Now that RAZR & RAZR MAXX have received their updates to Android 4.0.4 we have the ability to do screenshot without root access.
Just hold the volume down + the power button for about 2 secs. and ta-da screenshot.:good:
Yeah, it's nice that ICS finally allows that.

Thank! works great. I think the trick is to hold volume down and power together at the same time and hold until you hear the camera shutter sound.

Does anybody know if we can change the default directory to the external SD-Card?

You made me laugh lol! No I'm not new to android, I just can't find the settings to turn camera sound off.
The Camera settings (within the Camera app itself) appears to have this option.

OP may have a region ROM that can't do such a thing.
Certain countries have laws that require you have to have sound on the camera shutter.
But just for ***** and giggles, does the camera make a sound when you put the phone into "silent mode"?...
Nah my country dosn't have those stupid laws. However, the system version says "AsiaRetail" so I guess they use the same software in Japan and korea which have those damn laws!
Yes it does! Silent is not so silent is it? =(
Can any of you send me your PROPER camera apk?

Anyone else having issues with the speedtest.net app? I can't tell if its the phone or my account since u wasn't able to get it to work on my bionic either. Or is there a chance that it is because Verizon is throttling my connection? (Currently used 28GB this month)

You can use the volume button as a shutter, right out of the box. Click the settings icon & go to "use the volume key as..."
I was really hoping for this mod too. If I take pictures with the volume button the photos don't turn out right ever. Hopefully one of our great devs will make this mod sometime in the near future.

I don't believe this option is available for stock 4.1.1. I think this comes when Galaxy Note 2s are updated to 4.1.2, which I don't believe Verizon has deployed to their Note 2s yet.

If you are on CleanROM ACE, then you are on 4.1.2. Most other TW roms are 4.1.1. This is likely a 4.1.2 feature.
