Simcard Card Not Recognized with MiniCM9 ROM - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

Hello,
I'm sorry if this question was already been made before.
I've installed MiniCM9 Rom with ICS 4.0 successefully, but i've a major problem, my phone does not connect to the Vodafone network mobile provider. I have a Vodafone simcard and my phone doesn´t get connection to any network.
Anyone could help?
Additional Info: Seems that the phone doesn´t recognize the simcard

- Check if your device is ROOTED.
- Maby try to reflash rom, that worked for me to when wifi not worked.

It happened when you unlocked the bootloader, but you failed to chedk before you went ahead and flashed the custom kernel and ROM. Restore to original firmware, relock the bootloader and hope that it will fix your problem.

Use PC Companion to repair your phone as follows:
Leave your phone unplugged from your computer
Start PC Companion and choose update
It won't find your phone and offer you a repair option
Choose that and follow the steps
When it asks to connect your phone in flashmode, you phone needs to be turned off, you press the back-button and plug in the usb-cable, it will start flashing the original firmware
After it is done you open S1Tool
Press the Restore button, it will relock your bootloader
Hopefully your simcard will be detected again after that.

And if i insist to install ICS 4 (i have difficulties ti be beaten by informatics), what step did i miss/wrong in the process of installing ICS 4?
Edit:
I run se S1tool with the phone still in the condition before in it says that it has
SEMC Simlock Certificate.
What it means? Does it means that it should recognize the simcard?

check radiomodule version

It should work yes, did you check your firmware and baseband versions before you installed everything? they should be 2.1.1.A.0.6 or 2.1.1.C.0.0 for the firmware and alotofnumers ending with 4015 for the baseband.
Still go back to stock first and relock your bootloader, and hope your phone will work in that condition Then you can try again.

Maybe ur simlock got reinstalled.. spyderX had warned of this in his guide here maybe u can try to use setool2 to re-sim-unlock your phone???
Simlock sucks!!!
as it will hurt my pocket money, but good.
I have to re-pass the setool2 with bootloader unlocked already?
or if not, I can use another method of release, or has to be the setool2 mandatory?
Thanks for resolving my doubts.

The phone stills finds the network carriers in my country.
But when I try to choose the one I use, it says registering network and just after that "SIM does not allow conection to the network".
I've tried two different SIM form different carriers (I purchased an unlocked phone) with the same results
After MiniCM7-2.1.1 It was working OK
Now I've tried to SEUS and it went back succesfully to stock 2.1

Any help really appreciated as im struggling to find what the problem is.

make sure to wipe everything and don't exclude anything
Download Sk17i Firmware Global
Thanks for the firmware, I did try it but I had the same issues.
I resolved it now, I had to unlock the phone (Network SIM Lock) and now its working fine. I wouldnt want to guess at why the original SIM that came with the phone wouldnt work on a debranded firmware but maybe someone here will incase someone else bumps into this problem.
Thanks.

Have u installed a rom or kernel on it at all?
Sent from my Xperia X10 using XDA
yes i`ve instaled Oddie`s miui rom and darkHD rom but to instal the miui rom i`ve used the locked bootloader way, that means my bootloader is loocked, now i`m on stock, that was put on using SEUS.
this morning i`ve successfully unlocked my bootloader and curently running MOOKE`s rom. but i still can`t connect to a network. sholud i take my phone to a service to do a sim unlock? can it be that the problem?
Take out sim card and insert again.
Do flash kernel and flash rom as follow OP instruction
Done ^_^. HOpe this help u.
Or
Install kernel and flash rom then insert Sim.
Problem solved
did a recovery through seus, then rooted with flashtool, then reinstaled flashtool and drivers, then did an bootloader unlock and voila, got signal and network connection, flashed MOOke`s rom, which has a very good batery life. thanks
good!

Sim unlock usually don't matter which phone its in.
The SIM only is locked.
Try using the wrong password untill it requests for PUK code, then get your PUK code handy.
Usually sim providers can give you your PUK code.
UNLESS YOU STOLE IT
Then you're a nigga**** !
XD
JK

I want to use my phone with a vodafone SIM, but the phone is locked to T-Mobile.
Of course i know the PUK code I did not stole the phone or the SIM card
With this method I can use the phone with my Vodafone SIM?
The phone is rooted by the way.
When I enter my PIN code for the SIM, the phone asks for the network unlock code. That is my problem. And I can't use it with my Vodafone SIM card
Any solution for this?

