New the samsung so I'm not sure if this is even possible but is there any way to edit the 4 quick launch (phone, messaging, S-memo, camera) in the lock screen?

Air view lock screen preview thing

Is there any way to change how and what appears when you hover your hand over your locked phone?
system settings > my device > lock screen > unlock effect
After turning it off though I noticed the stuttering after I unlocked the phone suddenly disappear.
My initial post was a bit confusing. I meant the Air Gesture - Quick Glance. Is it possible to change that through a mod?

Lock screen notification content privacy

Is there a way to hide the notification contents displayed on the lock screen?
You can switch off the notifications in the lock screen per app, but it's a tedious process. I would be interested in an easier method as well.
Sent from my ALP-L29 using Tapatalk
Settings>Apps&notification>Notifications management> on top right corner drop down toggle "Lock screen notifications".
Havent logged in a while but had to to say thanks for this.

Yes it is. I was looking for it & I was afraid to be disappointed but I found it.
Go to:
Settings> Apps & Notifications> Notifications Management, then click the three dots up in the corner of the screen. You'll find it there
It has changed now!
It is
Settings -> Notifications -> Lock screen notifications -> Selection:
1) Show
2) Do not show
3) Show but hide contents

No magazine unlock option in Menu

I just got a Mate 20 Pro and while searching through the settings, I could not find the magazine unlock feature inside the Home screen and wallpaper menu. I only see themes and wallpapers option on top but not the magazine unlock as shown in multiple reviews. Am I missing something? The phone displays a different image everytime I try to unlock it but I don't see the option in the settings which would allow me to select the images I want.
Thanks
This never even worked for me. I have magazine unlock turned on, but I only always get the same pic. I can only switch them manually.
In lockscreen swipe once, then make sure the lock icon in lower left corner is set to unlocked

That's the thing. It's unlocked and seems to be working but I can't find the option in the settings menu from where you can select which images are to be included in the display cycle.

Check home screen settings..
Damn, I can't put up a screenshot from my Google drive otherwise I could've shown how that option is not present at all in the Home screen and wallpapers menu

After update i think the magazine lockscreen settings vanished. As far as I know, the only way to enable or disable it is in the theme settings.
Magazine lockscreen settings are still there:
Settings > Home screen & wallpaper > Magazine unlock

App notifications are not displayed on the lock screen

Have you ever been in such an annoying situation that app notifications are not displayed on the lock screen? The following is the solution I summarized, hope that will be helpful.
Cause 1: Face unlock is enabled on your phone.
• When the unlock mode is set to Direct unlock, message content will be hidden when the screen is locked in order to protect your privacy.
• When the unlock mode is set to Slide to unlock and Smart lock screen notifications is enabled, message contents will be hidden when the screen is locked in order to protect your privacy.
Solution:
If you wish to display message contents when using Face unlock:
• EMUI 8.X: Go to Settings > Security & privacy > Face unlock, enter the lock screen password, and disable Smart lock screen notifications.
• EMUI 9.0 and Magic UI 2.0.1: Go to Settings > Security & privacy > Face Unlock or Settings > Security & privacy > Face recognition, enter the lock screen password, and disable Smart lock screen notifications.
You can also set the unlock mode to Fingerprint ID or Password.
Cause 2: Show but hide contents is enabled.
Solution:
EMUI 8.X: Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Notifications management > Batch management > Lock screen notifications, and select Display all notifications.
EMUI 9.0, EMUI 9.0.1, and Magic UI 2.0.1: Go to Settings > Notifications > Lock screen notifications, and select Display all notifications.
Cause 3: Notifications turn on screen is not enabled when using Magazine unlock.
Solution:
To enable Apply:
EMUI 8.X/9.0/9.0.1: Go to Themes > Customize > Lock screen style, select Magazine unlock, and touch Apply.
Magic UI 2.0.1: Go to Themes > Customize > Lock screen style, select Magazine unlock, and touch Apply.
To enable Notifications turn on screen, go to:
Magic UI 2.0.1: Settings > Notifications > More notification settings > Notifications turn on screen
EMUI 9.0/9.0.1: Settings > Notifications > More notification settings > Notifications turn on screen
EMUI 8.X: Settings > Apps & notifications > Notifications & status bar
EMUI 5.X: Settings > Notifications & status bar.And enable Notifications turn on screen.
Cause 4: Lock screen notifications is not enabled for this app. Apps that do not have this feature enabled will not cause the screen to light up upon receiving a new message or notification.
Solution:
Go to:
Magic UI 2.0.1: Settings > Notifications > Notifications
EMUI 9.0/9.0.1: Settings > Notifications > Notifications
EMUI 8.X: Settings > Apps & notifications > Notifications management
EMUI 5.X: Settings > Notifications & status bar > Notifications management
Enable allow notifications and Lock screen notifications for apps as needed.
Cause 5: The message content has been hidden for the third-party app.
Solution:
Enable the app's notification switch to show message content.
If the issue remains unresolved, back up your data and restore your phone to factory settings.
