Why is it that sometimes when I put a charged battery in my phone it will not turn on. I can "jumpstart" it by plugging my USB charging cable in.

I had this problem and solved it by rebooting into recovery and powering off from with recovery. The power button worked properly afterwards.

Can you elaborate on your problem, is the computer not recognizing the phone when its plugged in.
Its got to be the USB cable you wigggle it an it works for a second, it's the connection at the phone

That's not uncommon to have a problem with the USB cable. Time for a new one.

I was using my SGS2 last night and I go plug it in to charge it and pulled it off the charger now the phone won't turn on. When trying to turn it on the menu buttons flash and nothing else. I can't get into the boot loader to reset either. My phone was running stock and was not rooted. I did have it unlocked for T-Mobile though. Any ideas what I can do? Thanks.

Problem solved: My brother switched chargers so the whole time it wasn't charging, it was just really dead. Its now charging on the right charger! I'm glad its working now!
