As you may know im 17 years old.

1. Open "Root Explorer" and click R/W
2. Go to /system and copy build.prop to your sd card

my battery lasted preety much same as usual with my usual use
i modded my build.prop with yours and i can definetly see a difference.
phone is more responsive and faster, although scrolling is as it was before.

u can try adb mask controler (dont know if it works on our phones)
or u can do this
1.copy build.prop from /system to your /sdcard
2.copy to your computer and copy this tweaks
3.copy your new build.prop to first directory when u open root explorer or root browser and such and paste it there
4.change permission
5.cut it to /system and replace old build.prop

I´ve noticed that some of these tweaks allready in my build.prop if i rewrite them at the end of my build.prop will they cause any conflicts?
Example:
I´ve noticed the VM heapsize is set to 128m originally but att the end I´ve written that I want it to be 64m, will this cause any conflicts?
I´ve also noticed that some are exactlly the same, what will this cause?

That's available in any Sony Xperia stock ICS 4.0x

you can aply him
1. With a root explorer(I prefer ES file explorer), copy /system/build.prop to the root of the internal sdcard (/mnt/sdcard).
2. Connect phone to computer and copy the file on your computer.
3. With Notepad++, open build.prop and edit it. Be careful as some of the parameters already exist. Just change their values.
4. Save and copy the file back to your phone's root.
5. Overwrite /system/build.prop with the edited file.
6. Make sure that the permissions are still rw-r--r--:
7. Reboot into recovery and wipe cache and dalvik cache.
8. New values should be applied now.

yes you can add more language to your android device how to make this ?
1- download needed language you can use any (font) from any rom you need
2- flash it with CWM or copie him with root tool like root explorer
3- go into build.prop and find this line

Next to every # is the explanation of the tweak. The next line is what you actually cut and paste into build.prop. For instance:
# Raise JPG quality to 100%
ro.media.enc.jpeg.quality=100
ro.mediatek.gemini_support=true
raises your pic quality to 100% and so forth. The code you put into build.prop starts at ro and ends after true. Hope that helps, and always do a back up before playing around with build.prop! Enjoy

the full name is Debug SurfaceFlinger HardWare it means so far as i know hardware acceleration for android apps and games

You don't have to copy the '#...' lones, they're judt comments that make it easier to understand what it's about.

Before doing anything plz backup your main build.prop located in root/system/build.prop

Grand Prime (All Models) Doesn't support OTG since it can't bring power for external USB devices So it cant be a USB Host ... its just a USB Client .
Hardware doing it doesn't exits on Mainboard
However I put a option for it and it s ON in build.prop Just for you

Did you made a nandroid backup? If not, factory reset from recovery, if that doesn't help, flash stock rom.

my unit is fine now. what i did was i flashed my unit via odin and now i'm thinking if i still try to modify my unit using your build.prop.
i just want to ask if your modified "build.prop" is applicable to ALL grandprime firmwares?? another thing is that i want to suggest that in your tutorial please include the troubleshooting of our unit in case of failure. I made back-up the last time i try but i don't know how to use when my unit was bricked. BTW thanks for your thread.

FINALLY MY PHONE STARTS AFTER EDITING MY BUILD.PROP.. as of now my unit is under observation for the changes. Thank you sir. :good::good:

Thanks I'm just a bit noob of this build.prop and It took me 10mins to look for permission to rw-r-r that he's talking about...
anyways before I paste the file or the text... will It be compatible with my firmware because It's for G530HXCU1AOE2 and my phone is G530HXCU1AOA2... should I replace that name?

My build.prop is now empty after I paste the modified build.prop but I don't find any problems... why is that?
