seconds, no matter what I do.
Is there a manually way to copy over application data without root? I haven't tried, because I don't want to complicate the situation by randomly copying crap over to the new phone.
So far, I've tried the following:
- Holo Backup (never starts a backup, and only says it'll work with the same device anyway)
- Manually copying /android/data/* over to new phone (starts transferring over windows, but hangs at certain files)
I'm beginning to think I am going to have to root this phone. I really cannot understand why google backup can't backup the application data. Could it be an option I'm missing?
Try Helium. I've not used it as I am rooted and use TiBu
But I've read that it does work.

i backuped all my data without any problem. the way i did was connected to a computer with hisuite(by huawei). then with debug mode on, everything was backedup, and could be restored later. Even the bluetooth device.

I finally gave up. All the good programs recommended by various sites (ie: super backup) said that without root, I wouldn't get the app data anyway. Some of the apps had export/import functions, so I used those where I could. The rest she'll just have to setup as best as she can.
I attached a screenshot of the about phone section.

What I mentioned was from Huawei official website. Hisuite
Does the built-in backup app not work? If it exists in the Play store, it might be worth a shot. I used the adb backup command to migrate some stuff from my old phone, but some apps wouldn't backup even after using the Xposed module to force enable backup of apps that do not have the FLAG_ALLOW_BACKUP flag. I got about half of my apps to restore with their data correctly, but that was about as good as I got it.

Not sure about HiSuite, but when I setup her phone, around the step that google will restore a cloud backup, "Phone Clone" also came up. It had me also install it on the other phone, then has you scan a bar code. After that, one of the phones will create a hotspot for the other phone to connect to. It looks like they find each other and a transfer starts, but they both failed within a minute or two.

I tried several other backup applications that, at their core, used a series of adb commands. All failed. If you're talking about using an xposed module, does that not require root? If I were going to root, I could just use Titanium Backup, which works for me every time.

the original system's phone clone, cloud backup was designed for the Chinese version, which flawlessly cloud backup to huawei's server. But apparently won't work for us version. but i did successfully transferred my iphone's data by the scanning bar code.
but if you're backup the current mate 10 pro, recommand to down hisuite from huawei's official site, and backup everything to my computer. that's how i did every times before using rebranding.

Does that work with different phones, though? Her old phone is an Axon 7. That's where we were trying to get the apps and data from.

Oh well, she's irritated about losing app data (and app state... having to log back in to everything), but she's so happy with the mate 10 camera, she couldn't care less.

Just saw this, sorry.
We thought it was the 18th as well. We pre-ordered it and NewEgg very clearly said "pre-order" with a 2/18 release date, but it shipped a few days later.
From what I can tell, it's only available through Best Buy, NewEgg, and B&H for now. Even though all three offered a $150 gift card, I picked NewEgg because they don't charge tax, and I needed a new SSD for my wife's PC.

I guess I should've considered Best Buy, as NewEgg reports to Colorado all online purchases through them now... grubby-ass politicians want it all.

Same with hers (Axon 7). I could take TiBU backups all day long... but not restore them.
Looks like Magisk will now work with the Kirin 970. Still no TWRP, though. If it were my phone, I'd be all over it. I just want her **** to work, though.

Awesome - I ordered from Best Buy - picking up on Sunday. I noticed that Newegg now shows as "in stock", nothing about pre-order, i just don't have a use for the Gift Card. And the 6% back in rewards negated the tax difference.