No worries mate.
So first to download is the original firmware.
Go here -> http://www.samsungis.com/Firmwares/GT-S7275R.html
Choose based on country+mobile.
Hover the mouse over the words and it will show the country name if you're unsure.
So for example im in Malaysia and the latest firmware is XME, S7275RXXUANA3.
Once downloaded, the file is a single file. Extact it and you'll get an md5 file.
Use whatever odin version u have. I used odin 3.07
And select 'PDA' only. Then go to the downloaded file.
Proceed with flashing. Click start and wait for the phone to be installed.
Once install, phone should be brand new.
If phone stuck at boot screen, enter recovery and wipe cache and partition.
Let me know how it goes. !

I cannot confirm if the phone will be unlocked. But its worth a try.
But many websites charge you to get it unlocked and im not sure if there's a cheaper method.
But i can confirm that there is no CWM recovery for our phone yet.
Its the normal samsung official recovery i was speaking of.
Turn off phone, press 3 buttons at once (On/off button + home button + volume up button) .

Use ChimeraTool. It supports.
Hi - those firmware links are now dead (not the website, but the download links within that). Any alternative locations? Thanks, Geoff
Note: Flashing different firmware will NOT unlock a phone that is locked to a particular service providers sim you will need to get the unlock code from your provider or from one of the online services.
There are several online providers that can unlock GT-S7275 series phones online. The best ones will use a client software package that you download and install on your computer. You then need to pay them for the unlock before you can unlock the phone. Part of the process is changing your phone to Diag mode by setting the USB to DM+MODEM+ADB this is done by dialing *#0808# however on some S7275 Phones like the Telstra Australia GT-S7275Y dialing this code will not access the needed menu however it can still be accessed.
For Telstra Australia GT-S7275Y and similar phones you need to open the stock calculator app and type (+30012012732+ (note that the ( and the + signs must be typed) this will then open the Factory Mode dialler you can then type *#0808# and the menu will appear.
Don't forget to put your phone back to MTP+ADB (the default setting after unlocking).

Did you install/Update to CM 12.1 build?
Do you have baseband unknown under settings>About phone?
If you are new to CM12.1 and have baseband unknown issue. This is a common issue going around for CM based ROMs
you may need to flash stock sony FTF if yours is a non GPE model and then root and flash recovery.
You will get baseband back

Hello to you, I know you posted this a while ago, but I'm having the same problem on a Z ultra bought second hand... I have the error message invalid sim card after inputing the sim code (so the sim card is detected, and is working in another phone) I also have the error unknown baseband as you described. In the same way, when in service menu, if I want to check SIM lock in service info, the app freeze too without displaying anything.
I don't know what the other owner did to the phone though.
any clue for what to do ? I flashed the latest original rom ( 14.4.A.0.108) through flashtool - still sim card invalid -, then tried to flash through cwm another rom, but still the same.
There is also another bug, i don't know whether it's linked or not, but i can't take a picture with the camera app, the app freeze when I click the button !
Any help would be gladly appreciated !
Hi Kwenteen,
Did you get "unknown baseband" after flashing some ROM? If yes, try flashing KitKat ROM first and then see if you get baseband. I'm suspecting the flashing process didn't go well.
This is a known bug with CM12 ROM for ZU go to dial pad and dial *#06# and the Imei will show up if it shows unknown either flash the Modem zip or flash the stock ROM again

Hello sjesudasan, thanks for your help,
I tried to flash numerous original roms, starting all the way down to 290, which is 4.3, that displayed properly the emei number, but didn't allow me to pass phone calls (sim card detected, ask for pin code, then no service)
And I can't enter any APN.
On top of that, I am now unable to flash anything with xperia flashtool anymore, getting a null error then error flashing. Aborted. when trying to flash any firmware and the device doesn't boot anymore either. I guess the last flash went wrong even if it didn't display any error, but I assumed that as long as I was able to put the phone in flashmode, I would be able to flash anything, and get away from softbrick ?
when trying to fix with Xperia compagnon, I get the error "UEGetPhoneInfoMissingInfo "
Thank you for your suggestion sairaj rane, unfortunately I already tried that, went back to original firmware, I even flashed the modem zip. None of those solution worked for me.
Thank you for your help !

I have the same error, can't get to the network. Phone ask for simcode, I enter it, and then no error, just no connexion to the network.
I have a recognized emei number, but the ICCID says unknown...

Unfortunately, yes.
It worked in a way that allowed me to retrieve the phone from a pretty hard brick, in conjunction with the use of the test point method and s1tool …
but even after this awakening from the dead, still no network connection.
Have you checked the six golden Pins inside the Phones SIM Slot? (Hard to see)
Once my phones one was bent. Had to correct them with a fine tool. Sim recognized since then.
