Whenever i ask something to the new voice search in android 4.1 Jelly Bean i just shows me text without any pictures. For example if i ask "when was barack obama born" it shows me the date, without any pictures, where as other videos which i have watched show a picture of Obama.
Is there anyway to fix this?
Im using a GSM Galaxy Nexus with the Jelly Bean ROM.
+1...same here...i wonder if its location based as i do not live in the U.S.
ok i found out how to fix the problem, just go to google now settings > Privacy and accounts > check "Search on google.com" that fixes the picture issue

I am new to the SIII world. As the Official Jellybean update is round the corners I don't wanted to flash the Super Nexus(JB update) but I can't wait for the Google Now and the enhanced Google Voice Search therefore I wanted to ask Is there any way in which I can just flash the Google Now (with Voice Search) to my phone without having to flash the whole JB rom.
Be careful there's a lot of idiots on here who will jump at you for posting about something that's previously been discussed. It's pathetic IYAM.

Why don't you just install one of them?
I'm currently on XXDLH4 but downloading XXDLH7 (wich just leaked today!!!) to flash is ASAP...

The first time it looks a little scary, for instance, when it tells you that you are 20min. away from home and have 5 min. delay because of traffic, even without calendar events... or any other setting.
But it is really cool, weather events, calendar reminders (if they have the addres it even tells the ETA time), traffic predictions...

I am looking for a JB rom which support video calling. My provider (T-Mobile in Poland) allows this feature as standard.
I have checked lots of JB roms but none of them has this functionality. Unless there is a way to make it work somehow.

hi everyone! i just flashed a new room touchwiz5 for samsung galaxy w with and it also doenst come with the option of video call besides making a regular call. Does anyone know how or is there an update for it?

I know my question may not interest most of you, and i've been looking myself for an answer for hours on Google, but I can't find anything.
I own a Galaxy Nexus on a Stock Rom 4.2.1, and 'im not able anymore to create a Contact on the Phone or on the Sim card.
I've checked on another Nexus which has the same behaviour.
But on every other phones I've checked which are on android 4.1 (Htc One X and some other), the functionality is still available.
Do you know if Google removed on Android 4.2.1 and upper versions the ability of adding a Contact directly to the phone (I only have my Gmail accounts that are purposed as a Source for the Contact when I try to add a new one) ?
And if they did, is there any place/website/official article which is talking about it?

I am frustrated with the lack of anything like this for ICS. I am in the same boat as you. I can't believe that Google Now is completely broken for ICS. Likewise, if you are on ICS, YOU CANNOT EVEN FIND VLINGO ON THE MARKET.
I seriously believe that Google paid Vlingo off to not make it available for ICS because we literally have no choice but to buy a Jelly Bean phone in order to have a decent voice search or voice activated app. (Because nothing comes close to Google Now or Vlingo in voice capability)
If you read the forums about ICS, you will see nothing but post after post of how ICS basically has broken voice activated and voice search mechanics. Google bent over backwards to put Google Now on Iphone, but refuses to support Google Now for ICS.
If anyone thinks it's a coincidence that Vlingo is off of the Android market for ICS and that Google Now was broken, then you are naive.
Google sold us out to get us to buy Jelly Bean phones.
I'm officially done buying Android phones after my current one dies in the future. I've never heard of such poor support for the second newest OS before. It's like ICS does not exist to Google.

Anyways, i don't mean Vlingo and i am with a Samsung ICS.I mean Google Experience Launcher.I found one that succesfully installed on my device but not working. But anyways i use Nova Launcher right now.
Nexus 10 4.2.2 no root, original ROM. I search picture over google search bar. Example I search BMW, I see lot of pictures BMW cars, I slide between them. Now I search example Ford and I see lot of picture again. But if I search BMW again and click on any pictures I do not see picture, only black screen with google logo and information about copyright. Same situation is on HTC One 4.2.2 It is android bug?
Edit: Probably is bug in Google search app. I found the solution. Version Google search is 3.3.11.1069658 If I uninstall update to version 3.1.8.920880 everything works.
