Anyone else having issues with the speedtest app? - HTC Droid DNA

Anyone else having issues with the speedtest.net app? I can't tell if its the phone or my account since u wasn't able to get it to work on my bionic either. Or is there a chance that it is because Verizon is throttling my connection? (Currently used 28GB this month)

Does it not work at all, or is it just showing slow speeds?

Ithough it didn't work but I left it running for half an hour and got a 68600 ms ping, 0.03 mpbs down and 2.87 up

No, he meant Power + Vol Down because that works just as well. You just need to hold it longer.

Sorry.. I guess I wasn't doing it correctly. I held power down then pressed vol down...it just turned down my volume
same thing if I held vol down first
finally had it do successfully. and that was a quick at the same time exactly. guess I need to work on my timing lol

S-OFF Battery Dead

Ok so i have S-Off but my battery died and i plugged it in and the only way to get the phone back on was to pull the battery.
Anyone else have that issue?

...you forgot to apply the wireless charging patch when you did s-off- didn't you!

What's the wireless charging patch?
OP, that happens with clockworkmod. If you use twrp, you can charge your phone with it off.
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
I just turned my phone off (not the first time since I acquired S-off) and my phone refused to turn on. I had to do a battery pull in order to get it to boot.
My SD card also corrupted itself (16GB Class 10) inside of my phone last night. I lost some important pictures that I cannot replace.
I wonder if these occurrences aren't caused by whatever method Revolutionary uses to acquire s-off. I never had a hint of any problems before I used it.

open your app drawer and hit the menu button. then select edit. it will have you change your view type to customizable grid. that will allow you to drag **** down there. don't forget to hit menu again and save afterwards.

Just hold the volume down + the power button for about 2 secs. and ta-da screenshot.:good:

OK so if you can go into download mode then you must be doing something wrong. I myself have gone through a few android phones and still sometimes have trouble going into recovery mode. Try again. Press and hold volume up, down and the power button. Then you will see the Samsung logo. B4 the logo goes away let go of all the buttons. Then you should be OK.
