Flash it via AP fastboot.
- Plugin your Razr, reboot into AP fastboot
- be sure that the kernel boot.img file is in the same foler like the fastboot.exe (or moto-fastboot.exe or eprj-mfastboot.exe, whatever you use)
- open up an command prompt, browse to thet directory which contains the files and type:
fastboot flash boot xx
Click to collapse
the xx means the name of the boot.img file name. If you want to flash the "boot44.img" then type that name instead of xx:
fastboot flash boot boot44.img
Click to collapse
fastboot means, when you use moto-fastboot, you should type moto-fastboot instead of fastboot
Example for using moto-fastboot.exe and boot44.img:
moto-fastboot flash boot boot44.img
Click to collapse
If there is displayed something like:
sending...OKAY
writing....OKAY
then everything went fine!
got it?

I'll try it later
Thanks!!!

- added new kernel and radio from 676.226.3.en.EU
- added init.d tweaks

I don't why, but after fashing the latest leak, 676.226.3, I have issues with the black gapps. After flashing the package, Gtalk has disappeared and I'm not able to re flash it, even the normal one. I also tried a all clean installation..... same result! Bye.

Try to flash normal gapps.

flash rom
i would like to flash the rom from brazil but dont want to do it as a second system just replace the one im using so can i do it and how.
im runin ics oficial brazil.

Wrong thread for that question
But to answer it: Just follow the guide given in the thread from your Rom. If you are using bootmenu right now and want it persist then flash the rom and after that install bootmenu.
Gesendet von meinem XT910 mit Tapatalk 2

Can you piont me to a tutorial cuz im noob and dont have bootmenu im just rooted with the brazil stock rom.

You don't need it, if you don't want use a second system. But here is a guide: http://www.eternityproject.eu/topic/123-romgsm-ics-custom-roms-frequently-updated/

Fix Razr Latam ICS stuck on Fastboot ( its not a downgrade to 2.3.5, 2.3.6, 4.0.3 )

Hello,
This is for every one with a Latam phone who tried to downgrade and get stucked on Fastboot. and for some who was on the Chinese ics and Flashing to Latam is not working since no Fastboot ICS Latam
After working on it for 2 hours
i was able to find a solution and i tried it on many phones to make sure it wasnt just question of chance.
Step1:
download the Fastboot that i modified ( its a mix with Retail.Br.en 2.3.6 and Retail.Br.en ICS 4.0.4 + some modification in the XML file )
Flash it with RSD Lite as usual
Step2:
Put the update file in the ext-sd card
Step3:
When finished flashing go in Recover mode by pressing the key combination of Power button + volume up + volume down button together at once. You will see the recovery screen ( ! ) just press the volume up + volume down
Step4:
scroll to " apply update from external storage " and select the needed file
"blur_version.651.167.3370.xt910.brasil.en.br.zip" this update will JUST fix the missed file , keep the updated ( since its a mix ) and delete the un needed file ( as usual )
Reboot
and your phone shld be working
Modified fastboot:
Latam_Retail_BR_2.3.6_mixed_with_Retail_BR_4.0.4_and_xml_modified
ICS 4.0.4 update Br.en
blur_version.651.167.3370.xt910.brasil.en.br
P.S its works only for Latam.
I'm not responsable if you brick your phone ( its not a downgrade to 2.3.5, 2.3.6, 4.0.3 )
Please if it works for you or no try to put me up to date

No, once on ICS there's no going back to GB... At least not right now... This is to repair a botched ICS upgrade on a LATAM device... I guess by changing the corresponding files in the script, it could be used for other regions...

Ok. Factory reset + clean cache + redo the rsdlite ( better to unzip the file and take the xml ) let it reboot by it selft it will download by itself à recovery. Than go back to recovery and update with thé update zip file. Dont change the name of the file ( some time changing names can affect and better that u do a new download on the dont use the same ) also some times it happens during download some data will be missed )
Sorry maybe in repeating ehat u did but this is the only way

I need some help with flashing ICS

So, maybe this is the most nooby question you have ever read, but I come from a samsung galaxy ace, and it was very easy to flash a ROM, just flash zip from SD card, and Motorola RAZR is more complicated, at least for me. I want to flash the final ICS build for Europe (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1747800) from EternityProject, so I downloaded the Rom and the Fla**** tool. I followed the instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1453660 but I don't know what's the AP Fastboot mode. My razr is rooted and it has Clockwork mod recovery. ¿Can somebody help me please?

