I have a Verizon fascinate but I flashed it to Page Plus. Can I still root and flash roms without any type of PRL based problems?

you might also ask in the mezmerize forums
I think as long as you don't overwrite your original modem file, you can flash whatever you want... But I'd nandroid first.
So I will always be able to go back by doing a nandroid? Should I worry about how I choose to root it?

youll be fine flashing roms....you may have to edit and config mms...but not much, you'll retain your page plus service.
So I soft bricked, Odin back to Eugene kb5, cm7 stable then aokp build 5 to slim 4.2. After full wipe I finally got past this screen but now I am on slim and can't install gasps or add ons. Can anyone help me or tell me what I did wrong.

You have to reflash your bootloader.

I have the same problem.
Where can i find a bootloader for Galaxy S3?
Hello everyone,
First off I'd like to say that I'm a big fan of the site and have been referencing it ever since i got my HTC EVO years ago. You guys rock!
The reason I'm here is because I have a Motorola Photon currently running CM9 with Jelly Bean. I like it, however I don't like having to tether with 3g speeds when I know something faster is out there.
So my main question is: Have there been any ROMs (Jellybean or otherwise) that allow for 4g usage? If so, could you direct to where I could find them?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help out.

That thread seems a bit dated now. I am on 198_7. Can I pick any custom rom and lock the bootloader to gain 4g?
Sent from my MB855 using xda app-developers app
No. Custom ROMs (ics, jb, etc.) use custom kernels, which are not supported on a locked bootloader. Sorry.

I just got a notification to update my phone to android 4.3. But my phone is originally a sense one. Should I skip this update or will it brick my phone?

Did you convert or are you just running a gpe ROM? If the latter, the update will simply fail.
Not converted, but never mind, they uploaded a flashable zip. Thanks though!
