If you can photoshop a little they are very easy to make.
Just find a cool battery icon and rebuild it a little
Basically you need 7 .PNG's of 320x480 pixels names charging_animation_01.png --to--chargning_animation_07.png and copy them in your system folder.
but if not, then just check around here, there are more sequences to be found.
I'll make more myself in the future and post them here.

I used photoshop to make my own offline charging animation using the following configuration: 320x480, RGB, 8bit, .PNG format.
Inside the Rom (gallery for example), all .PNG files are perfectly shown; but the odd thing is, all red colors are shown blue in the device during offline charging. Any idea on root of the problem?
one question
how did you got the star under the thanx meter?
and great work

You should not use these colors.
Best is always to 'save for web' > shift+ctrl+alt+s
just select PNG-24 there and deselect transparency.
Have 'Convert to sRGB' enabled and set it to monitor colors
if that doesn't work, i really have no clue..

Is it possible to add more that 7 images?
If not, anyone know why...pngs' are linked or something with some other files in root?
Thanks for help.

for the battery sequence you can only use 7 images.
Think it's a system setting. Might be able to hack around that, but have no clue where

1st of all, thanks cryshop! Nice work, I'm glad you found the time!
2nd, the problem with the zip is, that the whole resources.apk might be different...for example I extracted those files and put them in my .apk...
3rd, does the ROM really need to be de-odexed? What if I put the different png's to my resources.apk ? - edit, You don't have to be deodexed, it works just fine on B 0.1 Rom, which is not.
EDIT2: When I touch the display(screen locked text appears) part of the image sems to lose it's transpatency settings - there is a vivid ende below the text - is this normal?
Thanks!

The black half-transparent rectangle at the bottom causes that. It seems to be something in the xml files which I'm not able to edit. I can retouch graphic files only, sorry for that
nice work! I just made a bit more space between the 2 arrows.
Cause it was overlayed by the text saying: "screen locked" (since in dutch its scherm geblokkeerd) and that's much longer
png is attached for dutch people or people that want more space between the arrows (hope you don't mind cryshop otherwise just tell me and I'll remove it asap)

Hi Cryshop,
Just a question here, but could you make a lockscreen that would correspond with your navbar? It would actually need editing of one png The shape is OK, but the style would look nicer
I tried 3ds max to make one, but I need some study in that

Hey kids,
I was screwing around with jcsullins, creator of moboot. He explained how to modify the image that is used for the moboot background. I made this one, and would like to share it with you.
Just flash this with CWM or TWRP and it will replace your current moboot. This does not change the operation of the moboot, it just gives it some "flare", or as I call it, "Kyle Style". LOL
Since the image is bigger than just a blank black screen, it does take a split second to load. This is normal.
Let me know what you think!
Here is what the background looks like:

Your wish has been granted. Check OP.
Hey rev, you mentioned on the video to 'not tick the RLE' option in the photoshop saving process which is actually false. That checkbox says "compress RLE (Run Length Encoding)" which can turn a 3mb file to 100kb (32bit) and if you choose the 16bit profile you can get the 3mb file to around 50kb.
My suggestion for photoshop users is to tick compress RLE but choose the 24bit or 32bit profile (16bit wont play nice with gradients).
Rev got a question and ask a favor. I have no idea how to expand on the vid and also think Photoshop would be required. I have the following 2 images and would like to have HP on top and Android on bottom. I'm sure the blacks are off, but would think that Ps could fix that and join them and format it to the size we need... heavy sigh. Can this be done?

I'm pretty sure that I said TO check the box. I double checked the video. I DO say to check it off, both in GIMP and in Photoshop.
Also, I would love for you to share with me a way to make a 1024x768 tga file down to 50kb. I have yet to get one below 900kb.
I must have heard wrong then, sorry for that.
I use Adobe Photoshop CS 5.1 (not sure if its different in previous/newer versions) and here is an image with my settings for the save as ->targa:
and here is the file itself:

I dont understand but that version works perfectly in my phone so it is possible...
The Deal....
It works cuz
Its just time consuming!!!
here is the deal.
Windows Instructions:
Find your favorite boot animations.
Copy the Bootanimation.Zip file to your desktop...
Extract this file to your desk top:
You now should have an unzipped bootanimation file folder.
It probally contains two folders with part0, part1 (or something similar)
PS
always save the original bootsamgung.qmg until you get the modified one working***
just use rom toolbox or other root enabled file manager to move the original out and put the modified one in.....
PEACE
follow the steps above and start filling in your JPG's (remember if you have 100 jpgs you need to load the 100 files, thats 100 times...)
next follow the rest of the directions and your done.
after getting use to the software, I made the flaming skull boot in about 25 min.
Hope that helps!:silly:
is it working ?
could you tell me how you do it?
coz only a very few people have got it working...i myself cudn't make it work for some reason but those which others made works on my phone

So without further ado, i present to you my first 2 bootanimations ever.

These 2 Despicable Me bootanimations are for Samsung TouchWiz roms and you need to have root and replace the files in /system/media/ and the sound file is in the /ui / folder in that directory. Back up the original files before replacing. You also need to change permissions of the files to rw-r-r and reboot.
I do have the original files to create a flashable zip but I'll work on that and test it on an old phone and post the links later.

Yeah, did it several times and it's not working at a boot animation for some reason. Not sure why.
Flashable zip please! Thanks!
Love it thanks

I wanted to change the boot animation because simple Samsung logo looked too still and bland.
Most of the ones I found online that are compatible with samsung's weird startup animation format (.qmg) are old and the resolution doesn't always fit.
So I made one, in Samsung Theme Designer. It is centered, and runs at a nice fps ratio. Tested on S20 only, but should work on the others.
It consists of the appearing then disappearing of the samsung logo. The letters write themselves in blue-ish and get erased in yellow-ish.
Please note that :
- This only works with Samsung ROMS. The file format is .qmg (samsung-specific!)
- The file I give you only concerns the second boot animation. That means that your phone will still show a still "samsung" before switching to this custom bootanimation
- I stole the independent image files from Bootiful, and I don't know where they stole it
- I know the "samsung" from my animation is not at the same place than the one from the first bootanimation but it was already a pain to resize so I don't think I will fix that
Installation steps :
1 - Download and unzip the file
2 - Make a copy of your old boot animation before so that you can go back if you're unhappy (/system/media/bootsamsungloop.qmg)
3 - Replace the file with the same name (bootsamsungloop.qmg) at /system/media .
4 - Done. Next time you boot it will appear

Hey, I don't think you can write /system/media/ without root, so no it doesn't.

Try and find out ig, I don't really remember how I dimensionned the images and I don't have any samsung device to try this on.
If you follow my guide, using step 2's file you can restore the old animation if the dimensions are not to your liking
