[Q] Telstra Titan 4G Update Today? - 28 June 12 - HTC Titan

Does anybody know what the update that came out today is? I don't see any changes and can't find anything on the Telstra website.

The only information I can find on this update is here:
h t t p : / / w w w . peterskitchen.net/?p=8330
This is just a firmware update from HTC, updating the firmware revision, radio software and the bootloader. The update is probably targeted at some of the isolated issues some users have had, like random reboots and device freezes.
I updated my Titan 4G last night and since then I've had trouble connecting to my hidden WiFi network and have and my first crash/random reboot.
I'm hoping these issues will sort themselves out. Have you had any similar problems?

Only thing I noticed is a different Telstra logo on boot.
Never had a crash or any issues with mine so far. No issues with WiFi noticed since either

1.2.A.1.174 update available OTA

Did an OTA software update before and received 1.2.A.1.174 which came in around 16MB.
Haven't noticed any changes yet but will post again if I find anything. Apparently the WiFi issues have been resolved but I never had an issue with WiFi so can't comment on that.
no update here yet, custom NL.
Which build are you on?
Nothing here too

I can see and download, but i can't install... :-(
My phone is rooted.
no update available for me either.
rootet 1.1.A.0.8 / no branding / provider "blau.de"
I've got the update. The UI little bit change (color of text on buttons). Some new app appear (I think) Geotags, new TrackID, some bugfix on handsfree control and some widgets. I think also that response on some action is now smoother but cannot tell on 100%.
new update
Only the one change that I found on my phone - it is not possible to use a default setting in compass application menu - I must use a alternate sensor type. If I use "defaults" - the compass does not appear on screen...
no update available for me either (mini pro qwertz)
rootet 1.1.A.0.8, no branding, Vodafone Italy
Can't be stuffed unrooting, updating, re-rooting and then uninstalling all the crapware again. I'll just wait for 2.1 to come out.

update 1.2.A.1.174
I found a new information on this update on our Czech language forum - there a new widgets on phone - "last call - or intelligent searching" application - find last call through 3 days with small numeric keyboard; next is a great widget to change the status of phone - to Wifi enable/disable - Airplane mode enable/disable - bluetooth enable/disable - all in one clicks.
just got the new update, has the new widgets, as well as some minor changes, such as trackID, other than that, feels a bit faster?
running on the generic UK firmware.
I got a notice of a new update, but I accidently accepted it before turning on data, so I got an error-message about my network connection and the update notification was lost. Is there anyway to get it "back"?
I have a rooted debranded voda pro and this update has just come through - will I lose root installing this or should everything contiue to run as it was?

Go to Settings > About phone > Software update > Update now
Is there a way to download the firmware first and then update the phone offline ?

Atrix keeps restarting when making a phonecall

ok this phone a brand new, i can receive calls and text but when i dial a number and try to make a call the phone restarts
This is factory unlocked and not rooted
Try flashing a newer radio rom.
I dont want to root it incase i cant get the original rom back.
It is weird as, i have tried with every sim card to make calls and it works but when i put the 3 sim in does plays up
We experienced the same issue on some Turkish networks as well and flashing a newer radio rom fixed the problem. Flashing roms and rooting are totally different. What you need is a newer version of your current baseband ( radio rom ) sbf and official motorola software flasher " RSD Lite 5.3 "
Hope it helps.
Thank you so much for that Semseddin.
My problem solved, i just flashed it using RSD lite 4.9
Thanks everyone
Hi. I've been having the exact same issue. I've got an unlocked AT&T Atrix and I'm trying to use a Three UK sim (I'm in the UK). I'm a bit new to the world of android, can someone post a link to an appropriate Radio Rom?
Thanks for any help!!
OK after a little more web searching I've found a (sort of) solution -
"Here's a quick fix for it thou, (not permanent)....
1. type *#*#4636#*#* on the dialer
2. Chose Phone Information
3. Set preferred network to GSM only
Viola...its fixed
problem with this fix is that you wont be able to use your 3G network but the dialer should be working."
Problem is of course that you can't use your 3G connection. Hope this helps anyone else with the same issue.

Why is it always 3 that cause a problem?
When the Nokia N900 came out, that wouldn't work with 3 initially until a couple of updates later!

