Hi, is there any way to hide the toggles from the notification bar? I don't need all the toggles that are shown, and would rather use widgetsoid to create the toggles I need. Thanks.

Only by rooting your phone. Look at the index sticky thread, theres something in the mod category that hides it completely.

Is it possible to remove the clock from the status Bar?
Howto?
I use VillainRom or Cognition
Why would you do that ? I don't see a case where it's useful to hide the clock... Unless you have a ton of bull**** applications which makes tons of bull**** notifications
It's possible with CyanogenMod though.

Well, if you have a clock on your homescreen, everyone will laugh at you when they see you have 2 clocks visible on 1 screen since it's pretty retarded.
If he can turn off the satus bar clock he doesn't have to look retarded while using a homescreen clock.

Agree 100% - status bar clock is worthless IMO, delighted to be rid of it.
Revolution ROM also supports EDT tweaks/clock removal.

Just what I wanted.
Agree. But the EDT tweaks will still shows date and time on the slide down notification status bar which make it look very crumsy.
That's nice if your drop down menu has a non-transparant background.

It's possible but it can't be done by non developpers. I mean, you have to configure theme settings in android files to do what you want.
Anyway there are available themes on xda that add some functionality to the status toggles, you could look around. For example, the theme I'm using has 9 toggles on the status bar.
EDIT: I found this app.

It doesn't change the toggles that come in the notification bar (as I said you have to mess with android files for this) but it can make launcher's in the notiications panel. It looks pretty cool, maybe you should try it.
Hi
Is it possible to enable/disable action bar icons? The scenario is that on the action bar there are two search icons, but they do different jobs, one searches the contents of the app while the other filters the listview (searches the table of contents only)
So if a user only wanted to use only one search method, is it possible to make an option in the settings on the app to enable/disable action bar icons?
Thanks

I've been searching for a launcher or a Rom that has this ability?
Basically, to be able to move the top navigation bar to the bottom of the screen. And instead of swiping down, swiping up to bring up all the options.
Anyone have any insight?

you might wanna say "status bar" not navigation bar. And to do this, you would have to install a custom ROM, as no launcher can do this. I believe Paranoid Android and PACman rom does this by making the phone into the tablet ui mode and having the status bar on the bottom.

The launcher doesn't do this sir. that woudl be the SystemUI that controls the Status bar and the Notification Dropdown. That would have to be modifed to do so.

Woops sorry, I guess I meant Status bar, Are there any other VZW Roms that are known to have this option?
How come a launcher cant do this if they can modify other things?

The launcher IS the interface that controls the homescreen/app drawer (hence the name "app" launcher). By installing a 3rd party launcher you override the default TW ones. The status bar is located in another application that cannot be replaced.

Pretty much the title, I like / need the apps in the pulldown bar (like the Ultimate Rotate App), but I don't want its icon to appear up in the task bar, as it is useless. Same goes for Trillian, I'd like to get a notification up there when i recieve a message, but while its idle the icon is useless. I don't want all these icons that take up room for no reason, is there an app to get rid of just those icons up there? And no using "disable notifications" from app settings gets rid of too much.
You Need Xposed Framework
