Any possible way to disable..

Just wonderinag as I'm a quite "heavy" user when it comes to using the keyboard, is there any possible way to disable the two side buttons either side of the "Home" button? (Even the one to the left disabled only will help, or right depending how you hold the device)
I find when typing large amounts of text fast I accidently roll my hand over the left options button on all windows then press "New Tab/New Incognito Tab" or worst off "Share Page" which freezes my keyboard (able to type, but doesnt go add to any field) and I lose everything and have to start from scratch.
Currently using CM10- PA, with AOSP Keyboard. But this happens for all the functions of that button. (With PA its not needed)
Probably a long shot but thought I'd see if anyone figured a way to stop this from occurring.
Keep a finger on the keyboard at all times or something because the buttons doesn't respond when touching the screen

The easiest option.... I like it!
Just tested and it works but that is pretty hard to do without getting finger cramps all the time.. lol made me chuckle st least :silly:
Am I the only one that happens to do this or want an option to disable them? lol

Well.. I never write on my phone in horizontal actually.. So I never accidently press those buttons... The phone is to big for me to write that way!

Since any phone with the capability to turn keyboard to the side (ToccoLite(Temp)/HTC Desire) I have used it like it lol, portrait/one finger typing just doesn't work for me (Have my phone to the side 90% of the time)
But does bring to light why this isn't as common as I would have expected (;

Kill Zoom?!

Hi fellow sammy users!
Recently I was fiddling with my phone and enabled a function.. which one I cannot remember.
But what it does is Zoom the screen in every mode when I double tap the display. eg. when turning sammy on and tiping my PIN code..when I do it too fast it Zooms the entire screen.. And its getting quite irritating.
I mean when looking at a picture, the double tap zoom is nice but not in every single screen wether its in Menu of on Home screen..
I have searched n searched..went trough all the settings but cannot seem to find that option.
Plzzz help me turn it off :-\
Cheers! from Amsterdam

force deepsleep

Surely there must be an app out there that can force the phone to go into deep sleep, disable all wake locks apart from the phone?
There's loads of matches for wakelock but its basically been keyword spammed now so hard to search for.
I was just looking for the same thing, but found nothing but this thread... found any solutions?

Try some apps like McTweaker or Pimp My Rom,maybe there you can force phone to sleep better
I have Alcatel OT990 and on every ROM with every kernel,my phone sleep when screen off without any 3rd party app.Make sure that your kernel can "sleep" because some custom kernels in development can't

Hard Reboot Truesmart with long Powerbutton-Press?

My truesmart had a sleep of death two times now. Its on, i can make Screenshots (pressing both buttons together gives a shutter-sound), but other than that the truesmart isnt reacting (the lcd is black). On ALL android devices i know, you can press the Power-Button for about 8 seconds to force a reboot. That isnt possible on the truesmart. The annoying thing is, that you need a screwdriver to pull the battery...
Is there a way, to implement this long button-press in feature Firmware-Releases? Or is it a Hardware-fault?
Thanks for your help and suggestions!

adb reboot will help. Disabling fast-reboot in settings might help too.

Ambient mode

Hi, I am not able to get an ambient mode on my watch. When I check always on button in settings, my watches goes off through ambient mode but just for a second or two and don't stay in it. Can anyone help me please? I tried everything - rebooting, factory rester, nothing work. I own these watch only one week and it has been same since day one.
Same issue can anyone hepl plz
Make sure it is on in the Wear app on your phone as well.
Try to increase brightness to 4 for example. On my G-Watch I have sometime this issue.
Also maybe a power saving mode ? Try to charge and see if you have a message "battery reach 90% disable power saving ?"
You have to activate it in wear AND Zenwatch Software.
