I'm using a Qtek 8500 and WM6.1 Build 5.2.21040 AKU 1.6.0 by Erofich.
I also updated Jbed Java because the version supplied with the ROM was really old, but it didn't help.
The problem is that some games are freezing for several seconds everytime a sound effect is supposed to play.
Like you walk over an item to pick it up, the game freezes and then it'll play the "pick up sound" and the game continues.
There is no problem with background music. It really just happens with sound effects. The problem disappears as soon as I disable the sound within the game.
I've noticed this problem with the following games:
Doom RPG, Doom 2 RPG and Wolfenstein RPG.
I've downloaded as many different versions of each game as I could find.
But if I think about all the other games I tried only had background music without any sound effects.
I just tried Bubble Breaker. No problems.
Is there maybe someone around who would like to try to reproduce the problem?
Try downloading tornado power control and then running that at 240Mhz - you can find it on here - I find it helped for running games like Doom/Doom II

Are there any playstation emulators that are working on the galaxy tab 10.1? All of them seem to have weird sound or poor fps. I think psx4droid worked on the xoom, but it's not playing nice on here.
Would also like to know this. Psx4droid just doesn't run any roms, and Fpse works, but lots of frame rate and sound issues running FFVII ( which according to the internets, is one of the best running roms out there).
I've seen it running really well on a phone, don't see why it should run badly on a more powerful device.
using FPse with Crash bandicoot and it works fine for me !
After I updated to Touchwiz UX FPSE started working alot better for me. Before I wasn't getting any sounds in FF9 and the sounds during regular gameplay were very choppy. Now I am getting 52-60 fps and sound emulation is great.
+1 for FPSe
Went through many emulators and the is by far the best.
Using an older version of psx4drioid (pre v2) works the best on tegra devices, havent tried it yet on my GT but on my old g-tablet it was the best emulator. Version 1.2 or 1.5 if I recall correctly.

honycomb does not play nice with psx4droid
use FPSe
- download scph1001.bin from the net
- go to FPSe settinges
- than system
- bios loading and choose scph1001.bin
- restart FPSe
- enjoy with the almost 100% working games with sound and everything
I've found most RPG games have messed up sound with FPSe, anyway to fix this issue? Final Fantasy 7,8,9
whenever i get ff9 fpse wont load it, where are you guys getting your working roms from?
Fpse is the freaking best man, it even works flawlessly on my nexus s
+ 1 fpse
I wish I could get FPse working for me, I have the correct Bios, but when I load any game it shows a black screen for 30 seconds and then force closes. I know the roms are working because they work with PSX4droid (however PSX4droid randomly crashes and sound clips). Do you think its because I'm using the Starburst ROM? Or possibly I have a bad bios file?
FPSe loads FF9 fine if I have the BIOS file loaded, except:
1) Graphics look like crap. There are settings that VASTLY improve graphics quality but these make it laggy/choppy
2) No sound in many areas. Basically, there is no background music
Well FPSe is working great in terms of frame rate and all that ... But yeah getting a weird sound issue where the music in FFVII seems to be chopped off a little.
Notes don't' seem like they are completing or something. Kind of weird.

I'm having trouble with fpse. What files are the Roms you guys are using? Do I have to unzip them or rename them? I'm a little lost. Thanks.

Make sure you enable spusync or whatever under the audio settings. FFVII works great for me <3

Runs perfectly smooth with no slowdown in FMV sequences? Because I am not having a similar experience. I have messed with the settings a lot, and I can get generally smooth gameplay and battle sequences (50-60fps) but I cannot keep the FMV scenes from being stuttery/jerky at time.

I have spusync option on under audio and frame limiter + frame skip 50fps. With these settings i get smooth gameplay in any game I have tried including FFVII and FMV scenes.
Try it out, the frame skip 50 fps allows some games to run normal for some reason with out any jerky gerky. (make sure frame limiter is active)
Happy gaming!
If your having trouble running Plants vs zombies on your Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0 or 5.0
(my game played fine until the night levels)
The game would lag, freeze, and touch controls would stop working.
then download chainfire 3d (Root Required!)
Open the "Per app settings"
and scroll to "Plants vs. Zombies"
now click the check box next to: "reduce texture quality"
You can also use "disable map buffer emu" but it's not as important.
The game should now run super smooth!!
how ever since we reduced the quality, the sprites of the zombies do not look as good.
But at least it plays
I have attached some in game screenshots take a look
-----
Note:
The fourth screen shot is blurry because it was taken while the game is playing, so NO, it dose not look that bad,
but it should give you a general idea of how the colors will look.
thanks! will try this if I also encounter the same problems in the night levels
I have the SGP 5.0 yp-g70 and it had trouble at first without chainfire and no overclocking. Then i oced to 1.2 GHz and it works fine. I havent used chainfire extensively but i find that it isnt needed for most apps except GTA III and maybe other gameloft games like modern combat (on GTA i still get lag but there is a way to fix it)
Need a new game to play? Something which awesome graphic? Something new? Then take a look at this
Google Play developer Henrik RydgÄrd has made an PSP emulator that after the last update is capable of running the game Daxter pretty well on our Note II. There is of course some minor FPS lags, and cutscenes dosen't seems to work - But it's still playable. If you've spent hours and hours of your childhood with the Jak & Daxter then you should diffently try it out
So far i've also tried these games:
Tekken 6 - Unplayable (hangs at loading screen)
God of War Chains of Olympus - Unplayable (extremly slow FPS, but works)
Emulator dosen't require a Bios, BUT it does require a ISO of the original UMD, as always DO NOT ASK FOR DOWNLOADS! Xda does NOT support piracy - You'll have to rip the UMD yourself which requires that you have access to a PSP with CFW.
If you want to support the developer there is also a donate edition of the app.
You can get the emulator here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsIm9yZy5wcHNzcHAucHBzc3BwIl0.
NOTE - The PS3 sixaxis controller does work with this game using touch emulation.
thanks for the tip

Currently i've have only tried Daxter with success - A list can be found here:
http://www.ppsspp.org/compatibility.html
This looks promising
http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=574
Very promising indeed! Best emulator project ever IMO
Tried Tekken Dark Resurrection today, there is stil some work to be done, but if you enable frame skipping it's OK in the practice level. Background music does load but only for a few seconds.
Can't wait to see the next relase of the emulator - imagining being able to just plug your Note in a HDMI dock and play tekken with your pals
Buildbot
Just found out that there is automated builds of the project - It is being updated serveral times a day so if you've got a game that currently dosen't work you should try to download one of these builds:
http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/
I've have downloaded the latest release, and it fixes the missing sound problem i was having when playing Dragonball Shin Budokai 2
There is of course still work to do, since there is some minor audio issues, but in general the is one of the most playable games (played it like for 3 hours yesterday)
So if you got it lying around grab that PSP and dumb it
On a little side note i've noticed that when using my Note 2 in the Smart Dock the performance of PPSSPP would significally drop:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=42781190#post42781190
So if you want better performance use it without the dockingstation.
Is there any game that works without any bugs or lag?
Little Big Planet seems to be working well enough
Hi all.
Is There any of you that owns Xperia 1 have a problem with the Google navigation system . I mean about the cuts when you watch Netflix or playing games like PUBG or Real racing 3? If yes did you manage to solve these issue if yes how
There are no issues regarding the screen while playing games like asphalt and fortnite. I haven't check the pubg for now.
The netflix screen depends upon the content. HD contents will be cut out if zoomed. HDR will be better with very little or unnoticed cuts.
