Do You have your song in internal memory. Sometimes players have problem with that. Try to use other palyer for a test

Hi.
I recently got a mini, updated it from 1.6 o 2.1, rooted it with superoneclick and everything is jus peachey...
Except with the music player - whenever it plays a track, it randomly starts playing another track while playing the main one, then continues with the trach you were listening to. I have tried increasing the sd cache read ahead speed but this doesn't help, I have also tried changing music players - using nemo player same results, using the player from the w8 as well.
I have changed four different sd cards of different classes still I get the same irritating behaviour.
What can i do to make this a great music playing phone?
This is not an issue with the music player, the tracks are corrupted happened with me, the data of songs get intermixed coz its too simillar, it shudnt happen with other songs! Try deleting the corrupted files...
Thank you Galvic.
The mistake I was making was that i was backing up everything then formatting the sd card, then copying the backed up stuff that's why. Jus copied new tracks - lo and behold, the little midget works perfectly now.
Thanx again Galvic.
Cheers!
Hi
I have a 16gb class 2 sdcard wich is very slow. There's alot of music everywhere on my sd but every app I use force closes while scanning or playing songs. Are there apps that can play my music and just don't bother themselves to my sdcard?
Btw I already tried (of coarse) the stock one, google music, winamp and poweramp but none of them seem to work...
try music mod
Power Amp
great Bass Power
Folder search & operations
stable!
I already tried poweramp see second post but that also fces. And music mod also fces
Try Songbird
Either there is a problem with ur sd card or the apps. But if all the music app are force closing, well i think it could be some problem with your sd card.
Btw do the music players play the music which they have found(some inbulit music)? if yes then try checking your ext partion. There may something with that.
Hope this helps

Yes the can play the music if it's scanned but only for half a minute or less then fc. It just could be my sdcard because of 16gb and class 2... Btw I'm not using partitions except for the system ones
Edit: songbird works without fcs!! Tnx!
Ok so songbird works but it hasn't alot futures, it just plays my music (sometimes automatically when my screen is off) any other suggestions?
Did you try to change rom with wipe data etc? Maybe its rom bug or sdcard speed fix if its used

Yes, try TTPOD, thats a great mp3 player and more and more a rivalry of PowerAmp.

I don't think it's the sd card.. 'coz i have 8gb class2 card, and 5gb of music and movies, and non force closes.. i listen music with the stock player, and movies with mvideo app. must be something else. try wipe data, or flash another rom, or just reflash the same..
hey guys, you can try this modded version of miui player for galaxy 3 it looks like the Walkman player from SE phones, and its very fast,i use it on my G3 and its very good.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1325310

But all is only question of choice
Silly quesiton, but it'd appear that since moving to ics I can't sort songs inside their album by their track number (in the stock samsung music player), they are sorted alphabetically and I can't find where I can change that...
Can anyone tell me what I'm overlooking? Thanks!
ciao credo che non ci sia un'impostazione per quello che dici tu, pero potresti editare i titoli delle canzoni aggiungendo prima (#), #=numero
Spero di esserti stato d'aiuto (se si premi thanks)
Before moving to the ICS official rom I had them sorted by their number metadata just fine tho... I really dont want to rename a million songs when they have their track number just fine in their mp3 metadata :/
Rocket Player
I use Syncr to sync music from iTunes to my SGS2, and I have encountered this problem with AAC files in the past. I previously used Mediafix to solve the problem, but it doesn't seem to be working in ICS.
I have just tried Rocket Player, and it seems to parse the metadata correctly.
Hello guys. I went to a concert last night and I recorded some videos from my Galaxy S3. Two of them are fine. The rest five when I am trying to play them I get the message "Sorry, this video cannot be played". Do you have any idea why is this happening??
Thank you for your help
The file got corrupted so you've lost those videos, but try playing in Pc first.
I get this when trying to play some files via "play movies"
Yet if I get to it by "my Files-extSdCard-Movies" it plays just fine.
Wierd
May be the file extension is not supported.

I tried and same happens. Is there anything I can do to not happen again and recover the videos?
Recording on internal memory seems to reduce corrupted videos but nothing you can do to stop it, and I've heard of programs to recover corrupted videos but don't know any off hand.
Hi guyz I need a simple app for searching and modyfing id3 tag of my mp3 files. All my song have tagged title and artist correctly and i hope to find an app that automatically finds out album and albumart and tag them.
It is important that tags remain also when i pass music at pc and others phones.
If u know also pc programs for doing it I would be very happy ^^
Thank you in advance