Use this Guide and search for RSDLite 5.7 and use the actual Moto Driver.

Bricked- flash failure, cannot flash sbf

Urgent help needed guys. :crying:
I installed an unofficial CM10 port on the second system of the BootMenu, and got a bootloop upon restarting.
Now, after I boot into stock recovery, select the AP Fastboot and try to flash from RSDLite, i get this error
"cdt.bin" (flash "cdt.bin" -> Phone returned FAIL
I was running the EU ICS leak on the first system before that.
Please tell me what to do, I'm badly stuck. Its really an emergency.
Is there an CM10 build for the Razr?
You tried to wipe Data in Stock Recovery first, before you use RSD? (I guess it won't help much)
You're not able to boot into BM Recovery, right?
The Boot Menu shows and warning, before you rebooted your device, why did you boot?
You now got an CDMA Rom on your RazR (not even sure, if it's an RazR Rom)
That's not easy to fix i think. When RSD won't work it's strange. Your RazR is an EU Device?

I installed the RAZR CM10(DHacker's unofficial, it was CDMA now i realize) in SECOND system, so the hijack was still intact. It didn't give me a warning before rebooting!
My razr is asia retail, but was working perfectly fine on EU leak.

When I try to access the stock recovery and try to flash a ROM through external SD, it gives this error

cdt.bin is an signature failure like you get, when you flash an wrong region rom or try to downgrade.
If you're in Bad trouble you got an higher secure level now. But I'm not sure, if it really can happen through an Custom Rom?
Never faced such an Problem by using an Custom Rom, so I guess it's an Region problem.
What can you lose by trying one of these Roms? I read the Thread and it seems that this are full flash Roms. So they will delete everything on your RazR (even the internal SD)

Sony Xperia Go - rooted kernel

Hello everyone,
I finally managed to make rooted kernel for Xperia Go (ST27i).
I just want to mention, that I have unlocked bootloader and I didn't try is this kernel working with locked bootloader.
Requirements:
stock Sony 6.0.B.3.162 FW
unlocked bootloader
working fastboot
How to Flash:
download the rooted_kernel_ST27i.elf (sendspace.com/file/74xilq)
save it in the folder with fastboot binaries (fastboot.exe files)
power down device
start device in fastboot mode (hold volume up and plug cable)
and use the following commands to flash the kernel:
fastboot flash boot rooted_kernel_ST27i.elf
fastboot reboot
After restart, download and install busybox from market, and update superuser...
Update:
Rooted kernel .184 (without recovery )
It's work for me
Flash last firmware 6.0.B.3.184 using Flashtool
Download attach, and flash the kernel:
fastboot flash boot rooted_kernel_184_ST27i.elf
fastboot reboot
Click to collapse
I can't do this without:
DooMLoRD - I used his files from rooted kernel for Xperia P
Championswimmer - for tips and tool (ANDROID KERNEL KITCHEN 0.2.2)
Bin4ry - for tips
So, thanks to them
big thanks man. i will try it. little question: when will be rooted kernel for 6.0.B.3.184 too?
request fastboot.exe link
Great job driversax, many thanks. Too bad I updated to 184 yesterday. I'll either have to wait for a corresponding kernel or I'll have to find out how to downgrade again.

But I will check when I get back from vacation (4 days) and also I will try to make new rooted kernel for firmware 184 and maybe recovery

I confirm that you can install it over 184. Two caveats however:
- User data is wiped (I was under the assumption that a kernel flash keeps user data - is this generally not the case or only in this instance?)
- In About phone, the reported build stays at 184, but the phone offers to update over the air to 184 again, and after downloading, installing and rebooting, it complains that installation was unsuccessful. You cannot even remove the notification, it stays permanently in the status bar. I finally got rid of them by disabling the updater – thanks Driversax, finally I have root powers – and rebooting.
Battery life has been normal (or even better than previously) for me (using it less than 24 hours though).
---------- Post added at 06:09 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:02 AM ----------
Oh, and one more thing:
Droidwall doesn't work (iptables doesn't seem to be implemented on the Go - apparently not the oply Sony phone with this problem, although Xperia S is reported to have it). This was the prime reason for me to root the phone, so it's quite a bummer. But at least Titanium Backup works, and I can get rid of the bloatware (although, to Sony's credit, there are no overly intrusive or battery-draining apps).

