hey guys...I have a strange situation here..I used cm9 for couple of day with allright haptic feedback. I reverted(backup) with CWM to my initial 2.3.5 firmware and now I have Haptic Vibration Feedback issue. Now, I installed the stock firmware with ODIN. I still got the Issue..Tried wipe cache...data/user everything.
Thanks for helping.
Go to Settings -> Sound, make sure Haptic Feedback is checked on and Vibration intensity is properly set (at the biggest point).

Thanks for your advice, but it`s obvious that i checked that cuz I get low vibration when writing on the keyboard or pressing the buttons.
When I move the Vibration intensity scroll I get the good feedback but after pressing oke...I get the low vibration again.
I just noticed that there is no haptic feedback on the two capacitive touch buttons. Also, there is no haptic feedback when you open the screen previews, add a widget, etc. I wonder if there is haptic feedback on this device. I couldn't find where to enable this option.
What device do you have? The 4.0 and 5.0 both have three buttons. And they both have haptic feedback.
I have the 5.0. I don't have the haptic feedback for the menu and back buttons.

Only the USA versions have three capacitive buttons. Look at the guy's country - he's got an International version with two capacitive buttons and a mechanical Home key.
And I don't know which device you have (4.0?) , but the USA 5.0 is missing haptic feedback for menu/home/back touchkeys.
Might be fixable with a change to the keylayout file - or possibly some hacks in the Settings smali. For me, trying to get statusbar-swipe-brightness working is higher priority, but that's proving to be a pain in the ass. Smali makes my head hurt.
Hi. I'm bumping this thread.
I got my international version YP-G70 yesterday and it came with 2.2.2 (froyo).
The haptic feedback and vibration in general worked well.
I upgraded via Kies to 2.3.5 (gingebread) and the haptic feedback was gone. Alse there was no way to enable it under Settings/Sound.
So i flashed the Eryigit 2.3.6 custom rom and hoped the issue would be resolved, but sadly no. In the sound settings there is an option to enable/disable haptic feedback but it doesn't make any difference.
I feel the vibration motor behaves a bitt sluggisk too compared to 2.2.2.
Does anyone have some sort of workaround/solution to this?
I just checked and it does not vibrate at all! and are the soft keys haptic feedback?
yes there is feedback
haptic feedback is not working for some reason
Is your power saving mode on?
Lol i knew that
Power Saving Mode turns off haptic feedback. However, when I disable PSM, I expect haptic feedback to turn on again, but it remains off. Does anyone else have this problem? Is this supposed to work this way? Is there a way to automatically turn haptic feedback back on after disabling PSM?

I noticed that too, I always have to turn it back on manually.
Your "restrict performance" setting may still be on without psm, also your haptic feedback could be off because of silent mode, or haptic feedback intensity could be turned down.