[Q] my AT&t atrix problems (Belgium)

Hi,
I m quite used to play with firmware on my tablets (haipad M7 and malata zpad t2)or my motorola Defy so i m not completely n00b with android but here is some problems i got from my new Atrix
1°)i got it with AT&T release 1.8.3
problems:
some telephone numbers got it reboot (mobistar N° like voice mail 5555xx) or restart automaticly after i try to stop the conversation (red button) cause i got no sound
wifi problem when ssid is not broadcasted (froyo problem known) ,got to connect manualy
theses problems are minor coz for me 1.8.3 from at&t is the best available
2°)so i unlock the phone via fastboot : ok
3°)i took the International House of Pudding! (Unlock/root thread) Updated July 23 2011 1.8.3 (preinstall)
problems:
same as at&t 1.8.3 + many reboot (even if the phone is locked, wake up during the night with at&t white screen ;p)
reboot with "phone" application and "message" application
4°)i put International House of Pudding! (Unlock/root thread) Updated July 23 2011 4.5.91
solved:
phone numbers from mobistar (be) and wifi automatic connection to not broadcasted ssid
problems:
many many reboot (a reboot every 4 or 5 hours) from theses application..calendar,weather,phone,sms,main
5°)last but not least i put the 4.5.91 radio from motorola.
problem:
one and only...unable to enter the phone because loop of error from main application, the one and only solution is taking out the battery
6°)back to 1.8.3 from At&T ;p

Alain
Hmmm... have you tried using any other roms? I suggest using an international one such as http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1160649, although I'm not entirely sure whether your phone is ATT or international?
it s an At&t not international
i tried french one but ut didn t install

LTE is not working

Hi, I downloaded and installed Lineage ROM, everything was working fine but I found that I was not able to send text messages (receiving messages was okay), I tried change values under test menu (*#*#4636#*#*) but problem persist.
I tried clean installation of new ROM (Aosp).
I tried install new firmware from:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/re.../firmware-xiaomi-redmi-note-5-5-plus-t3759683
And baseband from :
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=746163614322262750
And finally, text messages are OK, unfortunately I am not able connect to 4G/ LTE networks now. Only 2G and 3G networks are working. LTE services were working without problem on original Miui and Lineage ROM.
Can someone try help me how solve it ? I would really appreciate any ideas.
Do you think this can help?
https://androidfilebox.com/app/redmi-5-plus-modem-firmware/
Thanks in advance and happy weekend
i have the same question! +1
I tried fresh install original MIUI ROM, but it did not help
http://en.miui.com/getrom-340.html?m=yes&mobile=2 .
LTE is not available still.
I did not try this method still: https://androidfilebox.com/app/redmi-5-plus-modem-firmware/
But I don't have another option I guess.
With LTE no Problems = https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-5/development/rom-omnirom-t3823189
Unfortunately LTE is not working on this ROM (Omni) for me too, but I expected it, because as I wrote I tried original MIUI as well. It's problem of wrong firmware, baseband, modem or something, because hard reset or flashing new rom don't fix it. Btw, this morning I was in big city in my country and my phone was able connect to LTE, but it was 1800 or 2100 MHz, which are available only in bigger cities. When I came back to home, it showing only H+ again. It seems my phone is not able to connect only to LTE on 800 MHz (B20) currently, which is most widespread LTE frequency in my country and this one is only available one in my location. And I was able connect to this network before. Unfortunately I don't know how I can bring it back.
Solved.
My friend share her .xqcn file with me (she has same phone) so I flashed modem file via QPST Flash Tool to my device. Xiaomi started receiving LTE in my location- B20 frequency band, unfortunatelly it was continuously connecting and disconnecting between "no signal" and 4G.
The next step was flash MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM 8.8.9 to my phone via Miflash. LTE seems be stable and fully working now.

Samsung Galaxy A50 -Software Update Issue after unlocking phone and switching network

Hi,
So yesterday I successfully unlocked my Galaxy A50 from Three network and ported my number to 48 network. Went to a phone fix shop to get the phone unlocked and it took about 20 minutes (cost me €25). Everything about the phone and 48 network works fine. However, when I went into Software update in my settings and tried to download and install the latest software update, I receive the message "Your current software version isn't supported. Visit a service centre".
I never had issues with updating software before and after checking online it seems that maybe the software updates are carrier locked (to Three network) and that if I want to update the software I would need to put an active Three SIM into the phone.
I rang back the guy who unlocked the phone and he said that people never come back to him with this issue after unlocking their phones, but if I wanted he would be able to manually update the phone and in the future it should update automatically, but this will cost €35 as he said he may need to backup everything and upload it again and it's a lengthy process.
It's either that, or find a Samsung Service Centre in Ireland (can't find any on website) or put a Three network SIM in any time I want to update.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Would really appreciate some help!
