Hi guys, looking to find out what stock image i want..
Hiya guys...I have recently aquired a SG3 -how do i know which stock ROM i want, im in the UK and am using Marks AMAZING Toolkits/w to root etc but have decided i want to flash a stock ROM first....the tool gives me a list of 4 to download...
Are they region/carrier specific? I am a t-mobile customer and just wish to de-bloat their crap down to a stock Samsung ROM before deciding on a decent ROM for this pocket rocket!
Do i need to flash a T-Mobile relevant ROM still?
Best Regards

Does that ROM include my necessary modem or are they a separate requirement....like for instance....radios
P.S. Thanks very much indeed
Modem and radios are the same. Yes it includes everything u need. Everything u have on stock minus most of the bloat.
There will still be bloatware, but u can delete it with titanium backup from playstore. Find a list with all the safe to remove bloatware (google search) first!
hope this helps mate

Better still, this rom...

By the same developer, is like stock. With a few mods. And basically no bloatware.

Hi. Ive got a Galaxy S3 GT-I9300.
A few Weeks ago i did a simple restart of my phone, after that the Messenging system stoped working, standard keyboard aint working either. Atm im using different keyboard and messenging app, but i prefer teh standard ones and wants to use it instead.
I also havn't got the Jelly bean update, my mom got jelly bean a long time ago but i still havn't recieved any update.
I contacted samsung and they told me to turn it in for reperation since it seems like my phone is bugged.
I don't feel like send in my phone and get it back in a month, so i wonder if theres something i could do myself to fix this problem.
Please send me a pm if you have any ideas.
Thanks for the help!

Hi, thinking about rooting my S3, can someone recommend the easiest/best/safest way to do this? This is my first Samsung phone, but have rooted HTCs in the past, which was easy enough to do.
I’ve seen a few guides, but not sure what the best one is.
Cheers
Use mskips method for rooting S3....
Its very easy and safe one.......
I used it.....
Now I m on omega 33.1 ROM....

So you used a website for the s2 on a s4? Or do you actually have an s2 and mistakenly wrote s4? OR do you have an s4 and are just lost? lol
No, the time I messed up I had an S2, that was a while back. Now I have an S4 and I want to root it to install Cyanogenmod but I don't want to mess up again like I did back then with my S2

I've never rooted an S4 before, however, I do have this thread that you should look over and see if this fits for you: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317105
Since you said the device is an AT&T S4 that would make it the i9500.
Make sure you look everything over before doing anything with it also, I've only had one run in rooting a samsung device so i can't really provide much assistance other then what i've provided so far. Hope this helps.
Thanks a lot, I'll check it out