Bricked Mi 9
Let me get straight to the point before I explain. I bricked my Mi 9 (had it for weeks but didn't use it till I got the bootloader unlocked) and it doesn't boot into TWRP can only get it to fastboot no matter what I tried so far. Installed an unofficial TWRP there are two types with practically 0 differences. This Mi 9 is the global version. 6gb 128gb storage
So I wanted to try Xiaomi.EU ROM as it's a debloated version as some would say. but that had a nasty camera bug, status bar notch looked cramped and unpolluted as they tried to minimise the bar. Some apps from the playstore wasn't installing like the DJI mimo app, it would just cancel halfway through the download. Then I completely forgot that my fingerprint scanner won't work on my banking app anymore, since the bootloader is unlocked. Google Pay also suffers from that and I know you can use magisk etc to sort out most of the problems like the fingerprint scanner and Gpay. So after discovering these issues, there are far too many to deal with now. I'll just go back and try something more clean and that's where all the mess began...
I haven't rooted in a few years so I'm very rusty at half the stuff that is happening. I know bits and bobs but that was with my Nexus and Pixel phones. Mi 9 is my first official replacement and I thought hey let's get back into mods etc. If only I had more knowledge on what to do. I will still try to figure it myself, so I potentially could help others but I fear I won't get far.
Anyways tried to get it back to run a beta version of the latest global or stable and so the last thing I did before all things went to . I went to TWRP and advance wiped dalvik, cache and data and was specifically told not to mark sdcard and another option which was there. (This was a thread I was reading, can't remember which site) now the phone completely 'ded' as in it is now stuck in the bootloop and doesn't go anywhere else besides fastboot. How I went about flashing TWRP and trying to install magisk was using the XiaoMiTools V2 which did some of the work (unbrick feature isn't available yet on the toolkit). But after the wipe I did, the toolkit doesn't recognise the device and MiFlash also doesn't seem to work although with that I think I get weird prompt like something didn't go well and I'm maybe not doing something right although I believe I have. Because the phone has been wiped I don't have ADB debugging on the device and I believe that could have been a solution for me to wiggle out of the mess. So I'm desperately looking for the community to help get my Mi 9 fully operational again. Anyone out there?
Only thing fastboot seemed to recognise is when I'm flashing the different two versions of twrp.img
Looking forward to your comments.
Hello friend, I have the same problem as you. `` The system has been destroyed''. I wanted to know which Chinese version you have used, because I have the EEA V10.2.17.0 and I do not know which Chinese version to use, the ones I downloaded have given me an error. Tell me who you used your thanks. If you could make me a little guide, I would be very grateful for more than 10 days without my mi9 .. @PRolo

Bit of an old post to reply to... But did you manage to fix your problem? Did you note down the build of the original ROM that was on your device in the first place?
Thanks for this post, sadly my new Mi9 is in the same condition. All I did was update to lastest EEA-ROM (which was offered automatically by system right after setup), registered for BL unlock and finally decided to Factory Reset and start afresh as did not recover data from my Google backup.
Right now I cannot use recovery mode as the recovery also throws the "System destroyed" error (presumably because the update did something awful with the recovery).
As the mentioned method does not work in fastboot mode I am a bit at a loss on what to do - besides waiting for the BL unlock timer to do its thing (which it hopefully will do despite the fact that I don't use the phone ATM). I tried a lot of tools and hints but so far with BL locked its a no-go
Any ideas/suggestions ?

Can you enter fastboot or recovery?
Do you know which exact version of rom your phone was using in the first place?

Have you tried miFlash Tool from here, which also has instructions. On the same page is a link to latest fastboot ROMS. here's another link to fastboot roms. Does this help?

No, sadly I don't recall that. Presently I cannot recover any info on the version with fastboot getvar all, the fields are empty.
I think I can remember the update had something with a "9" or "19" in it - but the "9" would mean a global ROM instead of an EEA which I expected (the phone is marked with global, though)... I do recall Google Update is from 03/19...
Well, what a mess...

Well if its marked global you might not have any choice but to try and flash global fastboot rom. See above post for links

Thanks, tried that with MiFlash but it seems unable to erase existing partitions with locked BL. I'll try EEA next, maybe it's a ROM compatibility thing...
