Show off is good
But actully I also think the same, it has no significance
> I got amaze with those antutu scores! 2300+ on p350 lol
I don't get it, the specs for the P500 and the P350 are pretty much the same:
both are MSM7227, 600 MHz, and have Adreno 200. That's mindblowing

msm: kgsl: 2d context ids need to be global
msm_kgsl: Fix 2D page fault errors with context switches
btw
yes 1gz is my really my show off but i added 1ghz because i saw a gt540 kernel witch overclocked upto 1ghz, LOL

There is no way to go up to 825 with the existing module... The phone hangs and reboots immediatly... Most phones works fine on 729 and 748...

BTW: That was awesome fast!
Superb. But i think we are talking about useful oc no only for five mins. You can overclok everything to its limits but you need good tools and sources for that . And oc is personal device side cos every device will overclok in individual way

exactly It was totally only experimental and for proving to myselv, that it was possible Running a stable 749 mHz
My X10 Mini can only go to 748 before freezing on me.
825Mhz ???
It freeze on boot & restarting ...
my phone can't reach 729Mhz only stable at 710
If you want higher freqwences just change voltage of battery this can help because phone could restart depending od the temerature of device smaller voltage =smaller temperature

how could i change voltage battery????

Your phone will be hanged and then u need to reboot it and remember in setcpu dont save the profile to set on boot.....as u will have very less time on startup to change it back to 729mhz....coz this is highest frequency.....if u set the profile on set on boot and OC to 825mhz u may need to update software ........
Sorry for Bad english

I know every cpu is not quite the same but I'd like to know what you guys can get your Ace to do.
For some reason I can only get a stable oc up to 864Mhz and I have heard people can get stable oc up to 921MHz
Is it just my cpu being a special one of am I doing something wrong?
It's not the kernel because the kernel I've got goes up to 1036MHz also I'm running Cyanogenmod so I'm not sure What else I could be missing.
Also please post your stable oc frequency please because I like to know what can the ace do without crashing.
My phone runs smooth on 921MHz all phones are different Dw about it
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
You should check alone how much can you overclock you ace by doing small steps and test you phone stability. An universal frequency for all Ace doesn't exist, any Ace can by run at different speed. It is dependent from the production quality.
I was trying to get my ace to do up to 902 Mhz at the max but it freezes at 883Mhz. And I was slowly changing the max frequency every 15min with light use but it just sticks at 883
hello, I´m using CM7 and the kernel patch to oc the ace, my stable cpu frequency is 902mhz and goes realy smooth on any game and also the flash player runs pretty good. this is my quadrant standard score:1989
It's all different. I have it run 883 stable, stable as in no reboots for long usage. I can set 921 without instant reboot but it will crash apps eventually.

Well try to slowly oc it like first go to the one after 600Mhz.But don't be surprised if it freezes or turns off because OC it is hardware dependant. You see LG put a limit in the stock kernel because ALL p350 can handle 600 Mhz however from that it really depends on the cpu YOU have. For example i can OC mine to the max (844Mhz) but mine friend who also has this phone can go to 800Mhz (im talking without freezing or crashing of course). So if you cant go higher you have bad luck.

sounds to me that the phone cant handle more then 600mhz, take each oc one step at a time to determine what the phone can handle and what it cant

Try a custom kernel that can let you r phone handle higher frequency... Try setcpu to set your desired Frequency.. Like all the users here said, step by step in increasing your frequency while considering the stability of the phone...
