S3 Defect? /Can't flash any Firmware (original) - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey XDA Members!
I have a problem with my Device.. If i wanna flash any kind of firmware, (flash via odin) i get this textbox :
Code:
<ID:0/003> Odin v.3 engine (ID:3)..
<ID:0/003> File analysis..
<ID:0/003> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/003> Initialzation..
<ID:0/003> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/003> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/003> CODE_I9300XXALF6.tar.md5
<ID:0/003> NAND Write Start!!
The blue bar is full after 1 second ..this cannot be, it takes much longer if you flash an original firmware.. i read that there can be something defect at the s3? what can this be? i cannot flash any firmware because the blue bar is filled after 1 second and then nothing more is happening..
Please help me !

I have had this problem before try making sure kies isn't running on your computer see if that works.

did you install the drivers??, you have to install the latest Keis for the drivers, and kill the application.

have downloaded from samfirmware 10 times for now
and my device is detected from Odin, so the drivers are installed
i don't really know what it can be

Sorry about posting here - i tried posting in the actual thread but it told me i wasn't allowed.
Anyway i have a problem.
I'm flashing using: CF-Root-SGS2_XW_XEU_KE7-v4.0-CWM4.tar
Phone details:
Droid Version: 2.3.3
Kernal: 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKE7-CL215725
I tried flashing twice now and both files it failed.
I click start and it gets suck here:

Cheers guys
Edit: I can reboot the phone fine - loads fine but not rooted.
Make sure no kies processes are running, check using the task manager.
Unplug phone, close odin, kill all kies, replug, check no kies, if so kill, load odin, flash.

I have no idea what you mean by kies programs. I don't remember installing anything called kies.
I only downloaded the drivers, not the entire kies package.
Do i need to install the entire kies package?
Just tried again after rebooting pc. Still the same result
Edit:
Just installed kies, killed both processes and tried again.
It still failed. Am i using the correct kernal?

Yep, download newest version of Kies™.
This will install the right drivers, needed for.the PC to recognize the phone and get permissions to read/write and flash.

Step 2 - Click on PDA and select CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4.tar

[Q] [ CF-Auto-Root v1.0 Stuck while flashing

Hi everyone I'm freaking out this is the second time i root my device s3 international the first one was with CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4 but after i installed the official jb for the uk i decided to root with Chainfire new root CF-Auto-Root v1.0 and now odin is stuck at just after i pressed start this is what it says in the message box:

<ID:0/005> Get PIT for mapping..
It's been like that for at least 15 minutes now I'm not sure what to do if it's safe to disconnect the phone or what.
Please help me
This is the exact same scenario as what I've had the last week. I just pulled my battery and USB cable and everything was fine. However do not try flashing a PIT file, as the problem suggests. I tried it and bricked my phone. I never found a fix for the mapping problem, my phone is off to warranty now.
Well, mine was very fast, a few seconds, nothing even close to 15mins so something went wrong for sure. The good part is that you'll probably won't have an issue to disconnect that and try again. Not sure how this works, but it probably doesn't mess with the bootloader. In that case you'll always have download mode and therefore can always try again.
Odin has hanged for me before (with my S1). Usually changing the USB port or/and rebooting computer and phone does the trick (provived you had everything working before and just hanged now for no apparent reason).

PIT means Partition Information Table.
If you even try flashing that, you will brick your phone.

First, I tried to root and that failed. I then tried to install via odin twrp and that failed. then I went to philz via odin and that failed. Now when I boot to revocery I have the following screen - pls see pic. I am on stock 4.3.
Thx
Edit: I went ahead and wiped cache and data and am starting anew. Does this mean I can try to install a custom recovery again? It still shows the same screen as below.

I tried chainfire's root n900p. Thats when it all started to go wrong. It wouldnt boot into cf's "special recovery" to root the phone. So, I thought I would just try a custom recovery and install a rooted rom from there.
Thats when I tried twrp 2.7.0.1 for 4.3, it did not install.
Then I tried philz touch 6.08.7: it did not install.
