I am looking for a adb pull of the Rogers, Bell, AT&T modems. I have the Telus Modem that can be flashed in CWM. I need to know if the Telus, Rogers and Bell modems are all the same basebands ? You will have to have CWM and root installed to use adb.

since moving from 2.3.3 to to 2.3.5 ive had stability issues and signal drop outs.
ive kept the kf2 modem during the change over and suspect that i may need to upgrade the modem to the latest version compatible for telstra and i will also move to 2.3.6 (stock) soon.
what is the latest modem version that works nicely with telstra's 3g network in AU.
Both Voda and Telstra sell the I9100T which uses a different modem to the international model. Last I heard, the latest modem was released by Voda - I9100TDUKJ1.

Is the file above able to be flashed via odin or is it for a rooted phone with clockworkmod?
At this stage my phone isnt rooted.
CW. If you want to flash it with Odin, extract the modem.bin file & put that in the "phone" section of Odin & away you go.

so .bin will work fine in the phone section of odin.
shouldnt it be in the tar.md5 format?
So i flashed a i9100T modem on my phone with CM9 latest nightly(i know, i know, its a nightly rom) with this modem: I9100TDUKJ1.
I have no internet connection on CM9 but when i install Miui V4 SGS2 2.3.19, i get internet connection. This is weird.
I bought the phone from bell and now im overseas in Thailand and i need to use the internet.
Im on CM9 latest nightly and the internet wont work. Im thinking of flashing a i9100T modem! Please help! Thank you!
I tried KI3, KI4 and all the new ICS Modems and non works. So im turning to the i9100T variant since the 850mhz band in these modem works better.
Some modems are better for certain networks/carriers, so you can definitely flash the i9100T modem in your i9100M. If you are not happy with the network performance, you can always go back to your original modem - there is a huge collection of modems in xda. It will not kill your phone, I personally use different branded modem in sgs2 phone.

Please forgive me if this is a dumb question but can I use the ROM from different provider in my tablet ?
I have a P7500 with canadian provider videotron who will not upgrade to ICS or JB. I've been trying without success to use CM 10.1 but I'm wondering if I could flash with an official rom from another canadian provider and upgrade via kies or ota.
I'm assuming everything should be compatible since videotron and rogers both use hspa+ network but are the roms from sammobile unlocked ? Would their Rogers rom work with my Videotron sim card ?
well im using a custom rom with rogers provider
custom roms are not provider dependant.
even using the voice call modem (baseband) and it works great.
i dont see why not..but recovery from odin should not be a problem
in other words difference between rogers p7500 and videotron p7500 is it's bloatware that is not in custom roms
My question is not about custom roms, it's about the official roms available at SamMobile. Are they locked to their providers ?
Hi, i rooted and installed a rom on my new note 2 and now my modem doesnt work. Baseband version is unknown. I live in canada and can't find the right modem for it, most are forigen countries. My provider is koodo, telus basically.
List of modems, none with UG for north america http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2044937 Ive tried installing other ones but it still says unknown baseband. I installed used cwm. Not sure how to do it with odin, i tried using the phone option for the modem.tar but that usually failed. Any suggestions on how to get my phone's sim card working again? It worked before i rooted and installed rom. Thanks

This unfortunately is only for verizon rom questions. You may need to seek help in the international rom section to find the correct modem for your carrier.
Can you flash a different carrier via Odin on this device? asking because I have an AT&t version and was wondering if I could flash a T-Mobile network ROM.
