Not working for you either?

The gt-i9300 is the Galaxy SIII, right? That means you're on ICS. Facebook contact sync doesn't work for ICS yet. There are apps like HaxSync that do this though.

Actually on the Gnex. Custom from, but didn't work on stock, usually worked

Some ROMs incorporate it on their own, so I would just stand by for a ROM update.

I am using ICS and have been for a while. Facebook did some changes to their API and Google didn't approve, so for the most part contact sync doesn't work in ICS(unless dev made it work) as a work around I use syncmypix, not ideal, but works wonderfully. Check it out in the play store.

Moving to Q&A
Hello,
I just got my GS3 and immediately flashed Task650 latest release (I am using his ROM for my Gtab for almost a year now, and I love it).
My question is, I really liked the Samsung camera app, however, when I try to install the apk from the stock Rom it just fails to install, any ideas?
BTW, I tried copying it to system/app and revolt the phone, no luck also.
Thanks

So u have an international version of this phone. Why not try the international i9100 forum? Also , nothing rooted into the touchwiz framework will work on aosp with a simple copy paste. The aosp rom would have to be heavily modified. Making it not aosp at all I suppose ha.good luck happy flashing.

You never know guys, because all ICS roms are based off I9100 bases, he could still have that as the XDA app signature default, so he may actually have an I777.
OP, sorry but I doubt it's possible. But I could be wrong.

OP does have an I777, but this is the second time he's posted this question. He's asked the same thing in the themes section...

@OP.. just as everyone says, Accuweather is touchwiz based and would not work on AOKP. If you want it you'll have to go back to a touchwiz based rom; also, posting the same question twice shouldn't be done.

Well, don't I feel ashamed. :silly:
I guess I haven't been on here lately enough. Back when ICS source code for I9100 was first released and I777 leaks were trickling in, it was my understanding that most ROMs were I9100 based because official ATT ICS leaks had an older firmware base, their kernels and ROMs were based off such old architecture that Entropy chose not to support the leaks. I even remember a mod accidentally moving a ROM thread to the Ported dev section because it was based off I9100 base, but he moved it back because the majority of the ROMs in development at the time were also I9100 based; the I777 based ROMs just weren't very good. I thought it had always stayed this way, but since I never payed much close attention to AOKP and other AOSP-like ROMs (I'm in the minority that actually like TW), I guess I didn't learn enough about them to know this wasn't the case, and/or that it had changed later (I have no idea which one is true).
In any case, this thread is done.

Yup sure is... mods will close it soon.
Huh.... is there a difference? Looks like rain on both of them lol

The difference is one is built into the toucwiz framework and the other is a play store app. Yes it does the same thing .

I have the liquid JB rom and need the samsung s note app to install to be able to have the use of the note as before. Is there an app to download or install the premium suit for it?
This should be in the Q&A section but the short answer is no there is not because it needs touchwiz framework
No s note will never ever work with liquid jellybean. It is tw based and liquid is aosp. The two won't work together. The closest thing u can get is g note it can be found in our pa rom op. If u want s note u have to have a touchwiz rom.
