Maybe there but it could be in the framework-res.apk
FYI: cyanogenmod for instance allows u to change the color in every color the phone supports so i think its about 16.000.000 colors u may chose

JTC42 allowed me to edit his theme a little,so i came up with this...
-Blue top bar text
-Blue carrier text
All the credit goes to JTC42!!
works great, thanks.
No problem!!
Looks fantastic! I'm running it at the moment but I've edited it to include the resources from this theme but with the solid black statusbar still.
It looks great so it might be worth you asking the OP if you can merge his theme in too
So,u want me to use the blue top bar text and carrier text for that theme?
Im glad to do so!!
But i shall ask him first...

Basically, the theme he has posted is the newest Arc UXP theme leaked, but it has the old statusbar and text colour.
All I did was open up the systemui.apk and replace the statusbar images with my solid black ones (no gradient) and it looks great.
If you did that, but with your text colour mods, it would look amazing.
But definitely ask first!
works hard, thanks,i like it

I don't believe so because the background color is controlled by an xml file and to my knowledge (someone correct me if I'm wrong) there isn't a hex code for transparent. The best you can do is just leave it white or turn it black like you see in CM7 or in some ICS roms.
Hope that helps......
wrong section!!!!!! this should be in GENERAL section....
yes you can change but not with the stock one ....download "Handscent Sms" or "Go Sms " they are highly customizable
But the mms.apk in gingercruzt cn be set to transparent .. den why not other?

You need to decompile your systemui.apk.after that go to res/values/
edit styles.xml, search for TextAppearance.StatusBar.Clock and change the value of android:textColor to 808080 (which i think is grey, not sure).after making changes, save and compile your systemui.apk and there you go...

Maybe I have missed something here.
Every application I use to decompile an ICS apk file returns errors.
What application are you using to decompile and then recompile the apk files?
Any help would be appreciated.

You can open the image which you want to set as the background via the 'Album' and go for options, use as and select Wallpaper.

Try the attached apk. It *should* have a black background. Please let me know if it works. Just use a file manager and place the apk in /system/app and set permission like this -
XX-
X--
X--
Btw, you should have posted in the Q&A Section
For me it's not black

if it uses a png file as background, u can replace it with a black png file. have a look in drawable-mdpi folder. if it changes background by using codes, u have to decompile and edit some codes.
