Hi all, I got new Sony Xperia S (LT26i) but it is network locked (Slovak T-Mobile). I have tried cellunlocker and unlockphonenetwork, but without luck. Both wrote me, that they have some problem and it is impossible to unlock it. It is not hardlocked. Can anyone help me please? Thank you very much

well.. there was a way to open it, via s1 server with SEtool software.
but now the s1 server is down, for unknown time.. unlucky you.

I did not try this method, so if you will do the unlock by this method you will do it on your own risk. I don't now about working this method on sony xperia S, because it is for samsung. And you can not use this method without root.
Try to get the root by the method for SO-03D.

i don´t have cleared if i can unlock the sony LT26i with setool box ? and if the server is online how many credits used to do the unlock ?? thx

there is only one way to root your mini at the moment.
its really complicated and there are no videos about it.
so i guess you should probably wait until there is a easier root solution
you can easily unlock the bootloader for getting rooted. it's not as difficult as you think.

Hello, i just bought an sk17i mini pro Orange branded. Of course i want to root it and I found a lot of solution, specially one on this board .But finally it doesnt work, my bootloader cant be unlocked because of brand. It's just here :

I have a same problem... I tried a lot of thing, but... If in your Service Menu it say "Bootloader unlock allowed: No", you can't do anything.
Every method need to boot Fastboot mode. If your phone is branded, and not allowed to unlock bootloader, you cannot start the Fastboot mode... Now.

pls try the s1 tool method. it's a little complicated. but you can do it. and the you will not lose your DRM.
I tried it... I can't enter Fastboot mode.
I think s1tool TP method is only work if your Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes...

Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum.
I recently bought an Xperia Mini pro and would like to completely unlock it.
I saw some peoples who remotely unlock those phones with SETool.
There is also a software called Omnius and would like to know if it can unlock SIM, fastboot and bootloader on Xperia Mini Pro SK17i, this isn't specified in any post.

Yes, you can unlock it with Omnius, I unlocked my phone today in this way.
You need to buy one Android Single Unlock license.

sorry to bump old thread.. will this work for carrier locked phones bootloaders also? or just sim lock and leave bootloader locked with no fast boot?
Omnius just deals with SIM-lock (and works well: I unlocked my SK17i this way). You need to then use another method (eg Doomlord's) to root. HTH.

Yes, because mine didn't allow unlocking the bootloader, and I unlocked it with the "Android single unlock" license by Omnius.
Thanks for clarifying that. I assumed that was the case, but I wanted to check before handing over the monies!
Soon I will have xperia s in my hands and I wanted to know whether it is possible to root the firmware without having unlocked bootloader. My phone will be locked to t-mobile uk so I cannot unlock it.
Would it be possible for me to still somehow root the phone?

Hi, as my xperia ray is locked to telus I wanted to know if there is a way to network unlock Xperia ray. I tried unlocking it with the samsung galaxy ace method becuase it was and android and it was also version 2.3.4 i thought maybe this method will work http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1335548 but this did not work as i got the error /dev/block/bml5: No such directory.
Alot of experts here any one knows a way to network unlock xperia ray please help! Btw I wonder how these unlock code website people do it :/

Hi dudes,
I sent an email to Sony Support France and asked them about bootloader. I have a Sony Xperia Z2 from SFR carrier ( FRANCE ) and I was wondering if they could unlock my bootloader if I sim unlock it. I mean without simlock my phone should be the same as a phone purchased in a Sony store.

If the exploit is found, then you can flash a ROOTED ROM on a locked bootloader like the Z1. I for one like the stock sony experience i just wish i could put a sound MOD on the Z2 and for that i need root but, my phone is locked.....
Oh ok, so if an exploit is found, people with locked bootloader will not be able to flash kernel like the one from DoomLord for exemple ?
