if you download this (http://api.viglink.com/api/click?fo...v09/boot.img&jsonp=vglnk_jsonp_13190526645891)
and flash it to a SE Neo with FW 4.0.1.A.283 than it can't go wrong

Sent from my MT15i using Tapatalk
yes that is the right way and i did it exactly!i downloaded this boot file and flashed with fastboot........i can't understand why after a reboot the kernel doesn't stay there.....but when i flash it again and the phone starts, the custom kernel is used....why it doesn't stay there after reboot?
was your led indicator blue when you entered fastboot mode?
you could also ask it on the DooMKernel thread> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18566890#post18566890
ofcourse it was blue....i am telling you that it flashed OK and it worked fine just after flash......it is lost ONLY when i reboot my phone....

Try older version....v8 some bugs..but nothing to lose.
And your firmware is 2.3.4 yes?
Sent from my MT15i using Tapatalk
yes 2.3.4 i just tried v08 and it worked......when i tried the previous week the phone didn't even start.....but again with v08 after restart is starts with stock se kernel.....wtf??
Is V9 fully compatible with 2.3.4, no bugs?
Hmm...my knowledge is to small to help you. Sry.
But I wait if someone give you a solution for that. Try mayby wipe all? Is it possible?

As the title, how to fastboot kernel.elf?
You just change .img for .elf
You must put kernel.elf in the folder where do you have the sdk of Android ( and so also fastboot.exe). Then you connect the XU on fastboot mode to the Pc and open a prompt-Windows command in the folder where do you have kernel.elf. On the Windows command write this: " fastboot.exe flash boot kernel.elf" Wait until all is done et voilà
use flashtool fastboot mode...
select thunder icon
connent phone in fastboot mode ( volume up pressed while connecting to usb )
select fastboot mode
click on select kernel to flash
choose ur .elf / .sin /.img kernel file
thats it .... since u choose it... it automatically flashes it....
edit - i exactly dun remember of .elf is directly supported or not there..
bt still i will let u knw when i switch on my lappy

Do one thing change that name of file to something simple I.e. Kernel.elf
The main problem is you are typing the wrong command
If your kernel name is kernel.elf
Then the command to type is
fastboot flash boot kernel.elf
And then press enter....

Hello!
I need some help: I tried flash a Custom Kernel (Lupus, FXP), but after flashing, I boot in to CWM (Or TWPR, in Lupus), flash a ROM (For Xperia Z Jelly Bean, i tried Lupus and FXP (one include with rom), for a FXP 225 and CM9.1, i tried only FXP include in to rom).
But, when I reboot, Neo stucks in a Sony Logo and persist the old Kernel (The original kernel).
Anybody can help me?
Thanks

But I fastbooted the kernel, boot in to Recovery, flashed the ROM, and when I boot again to system, stuck in Sony Logo.
So, i fastbooted again the kernel, reboot and boot in to Android. But, when I reboot after, the kernel is missing and Neo stucked in Sony Logo again.

Not guys, I'm not use a Flashtool.
I used a CMD.
Command flashtool boot boot.img
The Kernel uploads to Neo, boot in to first time, I can access the Recovery and flash the Custom ROM. But, when I reboot again to access the Android, Neo stucks in a Sony Logo (Neo back to Stock Kernel!).
I'll try use the Flashtool. But this is strange, yesterday I flash using CMD in another Neo and works. Today, in my Neo (Daily use) not work...
Have a difference using a CMD or a Flashtool to flash a kernel?
Thanks for help!

Guys, thanks so much!
I don't see this mistake... With fear and angry to flash a correct ROM/Kernel, I don't see this detail.
I'll "Thank You" for everyone that reply me!
Thanks again!
Tested only in Xperia M4 Aqua E2303 with firmware 26.3.A.1.33.
Root/ SuperSU 2.78
1. download this boot.img: http://www39.zippyshare.com/v/smp1HMAj/file.html
2. Copy into the adb folder.
3. Boot into fastboot mode, then type in adb shell:
fastboot devices
fastboot flash boot boot.img
TWRP v3.0.2.0
1. Download this recovery.img:http://www82.zippyshare.com/v/xHcjnORE/file.html
Credits toiSpecialist
2. Copy into the adb folder.
3. Boot into fastboot mode, then type in adb shell:
fastboot devices
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Unplug and rboot your device.
Now you have ROOT with SuperSU 2.78 with TWRP Recovery
P.S: you need UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER
I modded and repacked my "boot.img" file using this tutorial:http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z5/development/root-automatic-repack-stock-kernel-dm-t3301605
Greetings
ENJOY!!
Great job!
Just done it and no bug seems to appear!
Thanks

Hello,
To boot into recovery mode :
1) Power off your phone
2) Power on your phone using power button + volume down button at the same time, until you see the "SONY" logo.
Then release both and wait until recovery loads.
